At the turn of the 20th Century Richard Daniel Harding was the
ruling monarch of Turkducken, at the age of 55 he was relatively
young compared to other kings or queens who had arrived at power
in Turkducken History. Winning the hearts of the people with
various social and economic reforms early into his reign he made
it clear to the people that he was their King and they loved him
for it. Enforcing conscription at the very turn of the century
proved to be troublesome as the Country had never needed a large
armed force before, however the King was enlightened by rumors
of other foreign powers and sought to strengthen the country
against foreign aggression.

Mandatory Conscription is enforced heavily in the Theocracy,
severe punishment against families of deserters is upheld by law
in Turkducken. Current estimates are unknown of total ground
forces, but it is expected that they are to be the most
plentiful and are willing to die for their God-King.

Military Strategy of the Theocracy
Large formations of Infantry of the Line are formed in rows of
two at the most. From the Medium to Long range engagements
rifles are used to eliminate the enemy from afar, reaching close
range Calvary charges from the rear or sides, failing that the
closest infantry divisions charge the enemy position. In a
defensive or outnumbered situation the infantry is advised to
construct defenses and hold out until either the enemy is
depleted, or until reinforcements arrive. It is advised to most
Generals and Commanders that engagements not take place without
the ideal ratio present 3:1, that is 3 Turks for every 1 Enemy
soldier. This leads most "Armies" to be deferred to as
"Legions", as well as confusing most other military strategists
from other countries for the blunt and strange avoidance tactics
commonly used. Battles against the Legions of the Theocracy are
usually one-sided as the armies will not engage in proper combat
unless the proper conditions are met.
