Aragorn instructed his guards to remain outside, and to visit
with the Namenian soldiers who were off duty in the barracks. He
then walked inside, where rooms, great halls, and winding
stairwells were present. He followed the soldiers until they
came to a stop.
"Greetings, Maximus. It is good to see you, comrade."

"Tovarishch, it's good to see you haven't changed a bit. Maximus
is inside. You know me, no?" He asked, and smiled. That was
Vladimir, a very well known man of power. And he loved messing
with people. Especially Aragorn.

He followed the right hand man of the emporer, his face red with
embarassment for not recognizing one of the most powerful men in
DEN.

He smiled and walked forward down the hallway, hands at his
sides. They walked in silence for a little, until he came upon a
door, and opened it. "The Emperor is here. I promise this time."

Aragorn walked in slowly, his eyes wide open with anticipation.
He looked in the room and in the back stood a figure, no doubt
Maximus.
"Greetings, old friend. I have come to discuss many things with
you this hour."

"Of course, Maximus."
Aragorn walked up to the seat, sitting down across from Maximus.
He made himself comfortable, and began to speak.
"It is good to see you, but this nation isn't in good shape.
Hopefully president Warren will change all that. The center and
north of the mainland is most certainly tensious after the civil
war in Esnax. Gondor is one of the few stable states there, due
in part to your military presence there. Our nations recently
started trading lumber and food for precious metal ores and oil.
That will bring many riches to both our nations as it is. What I
am here to discuss is an official treaty of alliance, with terms
that we haven't much discussed before, such as joint
technological development, and us giving funding into the space
explorational research of your renowned Buran program."

"Well, that was direct and straight to the point. Anything else
you have to say about us?" He asked, leaning back in his chair
and looking at him. He smiled and waited for the man. "We would
love to hear your full proposal.

"I apologize with my directness, comrade. I am not a man to
"exchange the pleasantries" or beat around the bush. At least
not anymore. I do love what you have done for my country,
though. I must thank you. My people stay safe at night knowing
that Namenian soldiers protect them. I mean that in all
sincerity. As to my proposal, I have a treaty for you to look
at. No terms are set in stone, and you may suggest any changes
you see fit. Have a look and see what you think."
Aragorn took out a piece of paper from his briefcase, and pushed
it across the table towards Maximus. He smiled expectantly and
waited for him to read it.
