Sr. Producer Brian J. created this video in memory of LEGO
Universe. I don't want to take credit for his work, and in his
own words, here is the description:

"It was a year ago today we received news LEGO wanted to close
down LEGO Universe. This is a look back at those 3 years of
making that game in Colorado. A pictorial anthology."
Enjoy! It sure is nostalgic to see all of these property photos
of places I've spent so much time in. I can recognize specific
builders and properties. Still sad, but it warms my heart to
remember such fond memories.

I love his choice of music. You did make me cry a little tho. =)
Within seconds of the start of this vid I had a gut wrenching
almost viseral response.. the need to go “home”. Who would
think that after so much time I would still feel such a
strong longing to be in this place.. because, at least for me,
that’s what it was. Not a game, but a haven to build, play and
hang out with friends, where I could do almost anything..
(except make that jump…) I still dream of it..

Yes, Figgy, thanks for the link to the video!
It warms my soul to see tributes like this, and (as usual) the
nostalgia comes fast and is poignant. I know what you mean,
Red, about the longing for "home."
I am very happy to see these islands of LU survivors here and
there, and I look forward to the time when we can associate in a
new online LEGO experience (hopefully sooner than later).
