Episode 30 – Lesser Evils
Airdate: Saturday 26th September 2015
Synopsis: Alone in his cavern on Heng, panting and worn out,
Paladin gradually considers taking his own life with swords. The
Debt Collector then “talks” to him telepathically, assuring him
that he can still succeed… and promising that she can show him
how.
Talenra recovers himself aboard the Cybertronian ship, as
Umbraven scurries to safety. The ACL military leader laughs,
telling her that she shall still die, only for a blast of fire
to erupt in front of him.
Talenra: *laughs callously* Don’t bother hiding. You’re not
escaping; you’re delaying. You’re going to die, Cyber-scum.
Umbraven breaths quickly as she hides behind the corner,
Emberscales’ Legacy crystal in her Hope Brace, only for the ship
to tilt at an even further angle. The Archaicons have it tilted
up on its wing; Haywire quickly snares the wing with her wires,
shredding it and allowing the vehicle to completely roll onto
its side. Umbraven and Talenra are thrown about inside, and the
fembot uses her Hope Brace to teleport away. Talenra clambers to
her previous location moments later, and snarls in frustration.
All the while, the rest of Scale’s team are continuing their
steady journey through the ACL citadel. Umbraven teleports in
next to Quickpaw – only to be immediately left behind as the
retriever-bot continues speeding ahead. Shaken, Umbraven is
swiftly surrounded by ACL soldiers, and she creates a blast of
dragonfire all around to take them out. Paladin and Sickleclaw
then encounter her, surprised at finding her in the citadel, and
she hurriedly explains about Talenra and the attack on the ship.
Thinking for a moment, Paladin reasons that the mission matters
most right now – Umbraven panics, and he tells her to stick
close to him.
Paladin: Right now, we have to focus on our mission.
Umbraven: Huh? Wait! No! I- I can’t go with you, it’s-
Paladin: Umbraven! Stay calm. Stick close to me. We’ll move
quickly. Trust me.
Sickleclaw swiftly takes out more approaching ACL soldiers with
the sword-form Omniconfigurator, and the trio continue on.
Giaseqen witnesses the Cybertronians’ continued advance, and
grimaces; she attempts to contact Talenra, but receives no
response. She then in turn receives communique, as Nosk’yra
tells her to allow them to reach her. Gritting her teeth, the
political leader points out that they are heading for her, most
likely to kill her, but Nosk’yra assures her that he has a plan.
Giaseqen closes the communications link and slams her fist on
the desk.
The low light in Sawblade’s quarters dimly illuminates the
crazed scrawlings on the walls – the complex plans that once
meant to control the Archaicons, and now focus on bringing down
Dinobot. Sawblade circles Haywire’s name, puts down the marker,
and switches the lights up. The scrawlings disappear, visible
light overwhelming the low UV lighting. He contacts Haywire –
she discretely takes the call as the Archaicons continue to
attack the Cybertronian ship. He whispers to her that he wants
her to attack Dinobot; he assures her that he will fulfil all of
her desires if she does so.
Sawblade: I have a request for you. Our gloriously incompetent
leader stands before you… attack him. You can tear through him
in an instant. Do that for me, and I will bring to fruition
every desire that you have. Understood?
She meekly nods, and closes the comm.link as the ship is torn
apart. Finding the ship empty, Dinobot orders Airazor, Toxiclaw
and Haywire to take out the ship’s computer systems for
Scorpinax to analyse. While Airazor and Toxiclaw head straight
in, Haywire pauses for a moment, contemplating her attack. As
Giaseqen sits impatiently in her office, Quickpaw slams the door
open. Greeting the ACL’s political leader cheerily, she enters
the room… and immediately freezes in place.
Quickpaw: Well, hey there, Giaseqen! Lovely day for a swift ki-
*freezes in place*
Hesitant at first, Giaseqen soon begins laughing in a mix of
relief and disbelief. After a moment, Quickpaw’s body teleports
away. Paladin and Sickleclaw continue following Quickpaw’s trail
all the while, with Umbraven safely between them as ACL soldiers
attack. The mech suggests to Umbraven that she use the
dragonfire power to help fend off the enemies, but she is too
afraid of the thought of attacking others. Smiling, Paladin
tells her that she is one of the Final Thirteen, and needs to
stand up and fight. Taking a deep breath, Umbraven strikes down
several soldiers with the fire, with Sickleclaw shielding
herself with the Omniconfigurator. Impressed, and with the area
clear, Paladin leads the fembots on… only to find even more
soldiers.
Scale and Noxa head through the citadel, struggling to follow
the path of the others having been separated from them. Somewhat
shaken, Noxa asks Scale if they are in the right in attacking
the ACL soldiers; the former-mercenary notes that some
situations are kill or be killed.
Noxa: Scale… I hate to be that guy, but are we… doing the right
thing? Not with Giaseqen, I know that’s important, but these
soldiers are…
Scale: Sometimes you have to do things like this. Sometimes,
it’s kill or be killed. It’s you or them. We have to get to
Giaseqen, quickly; that’s all that matters.
He then freezes more approaching soldiers, before racing on with
Noxa in-tow. The computer system of the Cybertronians’ ship is
secured – Dinobot contacts Scorpinax and Shockblast, informing
them that they shall be returning shortly and have acquired the
ship’s computer for the signals expert to analyse. Taking a deep
breath, Haywire goes to attack Dinobot from behind, but the
leader responds instantly, slicing through her wires and drawing
his sword to her throat. He demands an explanation, threatening
to decapitate her otherwise – panicked, she confesses that
Sawblade asked her to attack.
Dinobot: Explain yourself! Or your head shall be leaving your
neck!
Haywire: Sawblade! Sawblade told me to… to attack you. I’m
sorry!
Visibly annoyed, Dinobot withdraws his sword and thanks her for
telling him. As Paladin, Sickleclaw and Umbraven continued
fighting through ACL soldiers, Scale and Noxa join them and even
the odds. Umbraven is still overwhelmed, but hurries along with
the others as they approach Giaseqen’s office. Reaching it, they
quickly rush in… and find themselves in the bridge of New
Cybertron. Giaseqen laughs in her office, still utterly
unharmed. Unitus Prime, Arcrise and Quickpaw tend to the others,
and explain that Giaseqen’s doorway seemingly has a “redirect
net”, which has sent the group back to the main ship. Quickpaw
notes, however, that she has a back-up plan, and points to her
feet. As Talenra rallies his troops again, the ACL citadel is
wracked by hundreds of explosions, all at once. Holding a
trigger device, Quickpaw explains that she’d laced her soles
with remote nano-explosives, trodden throughout the citadel.
Unitus and Scale congratulate her, whilst Paladin commends
Umbraven’s progress.

Episode 31 – Places We Knew
Airdate: Saturday 3rd October 2015
Synopsis: In a grim and poorly-lit cell, Ferros is sat with
drooped shoulders. The little light coming through the energy
grid wall is blocked, which makes the imprisoned bot look up.
The Debt Collector is stood at the wall; she soothingly remarks
that Ferros has lost so much, but that she can at least grant
him freedom, of a sort.
Mirage’s team’s ship is currently resting on an asteroid – on
board, most of the team are discussing their next course of
action. Swingback suggests they head back to Earth, to see if
they can find and interrogate the Paradise Four. Parallax is
decidedly against this, and Mirage reasons that they would
struggle to make their way through the legions of Megatrons.
Unimpressed, Ferros points out that they have Andromeda and her
Fibonacci spiral to help; Wildfire snaps that Andromeda is not
just a weapon for Ferros to use, while Andromeda suggests that
Prophecy is more powerful than her anyway. The group then notice
that Prophecy is staring off into space – Mirage calls over to
her, and she responds calmly, obviously in a state of clarity.
She suggests they return to her temporary base of operations, on
the planet Fixoma, and see if they can use any of the technology
there to make sense of the Paradise Four’s origins.
Prophecy: I’ve been using an abandoned base on the planet
Fixoma; it’s got plenty of high-end technology. We should head
there, see what we can find about the Paradise Four. Any leads
we can get would be of value. It’s an opportunity that we can’t
waste.
The others agree with this course of action, and set the ship
off for the planet while Prophecy returns to thoughtfully
staring at the stars. The Debt Collector sits on the roof of a
building in the small, lonely town on Zefetraia, watching the
evening sky. She mutters to herself that she must try to find
out if Lightchild is still alive – leaping from the building,
she lands down on the ground gently, heading off down the street
with her chains rattling. Reaching a communal park, she begins
to jump from one place to another – benches, statues, trees –
until finally, she stops atop a large statue of a Cybertronian.
Stretching her hands out ahead of her, she asks everyone how
they are feeling.
Debt Collector: Hello, everyone. How are you all today?
After a long pause, the dust around the city gradually begins to
shift and move. A small breeze lifts up some dust, which briefly
collects in the visage of a Cybertronian before collapsing away.
The Debt Collector greets her sisters and brothers.
As the Cybertronian ship reaches Fixoma, Ferros checks with
Prophecy that the base visible is hers – the now-crazed fembot
is surprised to see her base, and asks if they can visit it.
Wildfire tells her that they are visiting, and Prophecy
excitedly hugs him, bringing him to the ground. Ferros pilots
the ship down, and Prophecy excitedly leads the group out
(dragging Wildfire along, much to Andromeda’s annoyance), opting
to tour them around. As soon as Parallax leaves the ship, the
base detects him as non-Cybertronian; several weapons systems
activate, but Prophecy nonchalantly hits the wall with her free
hand and deactivates them.
Weapon Systems: Non-Cybertronian entity detected. Breach in
facility. Breach in facility. Non-Cybertronian entity shall be
terminated. Entity to be terminated.
Parallax: Argh! Wait, wait, I know I’m not Cybertronian,
strictly-speaking, but uh- ah-!
*Prophecy hits the wall as she continues running off*
Weapon Systems: Offence deactivated. Threat disregarded. Tea is
being prepared.
Prophecy: Ta!
She then continues to lead the group on. Swingback quickly
catches Ferros and Parallax up on Prophecy’s periods of clarity,
though Parallax is too shaken by the weapons to pay much
attention. As Prophecy brings the others to the primary
surveillance room, she immediately performs a search for the
Debt Collector across the universe, stating very sternly that
they have to stop her. Swingback further explains that Prophecy
sees her entire timeline at once, hence the switching between
not knowing what is happening and giving warnings of the future.
Swingback: Erm… also, she sees her entire timeline – which also
means everything we’ve done with her or will do with her – at
once. That’s why she can seem like she doesn’t know what’s
happening. And it’s why she’ll sometimes tell us things we don’t
even know about yet.
The Debt Collector is walking through a larger park now, as dust
sweeps around her, moving in myriad fluid patterns. She soon
reaches an utterly still lake, and kneels down at the water’s
edge. Placing a hand ever-so-gently on the surface, she smirks,
and the dust steadily flows out across the lake, hovering
scarcely above the water in an intricate pattern. One large,
circular gap in the dust shimmers rapidly, until an image
appears on it, and then lifts up, rotating at 90 degrees to
allow the Debt Collector to clearly view it. At the same time,
both Prophecy and the Debt Collector find one another’s
location, and are shocked.
Andromeda asks where Zefetraia is, and Prophecy simply mutters
“home”, wide-eyed and focused on the search results. Mirage asks
her to elaborate, but Ferros halts her, pointing out to Wildfire
and Andromeda that the coordinates are one of the planets where
they encountered the Paradise Four. Turning to the trio, Mirage
asks them for more information, but of course none of them can
tell her much.
Mirage: If you know anything about this Zefetraia, tell me,
because Prophecy’s evidently not going to.
Ferros: Beats me.
Wildfire: We weren’t really there for long…
Andromeda: Yeah, we can give some basic information, but we
didn’t even know it was important… assuming it is, I mean.
The frustrated coyote-bot instead asks Prophecy what this means,
only for Prophecy to steadily back away from the computer
systems. She calmly tells them that they have to leave; Mirage
demands to know why, and the mysterious fembot states that the
Debt Collector is in control of everything… including the ashes
and dust of her sisters and brothers. The dust soars away from
the lake, dispersing on the wind as the Debt Collector furrows
her brow. She questions aloud what would draw Lightchild to a
dead world like Fixoma, only to steadily deduce that she has
been able to retrofit the technology to survey events. Chuckling
to herself, she also remarks that this explains the dual streams
technology from before. Her smirk then steadily drops, as she
wonders how Lightchild survived. She turns to leave, thanking
the long-dead residents of Zefetraia and stating that she has
more loose ends to clear up.
Debt Collector: Thank you, my sisters, my brothers. Sleep well
once again, just like you always have… I’ll see you again soon.
For now, I have other things to attend to… loose ends that need
tying up.
Prophecy hurries aboard the ship, with the others following – as
they board, they find that Prophecy has already programmed the
ship to head to Earth. She insists that they have to find the
Paradise Four before the Debt Collector does. Ferros questions
this, but Mirage claims that Prophecy has never wrong-footed
them, even if her information is vague. Parallax states that he
cannot go back to Earth, and Andromeda assures him that they
will make sure he stays safe. The ship lifts off, leaving
Fixoma… as the walls begin to ripple and shift.

Episode 32 – Carriers
Airdate: Saturday 10th October 2015
Synopsis: In a lab not unlike his own, Noxa is slouched,
restrained and breathing heavily. Dead plant life – and even a
couple of caged animals – lies all around the lab, and Noxa is
wearing fixed gauntlets. The Debt Collector strolls into the
lab, surprising the mech. She asks if he is tired of his touch
of death.
Paladin, Sickleclaw, Quickpaw and Umbraven are walking around
the large shopping district aboard New Cybertron, purchasing
provisions and browsing. Umbraven thanks Paladin again for
guiding her during the citadel breach, and the lyrebird-bot
assures her that she does not need to continually thank him.
Witnessing this, Quickpaw giggles at Umbraven’s behaviour,
before apologising to the shorter bot for not noticing her while
scouting ahead. All the while, Sickleclaw is staring at the
Omniconfigurator in glove form; Paladin notices, and asks her
what is wrong. The fembot remarks that she feels that the weapon
could have given them a much more thorough edge in the attack,
but she does not yet have the focus needed to control it.
Sickleclaw: I just think that the Omniconfigurator could have
given us an edge. I could have used it in so many ways… but you
need focus to use it. That’s not really something I have in
spades.
Paladin offers to train with her and help her gain focus, just
as random Cybertronians in the area start to collapse. Paladin,
Sickleclaw and Quickpaw all rush to help, while Umbraven uses
her Hope brace to call for Noxa. On Earth, Tetsuprima is being
studied and scanned by a group of Megatrons, who have little
idea of how the tortoise-monkey bot came into being, and
continually refer to him as “it”. Irritated, the Paradise Four
leader is then escorted back to the large laboratory, where the
other captives are sat. He informs his cohorts that the
Megatrons were not able to discern anything from him, while
Firegrowl uses his built-in systems.
Tetsuprima: No luck; no result. Whatever it is we are, even they
can’t work it out… not that that’s going to stop them trying.
Hummingstreak bounces up and down excitedly, as the dragon-dog
bot manages to generate a portal between the lab and the room in
which Tetsuprima was being studied. Medusa reminds the group
that they have only one chance at success, before Hummingstreak,
Freeline and Rattlesoar slip through the portal. Necrocide’s
ship soars through the sky above the city, heading towards a
suitable landing location.
As Noxa rushes towards the shopping district of New Cybertron,
Arcrise intercepts him, stating that Unitus Prime needs his
services. When the medic tries to explain the situation in the
shopping district, Arcrise tells him that it is happening across
the ship… to every single bot who isn’t one of the Thirteen, or
herself.
Noxa: I’m sorry, I would, but there’s an emergency! In the
shopping district, everyone’s collapsed-
Arcrise: I know! It’s… it’s happening everywhere. Everyone on
the ship is collapsing. Everyone who isn’t one of the Thirteen,
except for me.
Stunned, Noxa accompanies Arcrise to the bridge, all the while
communicating with Umbraven to tell her that everyone across the
ship is suffering the same symptoms. Umbraven passes this
information on to Paladin, Sickleclaw and Quickpaw, who are
struggling to cope with the number of collapsed Cybertronians.
As Noxa and Arcrise reach the bridge, Unitus immediately asks
Noxa if he has any thoughts on what is happening. Scale is busy
keeping an eye on life signals across the ship, and chimes in
that everyone has not just collapsed, but are in fact dying.
Stunned, Noxa shakes his head in refusal – upon further
questioning, he explains that he once had the power to kill with
a touch. Many scientists studied him, often rather ruthlessly,
for a fair while. Unitus asks if this means that there is a
cure, but Noxa explains that the Debt Collector cured him. He
observes that some of the scientists were non-Cybertronian, and
the research may have found its way to the ACL – the collapsing
and steady fading to death are the exact same as his touch.
Noxa: Some of the scientists that… studied… me, were
non-Cybertronian. Lots of research was compiled, it’s possible
that it fell into the ACL’s hands. Everything about this is just
like my death touch. The collapsing, the slow fading… it’s the
same thing.
Scale questions why he assumes it is to do with the ACL, and the
medic asks the former-mercenary to check the ventilation
systems. Upon close inspection, it is apparent that there is
some manner of discreet, airborne chemical collected within the
systems. Arcrise checks the surrounding air, and observes that
it is present within the ship’s atmosphere, originating from the
bridge itself. The logical assumption is that it passed through
via the teleportation from the ACL citadel. Furious, Unitus
attacks the consoles in the bridge to vent.
Hummingstreak, Freeline and Rattlesoar stealthily make their
way down corridors, with Freeline patched into the facility’s
computers, allowing her to track where every Megatron is. As
soon as the path is clear around the large lab, Rattlesoar tells
everyone else to head out – Tetsuprima leads the group out, and
Rattlesoar guides them while Freeline continues leading the trio
along. Suddenly, an explosion occurs: Galvatron has burst into
the facility, and is steadily working her way through the
Megatrons advancing on her. Many of the other Megatrons in the
facility head in the direction of the conflict, and Rattlesoar
is forced to redirect the other escapees to avoid being found.
Ripple bemoans their luck, but Straight-Aim suggests that they
can use the chaos to their advantage.
Ripple: Of course this would happen… when was the last time we
had luck on our side?
Straight-Aim: No, don’t get too concerned. We could use this to
our advantage.
As the citizens of New Cybertron continue dying, Arcrise
attempts to calm Unitus Prime down, asking him what his plan is.
He asks Noxa how much time they have to work out an antidote,
but the medic is already studying one of the bridge crew and
observes that the process cannot be reversed. It is the essence
of death in chemical form. Scale asks why it had not affected
anyone until now, and Arcrise suggests that it has been remotely
activated. Noxa declares the crew member dead, while Scale
claims that everyone else has died too. Paladin and co. witness
this in the shopping district, and are shaken. Seething, Unitus
says that they shall set the ship down on an abandoned world and
leave their people to rest.
Unitus Prime: … we land the ship. Some backwater world,
somewhere empty. We mourn and we move on. Our people deserve to
rest in peace. That is all.
As Galvatron continues killing Megatrons, she notices their
artificial “hearts” – thinking fast, she tears the heart out of
an attacking Megatron, and roughly implants it into her spark
chamber, flooding with energy. Far away, Necrocide notices her
slipping out of his control, and snarls. As Tetsuprima’s team
continue to be guided along by Rattlesoar, the Debt Collector
appears at the end of the corridor – she greets her puppets.

Episode 33 – Night of the Cat
Airdate: Saturday 17th October 2015
Synopsis: Swingback is sat in a medi-pod, with fluid medical
diagrams of her badly-injured leg stationed around her. As she
struggles to sleep, the Debt Collector talks to her from the end
of her bed, asking if her injury is really as serious as it
seems. Swingback asks if the stranger is mocking her, but the
mysterious bot instead claims that she can help her.
As Mirage’s team’s ship soars towards Earth, Prophecy is
strangely still in the bridge. The others are unsettled by her
demeanour, and Mirage speaks up, asking Prophecy what she can
tell them of the Debt Collector. After a pause, Prophecy
explains that she and the Debt Collector were friends when they
were younger. They both lived on Zefetraia. She soon trails off,
visibly shaken.
Prophecy: We were friends, way back when but only kind of…
Zefetraia is our home world. She was…
Ferros bemoans that everything they learn about the antagonist
makes them less aware of who she is, thought Swingback claims
that they all know one thing – she has appeared to each of them
before. As Hummingstreak, Freeline and Rattlesoar continue
racing through the Megatrons’ facility, they happen to bump
straight into Claws and Laserbeak. The trio are shocked, but
Claws tells them to stay calm. Rattlesoar questions why they
should, before tensing up in pain. The other members of the
Paradise Four are doing the same as the Debt Collector raises a
hand against them. Straight Aim goes to attack her, but she
simply telekinetically slams him into a wall, not even turning
her attention from the Paradise Four. Medusa begins to ask what
the villain’s intentions are, but Tetsuprima speaks up instead,
asking if she is their creator. Smiling, the feline bot tells
them that she is; Firegrowl asks why she gave them a singular
purpose, and she chuckles, asking if they really believed that
they were meant for anything more than that.
Debt Collector: Yes. I gave you life.
Firegrowl: You gave us more than life. You gave us a mission, a
purpose to fulfil. And we refuse it. So why? Why did you create
new life and then send us off like that?
Debt Collector: *chuckles* Did it never occur to you, Firegrowl,
that you only exist for that purpose? That you have no greater
meaning than the one programmed into your minds?
She elaborates that their existence served simply to crowd the
playing-field, and to provide another antagonist against the
Cybertronians to strengthen their unity. Wartiger solemnly
refuses to accept this – Rattlesoar, listening all the while,
begins to break down as Freeline insists that she is more than
someone else’s tool. The Debt Collector clarifies that the
existence of the Paradise Four is artificial, and that they have
failed their purpose. She clicks her fingers, and the four bots
vanish from existence.
More Megatrons approach Galvatron, but she does not attack,
instead asking why Necrocide would consider their world to be
hell. The Megatrons immediately stop, and begin laughing – one
explains that Necrocide is no doubt afraid of the iron might of
a true megalomaniac, when he has no followers and no body of his
own.
Megatron: That fool? Surely he is afraid? We are the unlimited
power of a true conqueror, and megalomaniac extraordinaire; he
has a stolen body, no followers and pitiful intentions of
sufferance and pain.
At this, Galvatron laughs too, and suggests they call her if
they ever need help in killing Necrocide. Though they state that
they need no help, she smirks as she departs to her ship.
Mirage’s team’s ship flies overhead as she does. Hummingstreak
and Freeline are stunned by Rattlesoar’s disappearance; Claws
tells them that they must leave quickly, taking their hands to
teleport away. However, they both immediately refuse, stating
that they must at least retrieve Ripple, Straight-Aim, Medusa
and the Dawn Katana. All the while, the Debt Collector releases
Straight-Aim from the wall, and congratulates the trio on making
it this far. Medusa asks the chained being who she is, and she
introduces herself – when the former Predacon asks whose debts
she collects, the villain assures her that her debts are owed to
many others, but not to her.
Medusa: Care to introduce yourself?
Debt Collector: If you insist… I am the Debt Collector.
Ripple: Oh, that’s not shady…
Medusa: Whose debts are you collecting?
Debt Collector: Relax. You have many, many debts, owed to so
many people… but none to me.
As Claws and Laserbeak lead Hummingstreak and Freeline towards
the others, they reach an invisible wall. The Felis Oculus
glows, and Claws recognises that it is a Zefetraian barrier. She
transforms, asking Freeline to do the same before heading
through the barrier – Hummingstreak attempts to follow in beast
mode too, but still cannot pass, even as Freeline tells him to
keep alert in case any Megatrons appear before following Claws.
The hummingbird-bot panics, flittering around crazily as
Laserbeak watches, before noticing the presence of multiple
Cybertronians within the facility. Patching through, he manages
to contact Mirage, and pleads with her to head to his location.
Mirage swiftly leads her team (minus Parallax) through the
facility – Megatrons attack from all fronts, with Ferros
blocking as much fire as he can and Andromeda using her
Fibonacci spiral to dissipate stray blasts. As the group reaches
Hummingstreak, Wildfire uses the Midnight Legacy crystal to
generate a shadow wall, blocking the Megatrons out.
Hummingstreak rapidly updates Mirage as to what has happened,
even as Prophecy heads through the barrier in beast mode.
Hummingstreak: Me and Ripple and Straight-Aim and Medusa and the
Dawn Katana somewhere and also Freeline and the Paradise Four
have been held captive here but then we tried to break out and
then someone appeared and she said she made the Paradise Four
and then they disappeared but there was this other bot and she
had this bird-bot here and she lead us this far but there’s a
barrier and only cat-bots can go past or something and there are
Megatrons everywhere obviously but thank Primus you’re here!
Ripple questions what the Debt Collector wants, but the sinister
bot snidely remarks that her intentions hold no meaning to the
Maximal. Claws speeds down the corridor, pouncing on the Debt
Collector from behind – the villain transforms into her own cat
mode, and two fight viciously. Freeline approaches Ripple,
Straight-Aim and Medusa, telling them that they have to leave,
only for Claws’ body to fly into her. Fatally wounded, she hands
Freeline the Felis Oculus and tells her to run as far as she
can, before dying. Prophecy appears at that moment, and the Debt
Collector growls – the two simply stare at each other, as
Freeline leads the others off. The Debt Collector asks
“Lightchild” if she knows what happened to their people, and
after correcting her to “Prophecy”, the crazed bot says that she
has been too busy.
Debt Collector: Lightchild… runaway. Have you any idea what has
happened to our kind?
Prophecy: First of all, my name is Prophecy, not Prophecy! Wait…
not Lightchild! Was Lightchild! But now I’m Prophecy! And I
don’t know what happened, I’ve been busy. Very busy!
The villain laughs in her face, and then claims that she has
been looking forward to their meeting… only for Prophecy to
teleport away. Parallax has teleported the team back onto their
ship, while Hummingstreak, Ripple, Straight-Aim, Medusa,
Freeline and Laserbeak are on the Dawn Katana. The ship’s A.I.
greets them. Mirage recaps that the Paradise Four were created
by the Debt Collector and have been destroyed. A message from
the villain then appears on the ship’s monitors, requesting that
Prophecy meet her on the planet Volshe. Both ships launch,
quickly leaving Earth, as tracking devices become apparent on
their hulls – a group of Megatrons smirk, stating that each
failure births a new chance at victory.

Episode 34 – Archaicons Falling
Airdate: Saturday 24th October 2015
Synopsis: In a dark alley connected to a bustling market, Scale
exits a shady-looking building. Downtrodden, he continues on his
way, only for a voice to call out to him from the other end of
the alley – he turns, and sees the Debt Collector, who asks him
if he still needs a contact to aid his burgeoning mercenary
work.
Kickback and Rapax are stood awkwardly outside of Dinobot’s
quarters – the commander approaches them, and informs them that
he has an important mission that they will need to carry out.
All the while, Scorpinax, Airazor, Sawblade, Toxiclaw,
Shockblast and Haywire are on a smaller ship, returning from a
brief excursion. Sawblade is talking with Haywire about her
previous attempt to take out Dinobot; she is apologetic, and he
insists that it is fine, as there was no guarantee that it would
work. As she heads off, Shockblast asks him if anyone ever sees
through his lies, and the Helicoprion-bot says that she will be
taken out once they return to Iustitia.
Shockblast: Impressive. Tell me, has anyone ever seen through
all of your lies and manipulation?
Sawblade: Once we’re on Iustitia… she’s dead. I’ll allow you the
honours.
New Cybertron rests on a desolate world – Unitus Prime and his
team stand in memory of those who have died on it. Scale asks
the leader what they shall do now, and Unitus remains silent.
Unnerved by this, Sickleclaw suggests they reach out to the
remaining Cybertronians, bring them together and make a
definitive strike against the ACL. When Umbraven asks why they
even need to confront the ACL, rather than moving on and living
in peace, Paladin points out that their enemies will not allow
them to.
Umbraven: No. Wait. Just wait… why do we need to fight? Why do
we have to attack the ACL, just because they want to attack us?
We should be able to leave and find somewhere to live in peace.
Paladin: We should be able to, but we can’t. The ACL won’t let
us – none of our enemies will. If we want to live in peace, we
have to fight for it.
Unitus finally speaks, asking Arcrise if she can create some
kind of signal to reach the other Cybertronians… only for the
phoenix bot to state that she cannot use her powers. The odd
feeling from before has grown, and now she has no access to any
of her abilities. The Archaicon ship returns to Iustitia, and
the team disembark – Sawblade and Shockblast share a glance, and
the former says that he shall go and inform the leader of how
the mission went. Shockblast keeps an eye on Haywire while
Sawblade heads off, barely able to contain his insane grin.
Reaching her quarters, Haywire shuts the door before resting
against it, evidently scared for her safety. As she gets her
breathing under control, she hears the whirr of a blaster
charging up – moving aside, she narrowly misses a powerful blast
that breaks down her door, along with the far wall of her
quarters. The panicked bot runs through the damaged wall, even
as Shockblast enters through the ruins of the door, calling out
to Haywire that she should have killed Dinobot while she had the
chance.
Shockblast: This is what happens, Haywire! You should’ve killed
Dinobot when you were ordered to… you failed. Now you pay for
it.
She responds by ensnaring him in barbed wire across the
blasted-open space, but he simply fires again, breaking the
wires and sending her scurrying for cover. Unitus’ team are
preparing a ship, the Trailblazer, to use – Quickpaw assures
Arcrise that she is not useless without her powers, and that
they do not define her. The phoenix-bot responds that she cannot
help in many other ways besides using her incredible abilities,
and adds that what concerns her most of all is how she lost
access to them. Sawblade enters Dinobot’s quarters, and reports
that their mission went well, though he cannot see the
importance in it. He begins to add that this is true of much of
Dinobot’s leadership, only for the Utahraptor-bot to silence
him. The leader claims to know what Sawblade is up to, although
the right-hand bot states that he has no idea.
Dinobot: I know what you’re planning, Sawblade. I know what
you’ve done.
Sawblade: Oh, Dinobot… you really, really don’t.
The door of the quarters shuts and locks, surprising Sawblade,
but the psychopath quickly shrugs it off. Turning back to
Dinobot, he finds that the leader has drawn his Horizon Saber –
he slices in Sawblade’s direction, but the Helicoprion-bot
dodges the blow, and activates his chainsaw, striking the sword
and damaging it (though not breaking it). The sinister bot then
taunts his supposed-commander, offering to tell him the truth of
the Archaicons and of Dinobot.
Scorpinax is in a computer room – the blinded Mixopterus-bot
manages to remove Sawblade and Shockblast from all public
communication frequencies, and then sends a message to Haywire,
telling her to head to a specific batch of coordinates on the
ship. The fembot okays this, while still doing her best to avoid
Shockblast’s continual fire. As Dinobot and Sawblade continue to
duel, the shorter bot explains that when he joined, he
immediately recognised that Lacerator was influencing the
leader, pushing him to be more proactive and militant. He found
the idea of that kind of influence delectable, and disposed of
her specifically to take her place. As Dinobot snarls in
frustration, Sawblade confirms that the Archaicons are where
they are now because of him. He understands that Dinobot’s
original intention was a faction who would oppose the
Cybertronian conflict… and now all Dinobot wants to do is kill
everyone who disagrees with him.
Dinobot: You…
Sawblade: That’s right. Yes, yes! That look on your face, that’s
it! That powerlessness. You’ve realised how little you matter.
Everything the Archaicons have done, all they’ve achieved, comes
down to me. Me and my influence on you. I’m the making of you.
Actually… that’s something. I’ve heard all about what you wanted
of this faction in the early days. Before me, before Lacerator,
when it was you picking up rebels from backwater colonies. Back
when you were nothing… you wanted to make a faction opposed to
the constant war amongst Primus’ children, didn’t you? Can you
remember that? Because it’s not who you are now. You’d kill
anyone who disagrees with your view of the world. And the
funniest thing – I’ve gone nights without sleep just laughing at
this – you still call it honour. You have no idea how pathetic
you look.
The realisation hits Dinobot hard. Haywire scurries down a
corridor as multiple blasts burst across; she narrowly misses
each one, before Shockblast appears down an adjacent corridor as
connecting hall appears. The fembot continues on, into a large
chamber, and Shockblast follows her, cackling madly… only for
Haywire to be teleported away. The hulking bot is left confused,
before the chamber – himself included – begins to glow. Sawblade
cackles madly at Dinobot all the while, lording his utter
control over the faction. Distracted by his own psychosis, he is
suddenly impaled through the chest by the Horizon Saber: Dinobot
continues the momentum, pinning the maniac to the wall. The
Archaicon founder tells Sawblade that if he wants the ship so
much, he and his follower can have it. He brings up security
footage of the chamber with Shockblast, states that he has
removed the ship’s safety protocols, and tells Sawblade to rot
in the Pit as he teleports away.
Dinobot: Shockblast is in the statocharge chamber. The safety
protocols – the thing that kept Iudicium from blowing up while
we were there – are well and truly off. Rot in the Pit, you
venomous pile of slag.
Sawblade screams in fury as Shockblast, the chamber and the
entirety of Iustitia explodes. The Archaicons watch on from a
smaller ship, before turning to Dinobot, asking what now. The
leader states that the faction has been a mistake… and disbands
the Archaicons.

Episode 35 – Like a Bullet
Airdate: Saturday 31st October 2015
Synopsis: Ra, centuries ago. Kendrills are attacking far and
wide, with soldiers doing their best to fight the cyborg
creatures off. As pharaoh Mirage tries to coordinate her
followers, the Debt Collector appears – the mysterious fembot
offers to provide a level of defence against the Kendrills, to
keep Mirage’s people safe.
In the bustling spaceport of a small planet called Volshe,
Mirage leads her team through busy crowds and towards the exit.
An open plaza greets them as they leave, and Wildfire asks
Mirage what the Debt Collector helped her with before; the team
leader states that she helped her protect something that
mattered greatly to her. All the while, Ferros asks Prophecy if
she can sense the Debt Collector, but the crazed bot points out
that she never can, simply jumping quizzically instead.
Ferros: So, Prophecy, you able to… I don’t know, get a lock on
the Debt Collector or something?
Prophecy: Nope! Never sensed her before now, just can’t do it!
The elephant-bot then suggests that they split up to search, but
Andromeda questions the wisdom of it, noting that the villain
could easily overpower them individually. Mirage agrees with
this, saying that they need to remain together, but Ferros asks
how they intend to find the villain, and how they can be sure
that they have not walked into a trap. Swingback suggests that
he calm down, as they at least know to expect the villain so she
has no element of surprise. At this, Parallax notes that they
should make sure to be vigilant… before freezing up. When asked,
he states that there are Megatrons nearby.
Andromeda: Huh? You okay, Parallax?
Parallax: Megatrons. There are Megatrons here, somewhere,
nearby.
Not too far away, a large group of Megatrons is attempting to
track the Debt Collector, though they are getting no results
from their various detection and tracing methods. They discuss
amongst themselves what power the mysterious bot may hold, and
how much of a problem she may be to their plans. They then move
on to discussing the Cybertronians… and agree that the best plan
of action is to kill them here. Wildfire and Andromeda asks
Parallax if he knows what the Megatrons are up to – after all,
he should be connected to their network – but he explains that
he was disconnected from it as part of his arrangement with the
Debt Collector. Prophecy suddenly begins to head off, beckoning
for the others to follow, and Mirage suggests they trust her,
leading the group on.
Prophecy quickly leads the Cybertronians to another bustling
location, a mag-train station. Wildfire looks at a nearby map,
which shows a complex network of rails that criss-cross the
planet.
Wildfire: Huh… check this out!
*Andromeda joins him*
Andromeda: What’ve you found?
Wildfire: A map of the rail network… for a small planet, that’s
a lot of railways! How many do they even need, right?
As the Maximals gradually begin to spread out across the
station, they become aware of the various Megatrons amongst the
crowds. Mirage discretely guides the others into tactical
positions, just as the Megatrons attack. The crowds are panicked
and disperse, as the Cybertronians battle against their
attackers – Mirage leads hers onto one of the trains, brawling
with him in the carriage just as the vehicle begins moving.
Before any of the others can recover her, the mag-train blasts
off at high speed. Parallax is trying desperately to evade the
Megatron attacking him, but the villain simply taunts the
turncoat clone, stating that he cannot hide from his true
nature.
Megatron: Try as you might, One Billion, you can’t escape from
who you are. You’re one of us. It runs through you. Megatron is
your true nature!
The Megatron is suddenly knocked down as another Megatron flies
into him – Ferros has thrown him across the station. Swingback
uses her athletic ability to outpace her opponent Megatron,
though he eventually manages to pin her to the ground. As he
charges up his weaponry, armed forces enter the station. Both
Cybertronians and Megatrons face arrest, and while the former do
their best to slip away, the villain clones turn their fire
towards the alien soldiers instead. Mirage and her Megatron
continue fighting on the train, moving through carriages and
disrupting the passengers. The jackal-bot clambers up onto the
roof of the train, with Megatron following… only for Mirage to
vanish, merely an illusion. The real Mirage attacks Megatron
from behind, and the two continue to brawl viciously on the
roofs of the carriages, even as they struggle against the sheer
force of the mag-train’s movement.
Swingback and Parallax manage to find an abandoned warehouse,
and contact the others via Hope Brace to teleport in. As
Wildfire, Andromeda and Ferros gather, Swingback tries to direct
Prophecy to meet them.
Swingback: Prophecy? We need you to meet us here… uhm, head down
the street with the big blue building and- are you listening?
Prophecy…?
The Aadorean wildcat-bot is strolling through the city all the
while – noticing another railway map, she tilts her head, before
getting down and pressing her ear to the ground. Mirage and her
Megatron continue their fight, moving towards the front of the
mag-train; the Cybertronian eventually manages to topple her
opponent off and directly under the train, and heads back,
entering the carriage that she exited. As she prepares to
teleport out, Megatron bursts through the floor, extremely
damaged. Mirage immediately kicks him, before grappling him and
bringing his head down to the tracks below until his head
scrapes away, causing a large pulse of energy which surprises
her. As the others start to worry about Mirage not contacting
her, she teleports in – viewing the group, she immediately asks
where Prophecy is. Parallax speaks up instead, asking why the
Debt Collector would bring them here if she evidently had no
intention of meeting them. Prophecy responds at that point – she
wanted to give them a hint. She adds that the planet’s gravity
seems normal despite its tiny size.
Prophecy: Also, also, didn’t any of you notice? The planet’s
gravity – it’s totally normal!
Ferros: Failing to see the news there…
Prophecy: The gravity’s normal, but the planet is teeny-tiny! We
should be bouncing around, but we’re not!
Andromeda immediately clocks that Volshe is artificial, even as
Prophecy gets down on the floor again. She begins speaking to
something, and Mirage suggests that the planet was built to
contain a creature or entity. Ferros goes to dismiss this, but
Swingback suggests that the rail network is what keeps the
captive imprisoned. As we see the surviving Megatrons
retreating, Mirage concludes that the Debt Collector’s hint is
that she is going to imprison someone or something… and
elsewhere, the mysterious fembot handles an intricate device,
smirking to herself.

Episode 36 – The Matrix Cage
Airdate: Saturday 7th November 2015
Synopsis: Quickpaw is working on a stall at a small market,
trying to sell hand-made electronic devices. Despairing at the
lack of customers, she is surprised by the Debt Collector’s
sudden appearance. The chained-wearing fembot tells Quickpaw
that her skills could be better used elsewhere, and she could
earn more than enough to support the bot she cares about the
most.
The Dawn Katana is flying through space – on board, Medusa is
sat contemplatively in her quarters, while Hummingstreak,
Ripple, Straight-Aim, Freeline and Laserbeak are in the bridge,
discussing why the Vok could have sent them (minus Freeline and
Laserbeak) to Audel in the first place. Before they can ponder
this too much, they receive communications from the Trailblazer
– Unitus Prime requests that they meet up on a planet called
Hedrovex, located nearby.
Unitus Prime: Hello. This is Unitus Prime-
Quickpaw: And Team Prime! Should we call ourselves that?
Umbraven: Should you really be interrupting?
Quickpaw: Oh, fair point. Sorry!
Unitus Prime: - requesting a rendezvous on the planet Hedrovex.
That’s pretty close to where you are, Dawn Katana.
The message is also going out to Mirage’s team, and Mirage
passes on the message that the Debt Collector seems to be
planning on trapping or imprisoning someone. Scale suggests that
this could be Arcrise, with her powers locked away. Unitus
suggests that they remain alert nonetheless, and Hummingstreak
asks what they shall be doing there, and the Prime’s face goes
dark; Paladin and Arcrise explain that everyone on New Cybertron
except for them died due to the ACL. They are headed to Hedrovex
to bring the rest of the Cybertronian race together. Elsewhere,
the Archaicon ship lands down on the outskirts of a city:
Dinobot steps out, telling his former followers that they can do
as they please, but that he is no longer their leader. There is
general confusion and some level of resistance, but the
Utahraptor-bot continues on his way nonetheless. Airazor
suggests that he take up the role of leader, which meets a
general air of disinterest.
Airazor: Well, looks like it’s finally my time to shine! Airazor
for the new leader of the
whatever-we’re-going-to-call-this-faction-now! I had the name
“Betterbots” in mind before! Had an insignia and everything!
Anyone up for it? Anyone…?
Disgruntled, Toxiclaw states that Dinobot has abandoned them
with no goal or sense of purpose, but Airazor insists that they
still need to defy the old ways of thinking and the
faction-driven war. Kickback asks if those ways even exist now
that the Cybertronian race is on its last legs, leaving Airazor
uncertain. Some of the Archaicons start to leave the ship.
Unitus Prime’s team has already arrived on Hedrovex, an
abandoned, technologically-advanced world. Passing by automated
guard systems, the group heads through several unusual
constructs – Quickpaw speaks up, and asks if this plan is really
a good idea. With the ACL capable of killing Cybertronians
en-masse, bringing all of them together simply makes them an
easier target. Unitus states that they shall be using the brute
force of the united Cybertronian race to bring the ACL to its
knees – if they do not use all of their strength to bring their
enemy down unilaterally, they will always pose a threat.
Unitus Prime: I know. It’s a huge risk, but it’s a risk we have
to take. All of us together, every Cybertronian united, should
be enough to end the ACL. At least, I hope it is… we need to
bring an end to them, soon, and we need to do it definitively…
or else they’ll always come back to haunt us.
The Dawn Katana lands down nearby, and the crew exits, joining
Unitus’ team. They quickly recap their time at the hands of the
Megatrons, and the revelation that the Debt Collector created
the Paradise Four. Scale, Quickpaw and Umbraven are surprised by
this, while Arcrise flinches in pain and clutches her head.
Sickleclaw goes to tend to her, while Unitus watches in concern.
Laserbeak is the first to notice the Debt Collector stood
on-high – the villain leaps down, joining her fellow
Cybertronians, and explains that Arcrise’s powers are locked
away because of her. She interfered in the creation of the
Arcrise Machine in timeline a, and even influenced the creation
of timeline b via the Machine, including implementing the
Paradise Box in place of the Quantum Reset Button on Fothai.
Debt Collector: Way back when, in timeline a, the Arcrise
Machine was being constructed by Megatron’s forces… and I
happened to find my way in. Lax security, incredible powers,
take your pick. I tied myself to the most powerful machine ever
to exist. And now that machine is a being, I have the same
connection. *turns to Arcrise* I can’t control your mind, your
personality – the parts of you that you owe to Illyiara – but
your powers are at my mercy. And of course, when you – the
Machine – built this new timeline, I… I meddled. I influenced
the act, put my own conditions into everything… that includes
the Paradise Box on Fothai. Who needs a Quantum Reset Button? My
lovely box and its contents… now, those are real toys.
Unitus demands to know why, and the Debt Collector remarks that
she finds it best to have total control over the playing field.
Smirking, she hurls the intricate device at Unitus, even as
Arcrise leaps over in an attempt to save him. The two instantly
vanish as soon as the device makes contact.
Stunned, Unitus Prime and Arcrise realise that they are trapped
in a black, empty void. The Prime scolds Arcrise for jumping in
the way, before a slight smile develops on his face and he
thanks her for her concern. Gradually, faint voices and imagery
develop – the two overhear the Debt Collector explaining that
she has trapped Unitus in a Matrix Cage, a prison that holds and
weakens Primes. Ripple questions why such a thing even exists,
and the Debt Collector notes that it was created by the
Conglomeration, with the intention of using it on Emberscales
Prime.
Ripple: Who builds a Prime-specific prison?
Debt Collector: The Conglomeration. Back in their early days,
when they felt that taking Emberscales Prime out of the picture
would give them an edge. Then they abandoned it, and, well…
waste not, want not.
She then turns her back on the assembled bots, and begins to
remotely activate the technology of the planet. Turning to Noxa,
she asks him how his shell research has gone, before adding that
she hopes they can support a cross-universal teleportation hook.
Hundreds of threads of light reach out from the planet,
spreading across reality and connecting to the shells of every
Cybertronian. The villain then states that she will be waiting
for when they need her, before teleporting away. Mere moments
later, Mirage’s team joins the group, and the coyote-bot
immediately asks where Unitus is. All the while, the ACL citadel
is still being repaired after Quickpaw’s explosives – Talenra
and Giaseqen are discussing their apparent success in killing
off a number of Cybertronians, and their latest technological
advance. Nosk’yra contacts the two, and informs them that the
plan shall be pushed forward, to commence immediately. When
Giaseqen asks why, Nosk’yra explains that the Cybertronian race
is beginning to move as a collective towards this universe.
Giaseqen: Immediately? We don’t know yet if it will have any
affect across universal boundaries…
Nosk’yra: That’s no longer a concern. The Cybertronian race
seems to be heading to Universe 1… all together. A gathering.
Our opportunity is now.
On Hedrovex, dozens upon dozens of Cybertronians are teleporting
in, clutching onto their shells all the while. Amongst our
gathered heroes, Mirage puts herself in temporary charge, as
Unitus and Arcrise watch on and the remaining Cybertronians
steadily gather together.

Episode 37 – Turning Tides
Airdate: Saturday 14th November 2015
Synopsis: The familiar, perfect beach that is Valyssia greets
us, before Andromeda teleports in, collapsing onto the sand. The
Debt Collector teleports in a moment later, and assures the
confused Andromeda that the greatest treasure in existence is
indeed here. As Andromeda gets to her feet to begin searching,
she does not notice the Fibonacci spiral that has developed on
her left palm.
The gigantic structures on Hedrovex are now flooded with
Cybertronians – Quickpaw is anxious to find her “sister”, while
Mirage reaches the top of a large outcrop, visible across the
area. Utilising Uproar’s sound Legacy crystal, she projects her
voice loudly and clearly, as she explains the situation facing
their race in brief terms.
Mirage: My fellow Cybertronians! My name is Mirage, and I’m one
of the Final Thirteen. I don’t have much time to explain. You’ve
been brought here by… the will of Unitus Prime. There is an
organisation called the Anti-Cybertronian League, whose
unilateral aim is to wipe us from existence. They have already
killed off hundreds of our kind. We must stand together, and act
against them. I ask you now to join us in confronting the
Anti-Cybertronian League, and bringing them down before they can
do us any more harm.
Umbraven is still unsure if they should bring so many bots –
many of whom could be civilians – into the conflict, but she
assures Paladin with a forced smile that she knows this is
necessary. Mirage then calls out to Andromeda, stating that she
has a plan. Giaseqen and Talenra are both preparing their latest
bioweapon and the final decisive strike on the Cybertronian
race, when a loud siren begins. Confused, Giaseqen brings up a
monitor… to discover almost the entire remaining Cybertronian
race, gathered outside the citadel. Andromeda collapses into
Wildfire’s arm, her Fibonacci spiral glowing, while Mirage
orders the Cybertronians to storm the citadel and bring the ACL
down. Talenra prepares his own forces, unable to hide his smirk,
while Giaseqen replots the “honey traps”. Nosk’yra watches on
via his computer systems, surprised by the ingenuity of the
Cybertronians.
Nosk’yra: Hm. Those clever, clever Cybertronians… pre-empting an
attack by acting first. A shame it won’t be enough…
Dinobot is approaching a location known as the Temple of
Solitude, only to find that Galvatron is already there,
attempting and failing to meditate. The two are surprised to see
one another; Galvatron bitterly congratulates him on using her
weapon to indirectly bring about the downfall of the
Cybertronian race. Dinobot grimly ignores her remark, and asks
how she is alive again – she explains Necrocide’s attempt to use
her as a puppet, and her stealing a Megatron’s heart to use in
place of her expired spark. The Utahraptor-bot notes that he
knows all too well what it feels like to be used by someone
else.
The ACL citadel is steadily blasted apart as the Cybertronians
attack it en masse. Talenra leads the entirety of the ACL’s
military forces against them, with the Thirteen doing their best
to lead and defend their race (and utilising the Legacy crystals
to do so). All the while, the Dawn Katana heads at speed from
Hedrovex to the ACL citadel – Straight-Aim ponders if it was
really necessary to have them travel by ship (the A.I. points
out that Hedrovex’s technology could only teleport living
beings, and that would mean abandoning him, their loyal ship),
and Medusa suggests it is simply punishment for her constant
treacherous acts towards the Cybertronian race. Allying herself
with Megatron, freeing Necrocide, granting him a new body,
preserving his existence through the near-extinction… the
Thirteen simply wish her to be kept away from the others. Ripple
questions if the viper-bot has finally realised how selfish she
is, and Medusa snaps that her attempts at self-preservation are
not a bad thing.
Ripple: What? Has it struck you just how selfish you are?
Medusa: Nature thrives on self-preservation. Don’t act like my
trying to survive is a bad thing in and of itself.
Freeline posits that many would feel she does not deserve to
live. The battle continues outside and within the ACL citadel,
as many Cybertronians being to fall against the ACL’s gauntlets
and other technologies. Mirage continues to lead them on, as
Unitus Prime and Arcrise watch on from the Matrix Cage. The
Prime states that he feels useless, and being unable to lead the
Cybertronians makes him more afraid for them; Arcrise assures
him that they are winning right now, and that he has to trust
his fellow Thirteen. At that moment, Unitus notices a strange
flower-like shape developing nearby, with more sprouting all
around the land outside the citadel. As if a switch has been
flicked, the Cybertronians near the flowers stop fighting.
Dinobot is explaining the Archaicons and Sawblade’s
manipulation, when one of the flowers sprouts nearby; the solemn
bot stops talking, and is inexplicably drawn towards the object.
Immediately noticing strangeness of this behaviour, she
intercepts him, and tries to keep him back from the flower even
as he struggles against her.
Dinobot: Unhand me! I must touch it! I have to reach it!
Intrigued, she drags him off. On the battlefield, others are not
so lucky – multiple Cybertronians approach and touch the
flowers, only to immediately keel over, dead. The Thirteen
notice, stunned – Talenra tauntingly explains that they are
honey traps, and like their gauntlets, they instantly kill
Cybertronians… but they also draw them in. Any being with a
Primus-given spark should be unable to resist. Noxa immediately
assures the others that their Hope Braces should spare them, and
Mirage orders them to destroy the honey traps while the
Cybertronians continue fighting on. Swingback contacts the Dawn
Katana all the while, warning them not to land down when they
arrive, but circle the area and attack from above.
Swingback: Come in, come in, Dawn Katana!
Straight-Aim: We read you, loud and-
Hummingstreak: Clear!
Straight-Aim: Thank you, Hummingstreak…
Swingback: Listen, when you reach the citadel, do not land.
Circle the area, fire on ACL troops and the flower-looking
things below. If you get close to the flowers, they will kill
you.
Ripple: Remember when our lives didn’t involve sentences like
that?
Straight-Aim confirms this, while Medusa is sat by herself, brow
furrowed. More and more Cybertronians are dying upon touching a
honey trap, and the Thirteen are finding them impossible to
damage, especially with Cybertronians crowding them. Talenra and
Giaseqen jointly remark that this is the final end of the
Cybertronian race. Dinobot finally comes to his senses as
Galvatron pilots her ship away from the Temple of Solitude… all
while Necrocide arrives at the location, looking around and
remarking that he can smell Galvatron’s recent presence. The
Archaicons, still together, are bickering amongst themselves
when, almost in-sync, they notice a honey trap ahead of them,
and begin to approach it.

Episode 38 – Goodnight, and Primus-Bless
Airdate: Saturday 21st November 2015
Synopsis: Sat alone in a small, broken-down house, Sickleclaw is
visibly shaken and clutching a Maximal insignia to her chest.
The Debt Collector approaches her – the younger bot is shocked,
and demands to know how the mysterious intruder got into her
house. Instead, the Debt Collector offers Sickleclaw whatever
she wishes.
More and more Cybertronian bodies are littering the grounds
outside the ACL citadel, as Talenra cackles insanely and mocks
those still alive. Increasingly bitter, Mirage orders the
Thirteen to instead attempt to keep the Cybertronians back from
the honey traps. Prophecy shudders, unseen by the others. The
efforts to keep the other Cybertronians back fails quickly, as
their sheer numbers overwhelm our heroes. All the while, as the
bots on the Dawn Katana try to plan their next step, a honey
trap sprouts in the bridge. As the bots notice, they quickly
hurry out of the bridge, making sure to avoid the strange
“flower” – Freeline, the last out, tells the ship’s A.I. to keep
their course and circle the citadel as requested. Within the
citadel, Giaseqen reports to Nosk’yra that the honey traps are
blooming wherever Cybertronian sparks are, and shall inevitably
wipe out the entire species.
Giaseqen: Plan is going ahead and meeting all objectives. We
have honey traps wherever there are Cybertronians. Wherever
their sparks pulse, we can reach them. Congratulations, Nosk’yra
– we’ve reached the end of our goals. They’re all as good as
dead.
The official leader of the ACL gives a bittersweet smile,
observing that it is a shame that genocide was needed to bring
peace to reality. Confused by this, Giaseqen states that the
death of all Cybertronians is just a blip in the face of every
living being, but Nosk’yra reminds her that every life is
precious. The Thirteen continue their desperate attempts to save
their fellow Cybertronians, while Talenra’s forces prepare their
most diabolical weaponry. The crazed alien explains that his
family and his home were murdered by Cybertronians, and this is
his ultimate revenge.
Talenra: You see, your kind… they took everything from me. My
family, and my friends, and my home. Everything was burnt down
to the ground. And I’ve trained, every single day, and prepared,
for this moment. Your ultimate death, every last one of you. My
revenge, and the revenge of everyone ever hurt by your kind, is
now.
The Thirteen and Prophecy are the only ones left capable of
fighting… and they shall fall too. A rocket launcher is fired –
its weaponry immediately strikes Ferros, and it kills him
instantly. Our heroes are stunned, and Mirage orders that they
fight back. Unitus Prime and Arcrise watch on from the Matrix
cage all the while, devastated.
Dinobot and Galvatron travel in the latter’s ship – they
discuss the honey trap that they witnessed, with Dinobot swiftly
deducing that they are of ACL origin. Disturbed by their
apparent effect, the larger bot suggests they investigate.
However, Dinobot is uncertain if they should interfere, positing
instead that perhaps it is time that their race died.
Dinobot: Perhaps… perhaps it is time we faced the end? All we do
is wage war and bring chaos. The ACL may be correct. Perhaps our
time is over…
Galvatron chooses to ignore this, and locates the ACL citadel,
piloting towards it. Talenra’s forces continue to attack the
Thirteen, scattering them across the space littered with
Cybertronian corpses. Umbraven attempts to fight back feebly,
but is slayed in no time at all. Witnessing this, Quickpaw
attempts to attack those warriors, only for them to fight back
with their gauntlets, killing her swiftly. Scale, too, is
quickly dispatched of, overwhelmed by ACL soldiers hooks holding
him in-place. Wildfire and Andromeda desperately fight
back-to-back, only to be hit by gauntlet-garbed fists and die.
Unitus slams in fury against the walls of the Matrix cage,
yelling out that this is not what should happen and that he has
to intervene. The Dawn Katana continues on its journey, almost
at the citadel – the group aboard state their agreement with the
plan, although Medusa seems hesitant. Freeline leads her aside,
and has Laserbeak bite her neck. The snake-bot is confused, and
Freeline explains that Laserbeak has passed on vital
information… Medusa’s survival instinct will see this
information further than anyone else could.
Medusa: Are you so petty that you have your bird bite me…?
Freeline: No. Obviously not. He’s been carrying information,
something very important. So, so important… and we’re not going
to make it out of this, not even me, so, well, I’m passing it on
to you. You survive, no matter what. If anyone’s going to be
able to keep this information safe… well, it’ll be you.
Though Medusa is unconvinced, Freeline has her touch the bite,
unveiling the information to her. Stunned, and finally
understanding, Medusa thanks Freeline and the cat-bot responds
in kind. She then heads off to the escape capsule, while
Freeline returns to the others, stating that Medusa has an
important errand to run. Hummingstreak and Ripple dismiss it as
Medusa’s selfishness, but Freeline states that Medusa may yet be
a hero.
Trying to evade the ACL technology, stating that he knows
exactly how it works, Noxa is nevertheless killed by ACL
soldiers. Prophecy drives her way through the surrounding ACL
soldiers, tearing through them with energy weapons while in
tears, before finally being remotely struck down. Paladin’s
swords are shattered; sharing a glance with Swingback, he
focuses as best as he can and summons Cross-Shot’s psionic bow.
Even this proves futile, as the two are killed swiftly. Parallax
boasts that he is not Cybertronian and cannot be killed, but the
soldiers simply decapitate him. As Sickleclaw desperately
attempts to get the Omniconfigurator working as Talenra
approaches her, taunting her that her race shall finally be
purged… before Dinobot impales him through the chest with an ACL
sword. Sickleclaw is shaken, and questions why Dinobot is here,
now. The saurian bot states that the Archaicons are no more, but
before he can continue, his former protégé spits that his attack
on Talenra was without any honour and he has not learnt
anything, stunning him.
Dinobot: To investigate… to help you. The Archaicons are no
more. I understand what was done to me-
Sickleclaw: Liar! Where the slag is your honour? Where’s
everything you taught me? What makes you any different from
someone like the monster you just killed?
She then begs him to help, just as another ACL soldier kills
her. Angered, Dinobot takes out the soldier, as Galvatron joins
him. They observe only one Cybertronian left in the area –
Mirage, heavily beaten and visibly weak with her spark chamber
wide open, but still fighting against ACL soldiers. Galvatron
blasts Mirage’s attackers away, just as the Dawn Katana streaks
through the sky at high-speed. The ship slams into the ACL
citadel, causing an immense explosion – Dinobot only manages to
protect himself and Galvatron with the Omniconfigurator while
Mirage is sent flying. We see images of the scattered dead
across the universe – including the Archaicons – until the
explosion clears. Mirage is barely alive, choking on the dust,
before a gauntlet repeatedly slams into her spark, over and over
until it finally ceases to be. The Debt Collector smirks down at
the body, stating that there can be no survivors.
Debt Collector: Shhh, my sweet. No one has to know that you
survived the ACL. I won’t allow anyone to live.

Episode 39 – Other Versions
Airdate: Saturday 28th November 2015
Synopsis: A young, buzzy-voiced Waspinator is sat in a shady
Predacon bar, circa the late 2200s in timeline a. The Debt
Collector sits opposite him, startling him – she tells him that
there is someone named Megatron who is recruiting a team for an
important mission. Waspinator asks why this should matter to
him, and the Debt Collector smiles, stating that she believes
that he should put himself forward for it.
Unitus Prime and Arcrise are silent within the Matrix cage,
mourning the Cybertronian race – suddenly, the “walls” of the
cage falter, and the two find themselves in reality again.
Dinobot and Galvatron are surprised by their sudden appearance,
and Unitus immediately charges Dinobot, punching him (the
saurian bot does not fight back) and asking in blind fury why he
turned his back on their race and let them all die. Dinobot
finally catches his old friend’s fist, and explains that he has
realised his own mistakes and how his good intentions were
hijacked by others.
Dinobot: Stop. I understand. You’re right… I’ve made mistakes.
Plenty of them, in fact. I left your side with the best of
intentions, only for those who felt they knew better – or wanted
worse – to hijack those intentions and pervert them. I have made
mistakes, and I am seeking my penance.
He then again posits his idea that the Cybertronian race has had
its time, but Unitus outright refuses the thought, stating that
these twilight days had given their people common ground.
Galvatron steps in, suggesting that no one race will ever be
without conflict, and that their low numbers would have
prevented anything like the Total Conflict. She then informs
Unitus of the basics of her resurrection, while Necrocide
watches things from her perspective without her knowing. The
Prime states that it is bots like her – and Dinobot – who bring
out the conflict in their race; Dinobot states that it is a
mind-set like that which fans the flames.
Unitus Prime: I don’t want to hear anything from you. I don’t
need to listen to someone like you. It’s your kind – people like
you… *turns to Dinobot* and like you… that turn our race on
itself. It’s your discontent!
Dinobot: And then our discontent is discouraged and spurned by
people like you. If we light the fuse of war, then it is those
who stand affixed to a preconceived notion of justice that fan
the flames.
Arcrise is tending to the fallen in the meantime, trying her
best to leave them in a respectful manner. Noticing this,
Dinobot uses the Omniconfigurator to scan the area, stating that
there are five life signals in the immediate vicinity. Confused,
the group soon notices the Debt Collector sat amongst the rubble
of the ACL citadel, with the broken bodies of Giaseqen and
Nosk’yra on other side of her. She gently applauds the group,
informing them that they – or at least Unitus and Dinobot – are
two of the only remaining Cybertronians. Suddenly frowning, she
attempts to strike Dinobot down, but he uses the
Omniconfigurator to block her attack. The villainess then shrugs
and chuckles, reasoning that Unitus’ enemy being alive makes no
real difference.
The escape capsule of the Dawn Katana makes a rough landing in
an alien plain. Medusa steps out, a little shaken up and cursing
the capsule’s limited controls. Uncertain of what to do next,
she begins heading across the plain, not noticing at first that
Vok are materialising. Eventually realising their presence, she
continues on her way and simply asks what they want. One of them
addresses her, stating that she has survived this far and has
become their final emissary. Stopping, she turns, and asks if
the journey that they set her and the others on was intended to
result in her gaining the vital information that Laserbeak gave
her.
Medusa: Wait. Weeks ago, you appeared to us on the Dawn Katana.
You told us to go to Audel… which got us infected, leading us to
Earth, where we met Freeline… and Laserbeak… and now I’m here,
still alive, with this information buried deep in my neck. That
was what you wanted, wasn’t it? You didn’t just send us to
Audel, you sent me on a path to here, now, with this info.
The Vok confirms this in somewhat vague terms, and explains that
they act in favour of reality. However, the next step for Medusa
may prove to be the most challenging yet. The Debt Collector
joins Unitus Prime, Arcrise, Dinobot and Galvatron in the midst
of Cybertronian and ACL corpses. She begins talking about the
Dawn Katana, which confuses Unitus – he points out that she has
never been in the ship, and she corrects him, stating that she
has entered it before. After reminding Waspinator of their deal,
long ago, she explains that she has brokered deals with many
bots... including Buzzstreak.
Debt Collector: You and I made a deal, long ago. I’m sure you
remember… that seedy bar with its grimy walls, that stench of
crude oil. I told you about Megatron’s team and you promised
recompense.
Unitus Prime: And I’ve come a very long way since. I’m not about
to bow down to your contract.
Debt Collector: Oh, Unitus… This isn’t about you. Well, it is, I
suppose… you, and all those others I’ve brokered deals with. The
other members of the Thirteen, for one; and they’re certainly
the most important. Although… there’s Buzzstreak, too.
Unitus' eyes widen, as the chain-strewn bot talks of the night
Buzzstreak committed suicide and her own arrival on the ship.
She visited the young bee-bot and made a deal with her. The Debt
Collector then brings out an intricate, advanced stopwatch, with
two buttons, one pressed down – her Quantum Stopwatch. It
operates on the same principles of the many worlds theory. It
was handed to Buzzstreak before she made her decision. When she
decided to take her own life, she pressed the one button… but in
another timeline, she would have chosen to live, and pushed the
other button. Rather than two separate universes, the Quantum
Stopwatch bound the two possibilities together. In short,
pressing the other button shall trade this world for one where
Buzzstreak lived… and the Cybertronian race shall live again.
Stunned, Unitus Prime asks if this would undo the
near-extinction; the Debt Collector states that she does not
want to reveal too much, but the near-extinction would still
have occurred. She adds that, naturally, flipping the timeline
would alter not just Universe 1, but the entire multiverse.
Arcrise is quick to realise that the Debt Collector brought
about this battle to push Unitus towards switching timelines. To
press the button and incite a timeline c would be to play into
her plans. The villain applauds Arcrise’s deduction, and hands
Unitus the Quantum Stopwatch, pointing out that he will have to
do just that if he wants a second try at saving his people.
Arcrise: Unitus, wait.
Unitus Prime: What is it?
Arcrise: This is her plan. All of this death… she wants you to
switch timelines. If you do that, and make… timeline c, or
whatever you want to call it, then you’re doing exactly what she
wants.
Debt Collector: Well done, Arcrise! So intuitive. She’s right,
Unitus.
*she places the Quantum Stopwatch into his hands*
Debt Collector: I made little ripples along the way, built up
this battle so that everyone would lose… most especially you. If
you want another chance… if you want to bring your people back
and try to give them a happy ending… then yes, you’ll be helping
me too. Let’s help each other, Waspinator.
She then teleports away. Arcrise and Dinobot immediately ask
Unitus what he plans to do, but Galvatron tells him that he
should press the button. She reasons that their race means too
much to sacrifice in an attempt to defeat the Debt Collector,
and further, that they can unite in order to defeat her in the
new timeline. After some thought, Unitus solemnly agrees, but
Dinobot asks him to wait a moment. He leads Galvatron aside,
transforming the Omniconfigurator and handing it to her. He
tells her that it shall allow her to appear in the new timeline
at an earlier point, and that he would like her to kill
Lacerator and Sawblade before they lead him astray. Galvatron
agrees to this, while, watching from the Temple of Solitude,
Necrocide smirks, muttering that he shall follow his “disciple”
wherever she leads him.
Galvatron: Of course. I live to save people from the dark… no
matter what their darkness is.
*Necrocide opens his eyes elsewhere*
Necrocide: Ah, my disciple… take me to our new destination. And
let’s see you save people from the darkness I spread…
In a deep cavern, Medusa confronts a swirling vortex of
near-blinding light. Although she is hesitant, the Vok insist
that she must enter it. Megatrons on Earth are celebrating the
apparent victory of the ACL, and one Megatron states that the
next phase of their plan can now commence. Dinobot joins Unitus
and Arcrise, the three holding the Quantum Stopwatch together.
Arcrise checks with Unitus that he is certain of his actions,
and he states that the Cybertronian race – especially Buzzstreak
– deserve another chance. He presses the other button on the
device and we cut to black.
The Dawn Katana, months before. Buzzstreak is in tears in her
quarters, when the Debt Collector soothingly tells her that she
should not choose her death so lightly. The young bot is
surprised at the intruder’s presence, and at her knowing her
intentions. The Debt Collector then hands Buzzstreak the Quantum
Stopwatch, telling her to press one of the buttons if she
decides to die, and the other if she chooses to keep living. She
then vanishes. After some deliberation, Buzzstreak presses the
“live” button. Wiping away her tears, she leaves her room.
