Riots break out in Pharq

After the passing of the Freedom Act and the subsequent
Columbian secession, many civilians in Pharq have taken a stand
to show their hatred towards a full blown Civil War. Many seem
to blame this on President Warren and other blame this on
Columbia. One protester had this to say, "She knew that this
would happen! She has put Confederate lives on the line by
making this foolish, foolish decision and frankly I don't think
we need a president that is willing to have Confederates killed
just so she gets her way!" The Great President has recently made
a statement, "We as a government supports the president in every
way. We cannot stand by while Columbia rips this Confederacy
apart. If this protesting becomes violent the police will not be
responsible for any and all injuries towards a protester."

The Cor'Therman President write a letter to Pharq, "I hope you
try your best to refrain from lethal suppression. They are
upset, they're rioting, but they must not be killed no matter
how violent it happens. The best course of action is to distract
them with a Event. Maby you can host a sport game your country
loves. Distract them from the thing that angers them. An
International sporting event would be promising. If that fails
offer a compromise like trade sanctions on columbia to make your
people feel they are influencing the government totake action.
This should suffice the want for change. But try the distraction
first. It could be interesting...
With best hopes of tranquilaty, President Hiendrich
Wilham Hiendrich"

After hearing of President Hiendrich Wilham's letter to the
leaders of Pharq, Pres. Erik Müller broke with his usual
reserved, diplomatic manner to implore the leaders of Pharq to
disregard Pres. Wilham's advice. "Your people are crying out.
They want to be heard. Attempting to distract your people may
work for a short period, but the wound of your insolence towards
them will fester and spread. I urge you to engage with your
people and open a public dialog between the two sides. For the
dignity and well-being of your nation and your people, I implore
you."

Sparta offers to send one brigade of riot police to help qualm
rioting in Pharq as a friendship offer and hope to establish
ties in the future.

While we are thankful for the offer we have the manpower to do
it ourselves.
