Furs

With winter fast upon us even minifigures need to keep warm. I
thought my SigFig would greatly appreciate a fur cloak of sorts.
The idea started with using the Harry Potter troll loincloth

as a chest covering, but
found it too loose for a minifig. By suiting him up with samurai
armor, it began to fatten up. By adding a cape, i could stretch
the loincloth band under the shoulder plates, then around behind
the cape, to make it appear to be a thrown back hood. I thought
my little friend would be better aided by a true hood, so I used
a second cape that was flipped up and folded over his head. I
simply stretched the back of the loincloth up and over his head
to pin the hood in place. I though it would be cool to set him
within a cave of sorts, and the affect was pulled off well. My 5
year old brother suggested I use a light brick to shine on the
torch (Smart kid) but I couldn't get the camera to cooperate.
Decided to just desaturate and cool the image, and re-add the
torch color. This worked well enough for me to be happy with it.
This isn't a perfect representation of me (little difficult for
me to match that stubble at the moment), but definitely
represents my response to the cold.
