OOC: because I really dont think you should be on post mod. I'm
letting you speak freely. The only time I'm going to deny it, is
if it contributes nothing. Your paragraph contributed some
points that added to the discussion. I'm not going to edit these
posts. I'm strongly against that. Ultimately it was your choice
to write that in the first place.

       So anyways...
Are there any other ideas? Because otherwise I really like WP's
take. To have slow progression into a civil war. Start off with
my secession (Kinda like South Carolina) and then have a
realistic attack. Not just someone secedes and then dive bomb
um...because let's be honest, decisions aren't made that quickly
even in an authoritarian socialist state.

This is just devolving into a personal jab at me. And honestly,
this is really the reason you started it. Because you didn't
like my actions. You didn't like what I did so you wanted to
control it. Make it happen your way, or bother me in some way.
       And that's why I don't like this.

       If you say so....
Leave to the people to decide.

Truthfully any super Authoritarian state could do it. No matter
the wing. It would be a ruthless dictatorship though.
I suggest we plan one or two "big events" but never distinguish
when it will happen. Idk, honostly, columbia what do you want to
       do?

Firstly to address Caos: You are allowed to think whatever you
want about this post. Matter of the fact is, this discussion is
not about winners and losers it's about a reasonable and
       realistic succession of plot points.
And secondly to Cog: I just want to have a civil war RP with
direction that isn't just absurdly out of nowhere. It wouldn't
determine winners and losers but it would set certain events and
after certain events happen we continue on from there and come
up with new ideas like say:
       1) Columbia Secedes
       2) Congress Refuses to Recognize the Secession or Congress
       Acknowledges the UCA
       3) Columbia fires shots at federal forces attempting to give
       supply to Colombian People
And kind of go from there.

My 2nd purpose of this is to get an entire community involved.
if there is some kind of plot line we can follow then I think
it'll resort in less yelling and more constructive criticism's
       of a person's actions.

I desperately wish to remain neutral if we do this, I'll accept
refugees from any State, but I do not wish to fight in this. If
forced or pressed by either side I'll retaliate, in effect I'm
protecting Richmond and my own interests.

       1. Being neutral can still mean input in Congress. There were
many neutral countries in World War 2 that didnt really stop
them from being attacked. Ireland was neutral but they still
turned a blind eye to what the Nazi did to England because the
destruction of England would benefit them.
Irish people supported both sides. Yet staying neutral didnt
stop Japan killing Irish Citizens in the Asian region and
refused to hand over Irish POW.
So you could still technically have a battle thought in your
state also while still being neutral.
However overall if you are looking for an event that will
trigger an emotion that will see some states say ok we are
seceding or we are going to move closer to the government its
going to have to be a big event.
