Soul Society

Soul Society, as it's founder called it, has it's roots on the
area of the state of Montana.
History 1607-1700: with the arrival of the British to the
newlands, immigration boomed and many new settlements started
appearing through the steppes. However, not everyone wanted to
establish and become the founders of new metropolis, some,
enjoyed a more peaceful life on the wilderness with tribes-men
lifestyles, most of these pioneers were wealthy citizens who
either inherited their riches, or worked their whole lives for
it and wanted a change of pace.
This mass of excentric adventurers headed north, to colder
places in search of a semi isolated place to establish their own
territory, on their travels, they made contact with a tribesmen
that they didn't recognized, unlike most known indians, they had
pale white skin, they had advanced systems of governance and
didn't resembled the central colonies tribespeople, upon many
negotiations and tributes, both parts managed to reach a
coexistence, seeing the benefits that both parts could take from
the other.
And so, the territory of Montana became inhabited by multiple
"Civilized" tribes who would create complex buildings,
autonomous governance and a professional military force to
suffice their needs through time.
1700-1800: While the world was at war, the tribes continued
prospering and growing in numbers, from the original 20000
citizens none remained, but their offspring and legate survived
in the newer generations, with numbers reaching the 100,000
people, inbreeding and lack of a gene pool weren't a problem,
the existence of the "independent state" became aware in the
midway of the century transitioning, and people escaping their
regimes, or running off from wars reached the capital, in search
for a new life. The original founders had a mindset of liberty
and nature that the newer generations didn't shared entirelly,
it looked less and less like scattered tribes, and by the end of
the century, the first metropolis had been born, it's name was,
"Kismet".
1801-1830: As soon as the new century kicked in, a massive
ammount of problems surged through the inhabitants of "Montana",
with the quick population growth there were more mouths to feed
and less lands who could suffice such need, in the starting
years it wasn't a problem due to abundance of territories, and
as such, bad planeation led to a social mess. In total, there
were 9 settlements and 1 metropolis who now called themselves
"Perisneans" (they called themselves Pioneers, but due to
challenges on accents and language, they became Perisneans).
To face this new crisis, the 10 chiefs decided to produce new
goods that could be traded with the exterior, as a way to create
more jobs available resources were invested in the creation of
mines where they gave some signs of exploit.
1831-1920: Probably the biggest economic and religious boom...
Since all the tribes shared a common ancestor, the mixture from
two similar races, their religious views were identical and the
populace was driven by faith when the times became dark, this
new increase on religious acceptance was viewed positively,
likewise, with the new opening to the markets people from
everywhere started importing their business with hopes of
becoming rich... The tribes adopted a currency called "Presnans"
in remarks of their "Perisneans", on this period of time, is
where their military began to grow exponentially, since the
state was revealed to the public, it was common sense to bring
on a new order to their armed forces.
1921-1925: on this period, an external monarchy decided to make
of the State it's colony, the female monarch called Irea
invaded, forcing it's citizen to follow foreign law.
As the first and second years passed, people began to become
more aware of the sense of liberty their ancestors strived for,
now deprived from it, they formed a sect below the ground,
called "Insomnia", this secret society prepared citizens to
fight the newly established monarchy, through speeches and
music, a person managed to rally supporters to his cause.
"My people, my brothers, my friends, we face the border of
individual extinction on this foreign power that forced us to
kneel beneath them, I do not consider that woman superior to us,
all I see in her is a putrid soul coated on gold coins, but gold
coins wont save her from fate, we are bounded by our ancestors
heritage, and we have a duty to pay to them, we must respect
their legacy and fight for what we consider truthful, all I see
in you, my family, are souls, burning brighter than any metal
discovered, we are a Soul Society, and together we will vanquish
our enemies, upon revolution!" - Fragment from the memories of
the First Citizen Zero.
From that point on, people began to reffer to him as "Citizen
Zero" a new form of individual that lacked any personification,
he or she wasn't "anyone" anymore, but rather, they lost
themselves in order to project the wishes of the whole Society
that backed them up.
As the hounds were out, they fed him with lies of their
government, when the hounds were out, his sickness was released,
engulfing those around him, joining his cause for survival and
self respect, to crush the fakeish utopia Irea had created, when
the cards were down for the whole world to see, when they were
down And the strings were cut the mannequins went to sleep.
Following the violent Revolution, Zero was on top of the ashes,
walking beneath the shards of broken mirrors everywhere, they
stood on a crossroad, afraid but not alone, thousand missing
faces... In honor to their sacrifice a new hope was reborn, he
was grateful that he could leave the world without a regret at
all, with all his strength emptying him, and all about to left
him, he raised his voice, revolution...
1926-to date: Upon the death of Zero, a second leader was
chosen, a tradition was established, that made it's people
elegible for the position of Citizen Zero, so far he met the
tactical and political criteria to lead it's people, wife and
kids mattered nothing, since inheritance was impossible unless
the offspring proved superior to their father-mother.

1926-Modern Days: Upon the election of the second Citizen Zero,
new rules were established within the tribes, for the first
time, they were merging into a country of themselves, one where
only the original Perisneans had a place to call home.
The borders started to face an increase on constructions, forts
and walls erected everywhere, the spring tribes became
metropolis following Kismet, and so, life flourished on Soul
Society.
As the head of the state, Zero enacted new policies for all
departments, religion was imposed to fit the majority of the
populace, and restrictions were coordinated at the same time,
while religious zeal was a key part of their success on the
revolution if it was left unsupervised it may become a disarray
for the people, and might drift them from the newly formed
state.
Militarily speaking, tradition is way too deep in the roots of
Soul Society, while it has been modernizing itself through the
years, they have been unable to drift from melee combat, while
many nations prefer balistic missiles, artirelly and massive
tanks assaults, Perisneans stick to infantry assaults, with
ocassional air support from Helicopters and jets.
However, they have something unique on their ranks... Their
special operations units, "Insomnia" from the revolution days.
Modern knights wearing black armor and shields to the battle,
equipped with the highest technology available on protection and
balistics, armed with portable handguns and modern design swords
designed for extreme sharpness and thrust.
These soldiers join the battle as a special forces unit, usually
working behind enemy lines, they carry big shields with them
that can stand huge punishment from most calibers found on a
battlefield, their body armor has special technology designed to
resist fire and sharp objects such as shrapel and artirelly
remnants.
They excell at close combat, being able to gut down most
challengers easily, accept incoming fire while returning it with
their excelling marksmanship and being prepared with anti air
and land units as support.
The rest of the divisions of the army, are more conventional,
fitting to the general strategies of the State, which is,
defense, no tanks are deployed ever, only anti air and anti tank
units, the air force, its the only one that can dispute its
equipment technology with Insomnia.
