Scouting Initiative

The Confederate State of Turkducken has recently announced the
formation of a youth program to educate, inform, and teach
younger generations survival skills, pragmatism, and to assist
in the formation of acceptable character traits. His Excellency
asks other States interested in such an initiative to join so
that individual Scouting Troops can be formed and communicate
and compete from across the States.
[center]Admission[/center]
- No persons may be denied for political, religious, or sexually
contrived purposes
- The age limit exists from 10-18, no person below or above may
be an officially registered Scout
- Persons above the age limit of 18 may apply for adult
leadership of a Scouting Initiative

[center]
"On my honor, I will do my best, to do my duty, to my Creator
and my country, and to obey the Scout Law, to help other people
at all times, to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake,
and morally straight."[/center]
[center]Scout Law[/center]
[center]"A scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly,
courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and
reverent."[/center]
[center]Outdoor Code[/center]

"As an human being, I will do my best to be clean in my outdoor
manner, to be careful with fire, to be considerate in the
outdoors, and to be conservation minded."[/center]

Scout-the lowest ranking member
Tenderfoot-promotion is made by showing an accomplishment in the
basic skills of Scouting
Second Class Scout-promotion is made by showing an adept
accomplishment of the basic skills of Scouting
First Class Scout-promotion is made by showing a mastery of the
basic skills of Scouting
Star Scout-A scout promoted to this rank has shown him or
herself to be dedicated beyond the expectations of a normal
Scout
Life Scout-A scout promoted to this rank has shown a commitment
to the lifestyle of being a Scout
Turkey Scout (or an equally applicably noble animal)- The
illustrious title is given to those that show an exceptional
mastery of wilderness conservation, survival skills, the Scout
way of life, and an exceptional act above that of a normal
Scout.

Merit[/center]
Upon showing sufficient mastery of a particular skill a Merit
shall be awarded to the Scout signifying their mastery of the
subject, these Merits may take any form but will have to be
recognized as portable and convenient.
