       King Aragorn appoints Council General!
   DIR By: Gondor
       Date: September 14, 2015, 9:22 pm
       ---------------------------------------------------------
Per Gondor's Constitution, the King will appoint a
Council-General, made up of 4 lords and the Steward, the King's
right hand. Their titles and duties are clearly outlined in the
       Constitution:
       --- Quote ---
       > Section Two
       >
       > Gondor is ruled by His Aragorn Majesty the King, who enjoys
the authority of an absolute monarch in both internal and
external proceedings, including declarations of war, relations
with foreign powers and the appointment of Lords to the
       Council-General.
       >
       > His Aragorn Majesty appoints a Royal Steward as a safeguard
against the loss of royal traditions and knowledge, and to serve
as a permanent under-study to the King, and an immediate Viceroy
if need. Should the throne ever become vacant, the Royal Steward
may assume the crown as King of Gondor. The Steward shall also
serve as the Chief of the Council-General, overseeing the four
lordships of Gondor, but deferring to the ultimate authority of
       the king.
       >
       > His Aragorn Majesty shall also appoint four Lords to the
Council-General, each being tasked with the oversight and
execution of a specific aspect of the Kingdom. These Lords shall
include a Lord High Treasurer, responsible for the Central Bank
and all collective commerce; Lord Helm Guardian, responsible for
all matters of war and defence, as well as the operational
security of Minas Tirith; Lord Chancellor and Keeper of the
Seals, responsible for the internal workings of the Kingdom; and
the Lord Emissary, responsible for all foreign affairs of the
Kingdom, and for managing Gondor’s relations with foreign
       powers.
       >
       > In addition to the Lords of the Council-General, there shall
be a Council of Lieutenants, made up of four elected officials,
each charged with assisting a Lord of the Council-General in his
       duties.
       >
       --- End Quote ---
       The Steward: Johnathan Gray
This man needs no introduction. He served as Steward of Gondor
previously before becoming Speaker of the Congress, and
eventually the President of the NCSA. His term as President was
filled with civil wars and turmoil, not allowing him to execute
his grand vision he had for the nation at large. After the
subsequent election of Jessica Warren as President, Gray
returned to his grand estate in Gondor, in rural Wisconsin. He
drafted the Gondor Constitution and was then reappointed to the
position of Steward, being childhood friends with the king. He
looks to improve Gondor's general standing among the states, and
to redeem himself after what he called a failed presidency. This
man is on the rise. Look out.

       Lord High Treasurer: Christine Cook
Christine Cook is a renowned socialist in Gondor, and recently
published her recent book, The Benefits of a more Socialist
world. Growing up in Gondor, where the richest only make 2.4
times as the poorest, and median income is $80,709 Denethor
Tokens per year, she formed a massive labor union called GWTU,
or Gondorian Women's Trade Union, where she fought for years for
women's and worker's rights, improving work hours, wages, and
labor laws in Gondor. She recently became the CEO of Minas
Tirith Automotive, which is selling a car that runs on water and
air. She plans to strongly regulate the Gondorian economy by
helping the King institutute deep reforms in the banking system
through the authority of the newly a established Gondor Central
Bank, ensuring that no bank can rob its customers of their money
with excessive interest rates, keeping their money safe and
sound. She also wants a planned economic system, though many say
the king would prevent that. Her plans for trade are to
establish trade relations with as many states as possible,
making Gondor an economic hub for the NCSA.

       Lord Helm Guardian: Trey Garcia
Trey Garcia is a 5-star general in the Army, and served as a
member of the Chiefs of Staff in the Pre-Constitutional era for
15 years. He grew up in rural Gondor, where he milked the cow
every morning and went to the local First Baptist Church on
Sundays. He is a strong conservative amd believes that anything
and everything is permissible when it comes to defending Gondor,
and wants to build up the military even more than what it is. He
is for increased spending in research and development, hoping to
find new weapons to shoot any potential enemies with.

Lord Chancellor and Keeper of the Seals: Tony Paul
A strong-willed libertarian, Paul feels that the government
should stay out of the everyday lives of citizens. He was a
infamous criminal defense attorney for murder and other capital
punishment suspects, helping to acquit a total of 275 accused in
his 30 year career. Some say that he let people get away with
murder, but nothing can be proved. Not when he is on the job, at
least. His goals for internal affairs are to keep social
freedoms high in Gondor, maintaining the doctrine of little
governmental interference in the lives of the populace.

       Lord Emissary: Kenzie Zimmerman
Known to be a fierce facist, and even suspected of being a
closet neo-nazi, Kenzie Zimmerman is one to be all about
government power. She wants to use negotiations as a way to
consolidate Gondor's power economically, politically, and
militarily. She knows how to negotiate with pomp and
circumstance, but can also get in the face of a leader that
crosses her. As to her facist beliefs, she wants to establish a
Department of Diplomacy, in which all members say "Heil
Zimmerman!" and "Heil Aragorn!". Her strong convictions yet
usually gentle demeanor makes her an extremely mysterious woman,
and is certainly not one you want on your bad side.
