"Oh, is that all? Huh? Is that why Spartan Congress is currently
discussin some stuff? Ya know over the radio...right on board
       for us to hear?"
Morris approached him. "You're facin charges of treason, and you
won't be gettin a trial it looks like, unless you wanna say
       otherwise to over 700,000 people."
"We know, you weren't there just to discuss, you sold us out.
Thought you were our friends, I was wrong. You're a back
stabber, your state is full of backstabbers. No respect. Nod
dignity. So, we're gonna shame ya."

"Sir I don't know what radio you listen to but all I know is
this. The Congress voted for me to begin talks with the
President to come back into the Union. You then ordered me to
leave which I did after taking a detour to my base to send the
results of the meeting to Congress and the deal she offered me.
I'm doing my duty as President of my nation. It would be agains
what we stand for if I begin acting like a Dictator. I am a
servant of the people and the people are Congress. So I've
committed no treason. I can show you the deal she offered us if
       you like?" Heath replied calmly.

"Give it to me," Preston opened his hand up. "Go ahead, let me
       see, you sellout."
The judge came over the man and looked down at him. "Did you not
secede and sign the Ordinance of secession?"

"Yes Your Honor I did after the Congress gave me the power to do
so." He handed the copy of the memo to Preston. "Preston my
friend. Why the insults? I explained I've done nothing yet."

"No insults, nope, hmmm, mhm," he hummed as he read. "And how
does this not sell us out?" He mumbled. "30 million dollars,
support from the states, aid to the poor, if you leave us and
DEN leaves you alone...that sounds like sell out to me. People
call us primitive, well do ya know what we do to traitors?"

"I would like to point out Preston that nothing has been decided
yet. This meeting has done nothing but push me further to sign
the re-entrance bill should it get through Congress. I do not
enjoy these threats." He waves his hand in the Spartan military
hand motion of distress. The carefully whatching military convoy
quickly rushed twelve men forward who moved forward with weapons
raised. The remaining men in the vehicles quickly got targets
sighted and ready to fire. "Preston, don't do this our states
can still remain friends. Just rejoin the Union with us and the
President has ensured us they won't have severe repercussions."
Heath said as he slowly backed away into his soldiers.

"This ain't about the money, Heath. This is about principle." He
stood up. "I'm 81 so if those bastards touch me that's gonna
look awful bad to the rest of the world. We ain't goin back to
the union, and I don't think you are either, Mr. Heath." He
       coughed. "Oh God..."
"Sit down, Grant, sit down, there you are Mr. Governor." Morris
turned to look at him. "Tar and feather, that's what the
Congress wants and I approved it."
"I said we were gonna shame you," Preston shook his head in
distress. "Why, why would you secede for only a few weeks?
Why!?" He yelled. "Huh? This is my last damn year in office so
don't test me, Heath! I won't be afraid to approve the tar and
feather." He waved in for guards to stand in front of them, they
       saw Spartan personell approaching.
"This is civil discourse, Sparta, stand down." Preston looked
over. "Your boss is gonna get tar and feather, treasonous. He
sold y'all out too. He sold his people out. You're a sellout.
Backstabber, Satan playin God. If you can't take principles
seriously then don't secede at all, you coward."

"It never was about the money. I told you we might not RE ENTER.
Order your men to stand down Preston. You started the threats
       here not me." Heath said.
The men arrived and partially surrounded President Heath. The
men acquired targets among the approaching guards and also the
two officials in front of them.

"You have no right to tar and feather us! We aren't your
citizens. You are threatening international leaders and we will
NOT stand for this. This is your last chance. Stand down
immediately, or we will fire! We can continue this talk civilly
but you must stand down first and cease the threats."
