IC: Although highly covered by DEN news crews, the protests have
little effect. Only a small handful of extremists and Spartan
and Columbian sympathizers have been affected, numbering very
little. The police, however, watch for any violence. M

The protesters begin to yell very loudly and some fireworks are
set off. The protests have spread and are blocking the roads.

Police forces have moved to unblock the roads, and air coverage
of the event is starting to take place. The SA begin to
peacefully usher people off the roads, and urge them to continue
their protests peacefully.

"Damn the SA! Stand your ground!" Nathan Hall yells. The
majority of the protesters sit down on the ground with linked
arms refusing to leave continuing to block the roads. The people
standing yell into megaphones various chants. More Spartans
continue to arrive and join in enthusiastically.

A few APCs arrived, carrying about 75 riot police in full riot
gear, and began moving forward towards the Spartans. The riot
police formed a wall formation with their ballistic shields held
out, walking forward slowly. They had their AS-5s slung down,
aimed forward, with a sheathed bayonet and armed with rubber
bullets. The APCs had 40 mm grenade launchers with tear gas
canisters (And a 7.62 mm with rubber bullets) and were moving
forward with loudspeakers saying: "RETURN TO YOUR HOMES. LEAVE
NOW."

The mass of people remained seated and yelled, "United we stand,
the people, against the tyranny of DEN!" at the top of their
lungs over and over and into loudspeakers. They remained seated
and made it clear they were peacefully protesting and in no way
rioting. Several people began to record the situation in case
something developed.
