As the children of God come together,
they are bathed in His blessed light.
The air becomes rich with luminescent hope
and the fires of promise burn bright.
Voices are blended in songs of old,
in praise of miracles past.
The resonant harmony lifts all the world,
but the days pass on by, way too fast.
The season of celebration,
needn't stop at holiday's end.
For the promise of life everlasting,
is a guaranteed dividend.
Wishing you an old fashioned Christmas
