       RUN, RUN, RUN
       Airdate: Saturday 19th July 2014
Synopsis: The crew of the Dawn Katana are gathered in the ship’s
bridge; Scale is stating that many of the team are tired of
having no aim now, though Waspinator points out that this cannot
be helped. Their responsibility is to keep the One True Matrix
as far from Necrocide as possible. Swingback adds that they
simply want some adventure, something beyond fruitless
travelling, and a moment later, a comm.-link opens up on the
ship’s main monitor. A grizzled-looking alien orders all ships
to steer clear, as a red-level criminal has escaped the
Kenud-Rzan Galactic Prison. The Maximals all look at Waspinator
with a light in their eyes.
       [logo only]
Troops and guards rush around the prison facility, desperately
attempting to find the escaped convict. The grizzled alien,
Zu-Dral-jh, is controlling the search from the facility’s head
office, noting that the criminal’s biometric signature cannot be
traced, when one of his subordinates observes a ship entering
the prison’s air-space. Zu-Dral-jh contacts the ship again, and
is greeted by Waspinator. The Maximal leader claims that his
team are members of the Cybertronian Elite Guard, and that they
are willing to help the situation. Zu-Dral-jh questions why
Cybertronians would be patrolling so far away from their own
galaxy, and Waspinator bluffs that they are the ‘Long-Distance
       Division’.
Waspinator: We’re members of the Cybertronian Elite Guard. We
received your message, and feel that we can be of service to
       you.
Zu-Dral-jh: Cybertronians… if you’re Cybertronian, why are you
this far away from Cybertron? Whole galaxies away.
       Waspinator: Uh… we’re the Long-Distance Division.
The alien concedes, allowing the Dawn Katana to land. Waspinator
warns the team that they will be diving straight into an intense
situation, but most of the team (bar Wildfire and Andromeda,
with the former focusing on comforting the latter) are already
prepared. As they head out, Prophecy immediately rushes off in a
certain direction – Mirage suggests they follow her, and the
team does so, weaving through guards and heading down corridors,
only for Prophecy to reach an empty cell and curl up to sleep.
The Maximals are annoyed, but Paladin notices a pattern
engrained on the ceiling. Analysing it, Mirage remarks that it
is a map, from the facility to a planetoid several star systems
away… however, the first step from the facility is very
unorthodox. Zu-Dral-jh approaches the team, explaining that the
cell they are in is the one that the criminal, Raxx, was
previously held in. Raxx is a mass-murderer, having caused
multiple events on a number of worlds, leaving hundreds dead and
some of the bodies missing each time. Scale states that the cell
seems rather basic to hold a mass-murdered, but Zu-Dral-jh
activates the cell, causing it to separate itself from the rest
of reality. The facility’s head claims that there is no
conceivable way that Raxx could have escaped… but he has.
Hearing this, Mirage asks if he could not have escaped through
the ‘seam’ between reality and the cell, and is in fact not in
       the facility at all.
On another planet, multiple dead bodies litter the office of a
vehicle rental company. Raxx is appropriating one of the
vehicles, a small orbital dasher (a pod-like craft with
gyroscopic rings). He thanks the corpses he has left, before
setting off. At the facility, Zu-Dral-jh halves the searching
teams, stating that it is still possible that Raxx is within the
building, while Mirage deciphers the map from Raxx’s cell. She
claims that the first planet is G’ree, three star systems away,
but that it may be worth heading straight to his next
destination, Mitrz. Waspinator goes to lead his team off, but
Zu-Dral-jh orders them to keep full communication with the
facility all the while. They agree to this, and head for the
Dawn Katana, while Zu-Dral-jh has one of his staff look into the
Cybertronian Elite Guard databanks. As the Maximals board the
ship, the A.I. greets them, and asks what progress they made.
Waspinator begins to explain, but Mirage cuts him off, ordering
the ship to set course for Mitrz. The A.I. is immediately
uncertain of this. Meanwhile, Raxx’s orbital dasher crashes down
on Mitrz, a world not unlike Junkion – specifically, it lands
into a wreckage-filled sludge pool. Raxx bursts the door off of
the craft, and as it hits the sludge, it starts to be eaten away
by acid. He notices that the same is happening with the craft
itself, and heads inside, retrieving a grappling gun and
escaping to a nearby outcrop. A female alien approaches him,
communicating telepathically, and he responds by shooting
through her chest with the grappling gun. He praises her
telepathic ability, and slings her body over his shoulder as he
       starts trekking across the scrap-fields.
Raxx: Telepathy, eh? That’s quite something. Mind if I take it?
       You’re welcome.
At the Kenud-Rzan Galactic Prison, the researching officer finds
that only Waspinator and Prophecy are recorded as Elite Guard
agents… and that Cybertron was destroyed a few months ago.
Zu-Dral-jh orders him to keep investigating.
The Dawn Katana reaches Mitrz, and the ship’s A.I. explains
that he must find a safe location to land. Paladin points out a
large construct on the horizon, and the ship flies towards it.
All the while, Wildfire checks if Andromeda is okay; the fembot
cheerily states that she is, and that she has gotten used to the
thrills of the team quickly. Wildfire quickly notices that she
stole some metallic devices from the prison, and asks if that is
really shy she is so happy, which flusters her.
Wildfire: Hang on… your satchel’s all lumpy.
       Andromeda: No it’s not, it’s… it’s growing!
Wildfire: You stole things from the prison, didn’t you? Is that
       why you’re so happy?
       Andromeda: Th-That’s not- I mean, erm- I didn’t- it’s not
stealing and yes it’s why I’m happy!
As the ship lands down on the construct, a pillar-like spire,
Scale begins a biometric scan for Raxx. The A.I. explains the
intricacies of biometric scans, while Swingback notices Raxx
walking along far below. Waspinator leads Scale, Wildfire,
Swingback and Andromeda out, flying down in beast mode or
descending the spire to reach Raxx, as the ship asks Mirage if
he should bother continuing the scan. Raxx fires his grappling
gun at Wildfire, but Swingback manages to knock it aside before
it hits him, and Waspinator reaches the criminal before he can
retract the hook. Raxx starts running, and Waspinator flies
after him, Andromeda following – the now-decapitated body of the
female alien hits Waspinator, thrown as a distraction by Raxx
who runs faster carrying only the alien’s head. Mirage contacts
the group from the ship, informing them that there is a facility
up ahead, a destination for neighbouring planets to teleport
their junk. With Scale, Wildfire and Swingback catching up
on-foot, the Maximals follow Raxx into the facility. Waspinator
is shot through the chest by a high-focus laser manned by Raxx,
but the criminal is deeply surprised to find that Waspinator is
still alive. He questions if the Maximal is immortal, and the
bot confirms this. Cackling, Raxx continues running, as the five
bots give chase. Reaching an open chamber, they cannot find the
criminal – only for him to jump into view, just as the
       teleportation field activates.
Mirage informs Prophecy and Paladin that she has lost contact
with the others, and the Dawn Katana registers the teleportation
field as well as the absence of Raxx’s biometric signature.
Paladin asks if there are any other major methods off of the
planet, and the ship confirms that the planet is mostly isolated
beside the facility or with personal transport. From this,
Mirage deduces that Raxx has teleported himself and the Maximals
to his next planet – Rev’er.
Mirage: The others have vanished. Raxx has vanished. A
teleportation field was activated nearby, and it’s the primary
method off-world. Raxx would assumedly know that. So the
teleportation must reach the next world on his map… Rev’er. He’s
there, along with Waspinator and the others.
In a similar facility on the planet Rev’er, the Maximals and
Raxx continue their chase, with Raxx making use of the crowds
outside and managing to acquire a bag for the alien’s head, as
well as some weapons. Waspinator has Scale head off in one
direction, Wildfire and Swingback in another, and orders
Andromeda to perform aerial recon with him. They go to split up,
but Wildfire asks Andromeda if one of her stolen items is a
biometric scanner. The fembot insists on the word “collected”,
before looking through her satchel, finding a scanner.
Waspinator lightly scolds Andromeda, but praises the
circumstance, as they begin tracking Raxx – they find that he is
heading to a spaceport. Waspinator leads them after their
target. At the prison, Zu-Dral-jh is informed that Cybertron’s
destruction was connected to a conflict occurring beyond the
universe, and that it is now afflicting the galaxies local to
Cybertron’s original location. A Valoranian is involved, so
there is rumour that this is a rekindling of the
       Cybertron-Valoran War.
As Waspinator’s team was sighted on Valoran a few weeks ago, it
is thought that they may be a political strike team. Suspicious
now, Zu-Dral-jh heads off to ponder the information. Raxx sneaks
through the spaceport, with the Maximals in pursuit – he rushes
towards a small ship, only for the Dawn Katana to land in front
of him. Prophecy generates an energy bubble around him, as
Waspinator’s group catch up. The Maximal leader starts to
question Raxx, but the criminal simply holds up a small device,
detonating a bomb elsewhere in the spaceport.
As the Maximals are taken by surprise, Raxx gets out a
polarity-reversing lance, stabbing into the energy bubble and
sending it back to Prophecy. The Aadorean wildcat-bot is
surprised by this, while Paladin grits his teeth. Noticing,
Mirage tells him that if they do not prioritise Raxx’s capture,
hundreds more lives could be taken than those just now. Raxx
manages to take the abandoned ship, avoiding fire from the
Maximals, and launches off; Waspinator leads his group back onto
the Dawn Katana, and Mirage states that Raxx shall be headed for
his final destination, a planetoid called DXM-37051. As they set
off, Waspinator observes that the others seem to actually be
enjoying the mission, and they claim that it is exhilarating.
The leader points out that it would be best for them to not
constantly seek danger just to stave off boredom, just as Mirage
notices Waspinator’s chest wound; she orders him off to use the
CR chamber. Zu-Dral-jh contacts the ship, demanding to know who
the Cybertronians really are and even accusing them of helping
Raxx escape somehow. Mirage starts explaining, but Prophecy
pipes up that they are heroes of the past, present and future,
and that Zu-Dral-jh needs to trust them.
       Mirage: … we’re a team-
Prophecy: Of heroes! We’re heroes of the past, present and
future! It’s true. We’ve only just begun, mister-prison-man.
       Just trust us!
The alien announces that the Maximals have three hours more to
capture Raxx, or they shall be arrested themselves. Meanwhile,
Raxx lands down on DXM-37051 and heads towards a castle; all the
while, he removes the alien’s head from the blood-drenched bag.
As Waspinator finishes healing in the CR chamber, the ship’s
A.I. informs him that they are five minutes away from DXM-37051,
as well as passing on Zu-Dral-jh’s message. The hornet-bot
insists that they shall wrap things up with time to spare; he
heads to the room previously used to store Arcrise’s egg, and
retrieves one of the Ignition keys.
The Dawn Katana lands down, and Raxx appears to greet them. The
Maximals leave the ship, aiming their weaponry at the criminal,
but he simply beckons them into his castle, insisting that he
has something to show them. Cautious, the Maximals are lead into
the castle by Raxx, where he announces the fruits of his labour
       – a somewhat-patchwork body descends from above, which Raxx
calls “Me.2”. He explains that he has gained body parts from
interesting races across the local star systems, engineering
himself a perfect body – impermeable but malleable skin, a brain
that maximises the mind’s potential, a high healing factor
(although he notes that he would prefer to re-engineer
Gallifreyan regenerative abilities), and is intending on working
in telepathy alongside various other powers the body holds. His
intention is to move his consciousness into this new body. He
informs Waspinator that he would like to study his immortality.
Waspinator darkly notes that immortality is the ultimate desire
of those who do not have it, and shrugs off Raxx’s suggestion of
a symbiotic ‘back and forth’ sharing of the immortality. The
criminal decides instead to brutally take out Waspinator’s
spark, studying it and ending Waspinator’s existence, killing
       two birds with one stone.
       Raxx: In that case…
       *he activates a surgical tool*
Raxx: I’ll just carve out your soul, and unlock your
immortality. Hey, you’ll probably die in the process! We both
win! It’s going to hurt, though, I promise.
As he approaches with a demonic-looking surgical tool,
Waspinator swiftly activates his Ignition key and blasts Raxx’s
arm off. The criminal wails and curses in pain, as Mirage coolly
states that it shall now be hard to apply handcuffs to him.
Later, at the Kenud-Rzan Galactic Prison, the Maximals hand over
Raxx, and suggest that they find a new way of incarcerating him.
As they go to leave, Zu-Dral-jh asks why they were really on
Valoran; Waspinator explains that they were stranded there, and
that their wider mission is to end the conflict within their
species. Zu-Dral-jh asks them if they really believe themselves
to be enough; Waspinator states that he hopes so. The Maximals
head onto the Dawn Katana, and Prophecy assures Zu-Dral-jh that
things will work out, no matter how bad they get. She cheerily
rushes onto the ship, leaving a bemused Zu-Dral-jh.
