Episode 10 – Under Lock and Key
       Airdate: Saturday 27th April 2013
Synopsis: Medusa sits in her new cell in solitude, as Necrocide
approaches. He asks her how she feels, and she hisses that she
has failed her team. The Valoranian agrees, chortling that she
should never have jeopardised the Predacons’ stability by going
against him. Angered, Medusa snaps that Necrocide does not care
for the Predacons, does not see them as anything more than pawns
to play towards his end goal. Necrocide’s expression goes dark.
Oily tendrils slither from his body, passing through the cell’s
energy bars and grabbing Medusa, holding her in place. One final
tendril bursts from the centre of his chest, striking the
fembot’s face and leaving a sickly black scar. Releasing her
from his grasp, he walks off, threatening that if she ever
speaks to him in that tone again, he will kill her. The
Epsilon-Zero is speeding after Ravager, with Emberscales,
Blizzard, Tidal Wave and Howlback in the bridge. Tidal Wave
remarks that they should have caught up with the Predacons
within an hour, which Emberscales is pleased to hear, although
he ponders aloud if, at this point, it would be better for the
Maximals to try and reach the Predacons’ destination before
them. As if on-cue, Wiretrap enters excitedly, declaring that he
has worked out the map’s end location… Manterax. A voice seems
concerned about this – it is Gigatron, who remarks that
Necrocide’s plan is evidently more risky than at first thought.
Blizzard points out that they already know that he wishes to
eradicate all life in the universe, but Gigatron explains that
Manterax will give the villain the power to do so in one swift
action. Ironfist shows off more of his new inventions to
Cross-Shot, as she attempts to train with them, although she
remarks that the presence of Feral, Nightscream, Firecloud,
Ratbat and Ouranos all watching is putting her on-edge. The
group apologise, as they continue using strange devices. Taking
a break from her own training, Prophecy approaches them,
informing them that universe is structurally sound and that it
would be best for them to return to the Total Conflict. A little
       baffled, the five vanish.
The engines of Ravager start up again, as Skysquawk approaches
Medusa. He informs her that the final dimensional gate has been
activated, and they shall soon reach their destination. Medusa’s
lack of response only goads the second-in-command on, and he
informs her that he never intended to stay loyal to her. She
recruited him under threat of torture, but he had always known
that it would only be a matter of time before she fell. He and
Ambush had simply been waiting for the right moment to send her
down. Medusa snarls that if she had known that Necrocide would
be so twisted, she never would have let Skysquawk free from
Fortress Maximus – she would have known that the criminal would
ally with Necrocide if the alien would not stand alongside her.
Skysquawk remarks that it is a moot point, as her attempts at
keeping everyone locked in her game have left her imprisoned and
betrayed. Chuckling to himself, he leaves, with Ambush waiting
at the door, staring smugly at Medusa. Waspinator and Dinobot
are once again talking, discussing the battle with the Predacon
strike-team, as Arcrise sits by and listens intently. However,
Waspinator then asks Dinobot what he knows of Gigatron and his
team, and the warrior attempts to shy away from the subject,
remarking that he knows nothing more than Waspinator. The
hornet-bot does not believe his ally, but Streetwise enters
before any more can be discussed. She smiles warmly at Arcrise
(who looks away awkwardly), before asking the Waspinator if she
can talk with Dinobot alone. Suspicious, Waspinator leads
Arcrise out, asking her why Streetwise smiled at her. The
all-powerful fembot gets flustered at this, as Wiretrap
approaches, informing the two that they are needed in the
       bridge.
As Waspinator, Arcrise and Wiretrap reach the bridge,
Emberscales and Gigatron explain to them that the Predacons’
destination is Manterax (Gigatron, of course, explains that the
planet is covered in ancient abandoned temples, as only Prophecy
and Dinobot retain their memories of having visited the planet).
According to Gigatron, travelling there via the dimensional
gates gives access another facet of the planet… a spiritual well
and an active energy flow, which would grant Necrocide enough
power to reach out across the entire universe. Emberscales
explains that they need Arcrise to keep them on the correct side
of the dimensional wall, while the ship takes the quickest route
possible to Manterax. The Maximals need to reach the planet
before the Predacons to have the best chance of stopping
Necrocide, but they will need to be in the specific dimension –
once the Predacons reach Manterax, they will no longer be in
normal dimensions. Arcrise says that she will try her best, and
Waspinator asks why he is needed. Blizzard comments that he
managed to keep Arcrise stabilised during the battle before, and
so his presence may help her with maintaining the correct
conditions for the ship; Arcrise blushes a little at this as she
starts focusing, and Waspinator sits down beside her, smiling at
her. As Dinobot and Streetwise walk into the bridge, Gigatron
suggests to his ally that they leave. He informs Emberscales
that he is not sure when they shall next meet, but it shall
hopefully lead to the recovery of the Matrix of Leadership. He
wishes the team luck as he and Streetwise leave; Blizzard cries
out after them, wishing for them to stay and help, but Dinobot
comments that they have other matters to attend to. Chaos-Blade
finally lists off of the planet it was marooned on, as the
Predacons on-board prepare to locate and delay the Maximals once
more. Iguanus approaches Medusa’s cell, and informs her that he
is on her side; he has discovered Necrocide’s plan and has
informed assistance. Medusa deduces that Iguanus means the
Maximals, and calls him a traitor, but he coldly remarks the
right now, he is all the hope she has, before leaving her alone.

       Episode 11 – Loyalty
       Airdate: Saturday 4th May 2013
Synopsis: Iguanus sends the remaining hidden data to the
Maximals from Ravager, before looking at the devices laid around
him. He continues working on a cortical psychic patch, when the
Maximals send a message back to him, asking if he can delay the
Predacon’s arrival on Manterax at all. The Predacon says he will
try, before shutting the computer, transforming and entering the
ship’s vent system. As the Epsilon-Zero continues on, with
Arcrise focusing on keeping the ship in the correct dimension
and Waspinator sat beside her, Emberscales asks for a
time-check. Tidal Wave states that they are around twenty
minutes away from the Predacons now… and as if on-cue, the ship
is rocked heavily. Chaos-Blade has slammed into it, sending it
hurtling towards a nearby moon. Before the Maximals can
stabilise, the Predacon ship rams into them again, and again,
forcing them down. Aboard the ship, Bloodtide snarls that they
will keep the Maximals distracted if it kills them. As both
ships tumble to the surface, Emberscales orders the Maximals to
act swiftly – as soon as the Predacons are at a disadvantage,
they will retreat and continue on. The distance to Manterax
means that Chaos-Blade should not catch up with them again if
they leave promptly. Waspinator states that he will stay with
Arcrise, as the other Maximals head out to confront the
Predacons. Iguanus reaches Ravager’s engines, and plants a
detonative on them before blowing it, damaging them. He contacts
Necrocide, informing him that he was running maintenance checks
on the engines when they blew, and he will work on repairing
them. The door to the engines opens, and Necrocide enters,
surprising Iguanus; the alien remarks that he knows what Iguanus
is up to, and once the traitor has repaired the ship, he shall
kill him. The Valoranian leaves, and Iguanus coldly starts to
       work on repairing the engines.
On the barren moon, Bloodtide leads the Predacon strike-team
into battle, with Snapjaw and Flicksting bickering as ever.
Though the Predacons are outnumbered almost two-to-one,
Bloodtide more than makes up for it, attacking Emberscales and
Dinobot with intense ferocity. Rampage, likewise, gives her all
in fighting Tidal Wave and Howlback, while Drain is locked in
combat with Cross-Shot and Wiretrap. While Snapjaw and
Flicksting attempt to fight Blizzard, Ironfist and Prophecy,
they continue squabbling, with increasing vitriol. As Ironfist
fires at Snapjaw with an impressively large gun, Flicksting
shoves her team-mate to the ground in rage, and is hit by the
blast, her entire upper body blowing to pieces. Snapjaw smirks,
informing his dead ally that he has won the argument. Cross-Shot
beats Drain into the same battle, and Snapjaw points out to the
mosquito-bot that they are now fighting 5-to-2. Drain remarks
that she likes the odds, as they continue fighting. On Ravager,
Necrocide discusses Iguanus with Skysquawk and Ambush. The two
Predacons note that they know very little of him, as he
generally keeps to himself. Necrocide remarks that Medusa has
gathered a rather pathetic excuse for a team, which tenses the
atmosphere, before he heads off. As Iguanus continues working on
repairing the engines, he also tinkers with a small device,
grimly hoping that the Maximals will gain the advantage before
       he finishes the repairs.
Waspinator soothingly talks to Arcrise to help her keep her
focus, assuring her that she can manage and that he has faith in
her, a remark that flusters her. Noticing, Waspinator asks her
what is wrong, and she squeaks out that she does not know. On
the battlefield, Bloodtide is dealing considerable damage to
Emberscales and Dinobot, all the while seething that the
Maximals have forever held back the Predacons, a travesty that
he shall make up for. Emberscales retorts that all the Predacons
have ever done is cause chaos and pain across the universe, and
them sending the Matrix of Leadership into the unknown is the
last straw. The former Prime then repeatedly slashes through
Bloodtide, cutting him into numerous pieces. Snapjaw, Rampage
and Drain are shocked at this, and Snapjaw hastily orders a
retreat. Cross-Shot goes to fire an arrow on Chaos-Blade again,
but Prophecy tells her that she does not need to. Dinobot
worries for Emberscales’ state, as the leader orders his team
back onto the ship. Iguanus finishes repairing Ravager’s
engines, but as he goes to contact Necrocide, he realises that
leaving him uninformed will allow for greater delay. Affixing
his device – a signal cloak – to himself, he once again
transforms and heads into the vents. Similarly, the Epsilon-Zero
cloaks itself as it passes by Ravager, with Tidal Wave reporting
that they shall reach Manterax within fifteen minutes. Aboard
the Predacon ship, Skysquawk and Ambush receive communications
from Snapjaw, informing of the deaths of Bloodtide and
Flicksting and the failure to stop the Maximals. The hyena-bot
states that they will meet the crew of Ravager at Manterax. As
Medusa sits despondent in her cell, Iguanus bursts through the
sealed vent in the ceiling, remarking that the end is almost
       here.

10-The quiet calm before the final battle of epic begins. I like
it; lots of writers skimp out on the vital character development
stuff in favor of EXPLOSIONS BANG WHAM ZOW POW DEATH. You
maintain an excellent balance. Ha, poor Medusa; at this point,
       she's totally at Necrocide's not-even-remotely tender mercy.
Manterax again, eh? Cool. Lol @ Ironfist and his devices as
usual. Total Conflict stuff is happening so they all leave, aww,
too bad. Ah Skysquawk, I hope you survive this season to inflict
more terror and suffering on everyone. Best convict evah.
Streetwise smiling at Arcrise... I wonder if that means she's
a-okay with her and Waspy. Manterax infos, and Streetwise and
Gigatron head off to get the Matrix. I'm wondering if that's
gonna be chronicled in another series or something; doesn't seem
like there's enough room left in this one. It okay Blizzard,
they're off to save something super-duper important! Medusa, any
shelter in a storm, you have to learn that, even if said shelter
be the Maximals. Yay for Iguanus intrigue!
11-Before I write the rest... DAMN YOU FOR BURYING
FLICKSTING-SNAPJAW WITH A GIANT CANNON YOU MONSTER! ;_; My one
true OTP has been destroyed... life is meaningless to me now.
       ;_; :P
Okay, now from the beginning. Ha Iguanus, taking a big risk
there. Woohoo, the Chaos-Blade returns with a vengeance! Battle
time! Iguanus... I hope you know how to repair engines really
really slowly. Epic battle, where you break my heart and also
kill Bloodtide, which was equally sad. My only options left now
are Rampage-Snapjaw bromance. Though I will admit I love the way
Flicksting went out, inadvertendly saving the one she hates by
dying. Nice response Snapjaw. More Iguanus intrigue looking
forward to the finale gonna be epic.

       ---------------------------------------------------------
10 - mhm, Rise has had a lot of quieter episodes, especially
with seasons 2 and 3. It pushes into the characters more, and
gives development for both them and the plot. Medusa, yes, that
scar... lot of meaning to that. :3 Manterax, but of course! XD
Ironfist and zany weapons, but of course! :P Skysquawk, I'm not
saying anything. :3 Streetwise smiling at Arcrise, I remind you
that she's already stated her approval of Arcrise's feelings for
Waspy; the smile is just reaffirmation. The Matrix? I remind you
of that film that's coming after Rise. XDXD And mhm, Medusa's
       still being fussy. :P
11 - HA! XD I actually came up with Flicksting's actual
death-scene just last night. I thought it was perfect - proved
just how little they cared for each other. And Tidal
Wave/Howlback was you OTP, no? XD Iguanus, yus, he's never been
much of a Predacon loyalist. And more evil bastard Necrocide
there. :P Bloodtide, I wanted to give him a really
Reconfiguration-style brutal badass death. XD I remind you that
Rampage is a fembot, btw. :P Snapjaw could get with her or
Drain. But, well, keep reading. ;) And again, yah, the death is
brilliant, arranged so Snapjaw can literally just be like 'haha,
I win the argument cos you died'. He's a dick like that. XD And
the finale, indeed, shall be VERY epic. 8)

Episode 12 – The Diabolical Genius of a War Criminal
       Airdate: Saturday 11th May 2013
Synopsis: The Epsilon-Zero is sat upon Manterax; Emberscales,
Waspinator, Prophecy and Dinobot are stood outside, awaiting the
arrival of Ravager. Emberscales notes that they must focus their
efforts on Necrocide, and Prophecy takes his hand, purring that
they will manage. Aboard the Maximal ship, Blizzard and Ironfist
are preparing Tidal Wave, Cross-Shot and Wiretrap, while
Howlback and Arcrise talk. The former teacher tells Arcrise that
she has to act upon her feelings, though Arcrise is less than
sure on this. All the while, Skysquawk and Ambush discuss the
incompetence of the team, with Skysquawk stating that he would
make a superior leader. Ambush is unconvinced. Medusa and
Iguanus, in beast mode, travel through the ship’s ventilation
systems; they stop in a large area, and Medusa scolds Iguanus
for aligning with the Maximals. Iguanus points out that he only
ever stayed with the Predacons because of his debt to Medusa,
which he is now paying off – he and her are both outcasts from
the Predacons now, and have to work together. He further points
out that this is her chance to get back at Necrocide.
Begrudgingly, she concedes, following him on. Necrocide enters
the bridge, asking how long until the ship reaches Manterax,
with Ambush informing him that they are a few minutes away. The
Valoranian sits in his throne, smirking. The Maximals can see
Ravager approaching now, and Emberscales orders the rest of his
team out of their ship. The eleven Maximals gather, and watch
the large Predacon ship draw near. There is tension in the air
as Ravager lands down, and the Maximals wait, prepared, for the
Predacons to exit. After a few moments, Necrocide’s tendrils
burst from the ship, knocking the Maximals back as he exits,
chuckling, Skysquawk and Ambush in-tow. The Maximals start to
fight back, but Necrocide counters with ease.
Further out from the planet, Chaos-Blade draws closer; on
board, Snapjaw, Rampage and Drain are still shocked over the
slaughter of Bloodtide. Rampage insists that she would have
easily managed tearing the Maximals’ minds apart, but Snapjaw
yells that no matter what she thinks, she is nothing more than a
second-rate Psychosis. Drain quickly breaks the two up before
they start fighting, insisting that petty squabbling will get
them nowhere. Rampage sneers that Snapjaw is simply upset that
Flicksting is dead, and the hyena-bot retorts that she got
herself destroyed by her own foolishness. The Maximals are still
struggling to deal with Necrocide, and the presence of Skysquawk
and Ambush is not helping. Medusa and Iguanus exit the
ventilation now that the ship is empty, and Iguanus suggests
that they head outside. Medusa is, of course, uneasy with doing
so, and Iguanus once again points out that her only options are
to help the Maximals or risk Necrocide winning and keeping her
imprisoned forever (or worse). Before anything more can be said,
a replicate monster made from Necrocide tendrils attacks the
two; Iguanus states that they need to lead the creature to his
quarters, and the two fight back in an attempt to do so. Arcrise
makes repeated attempts to attack Necrocide, but Skysquawk
continues to hold her back; Waspinator aids Arcrise, attacking
the treacherous second-in-command, but still, the Maximals are
being heavily held back, primarily by Necrocide’s own power.
Chaos-Blade lands down, and the remaining three Predacons join
their allies on the battlefield. Content with his force’s
efforts, Necrocide starts to head into the temples.
Medusa and Iguanus finally lead the oily tendril creature to
the latter’s quarters; Iguanus goes to grab a contraption, even
as the creature starts to ensnare Medusa. As she tries to fight
back, Iguanus uses a solar flamethrower on the creature, melting
it to nothingness. The inventor remarks that his debt to Medusa
is more than repaid now, and states that he is leaving the
Predacons, making Medusa chuckle. She tells him that she will
miss him and his loyalty. Necrocide continues heading into the
temples, with the Maximals attempting to follow him but being
held back by the Predacons and Necrocide’s own powers. However,
he pauses, turns, and points out that he has yet to gloat. The
Valoranian explains that he gained a taste for death in the
Cybertronian-Valoranian war, and made sure to leave a
contingency plan in case he was imprisoned – a puzzle box,
forged to match the key to the Cybertronian prisons, and leading
whoever finds it on a quest to release him. Medusa, of course,
found and was entranced by the box, and she gathered an army and
found the location of the prison, all to free him. In turn,
Necrocide forged the path to this specific dimensional map of
Manterax: the temples differ on each dimensional phase of the
planet, and the planet possesses different properties. Here,
Necrocide can use an intense well of power to reach out to the
entire universe with his Psychosis-gotten powers… and then
terminate every single life. Medusa and Iguanus exit Ravager,
but hold, seeing that the Maximals are listening to Necrocide
rather than fighting. Emberscales snaps that Necrocide has no
right to end any life, but the alien remarks that he is aware of
that… it is what makes his end-goal so delicious. With that, he
reaches into the heads of the Maximals, sealing their conscious
minds within their darkest fears. With the heroes strewn across
the ground, Necrocide leads his Predacons into the temples.

Episode 13 – Hopes and Fears
       Airdate: Saturday 18th May 2013
Synopsis: The streets of Cybertron, flooded with riots. Many
declare it to be the end of days, and state that Emberscales
Prime has failed his people. Emberscales watches on from a safe
location, terrified and disappointed in himself. Someone tells
him that this is not reality – Medusa. She reminds the Maximal
that he was confronting Necrocide, and the villain has locked
the heroes in their own minds. Emberscales awakens in reality,
to find himself and Medusa connected by a cortical psychic
patch, manned by Iguanus. The former-Prime looks over his team,
all unconscious – Iguanus states that they can use the patch to
free them from their minds, but they must act swiftly, as
Necrocide is acting all the while. Emberscales states his
distrust for Medusa (the snake-bot remarks that they share a
common enemy and points out her scar), before attaching the
patch to Blizzard. He finds her sat in a prison cell, aboard
Fortress Maximus, as Predacon wardens march by. The Predacons
have become the victors, the rulers. Blizzard is surprised to
see Emberscales in her cell, and he informs her that he – and
the universe – needs her. She awakens, immediately glaring at
Medusa as Emberscales patches into Tidal Wave. The
former-teacher’s fears see him looking over a smouldering Earth,
the world he has known as home in ruins. Emberscales informs him
that he can prevent this from happening for real. Next is
Cross-Shot, training ceaselessly in an empty world. She attempts
to ignore Emberscales, but he insists that she has a family with
the Maximals, and she eventually concedes. Waspinator’s fears
present themselves as twisted images of himself; Emberscales is
surprised, but informs the Maximal that he can overcome his
darkness by destroying the darkness of others. In Prophecy’s
mind, the fembot is utterly deranged and locked in a cage, as
warring spaceships above ravage the planet. Emberscales chases
off the bots taunting her, and frees her from the cage. As
Prophecy awakens, Emberscales orders Blizzard to lead the others
       – including Iguanus – to hold up Psychosis. Medusa takes over
manning the patch, and informs Emberscales that he can trust
her, as he dives into Ironfist’s mind. As Blizzard and her team
reach the inner sanctum where Necrocide is located, they find
Skysquawk, Snapjaw, Rampage, Ambush and Drain guarding the
entrance. The Predacons attempt to put up a fight, but Iguanus
points out that Necrocide intends on destroying all life…
including the Predacons. Realising this, Skysquawk allows the
Maximals through; Snapjaw asks if they should join the Maximals,
but Skysquawk notes that they will only turn on the Predacons as
soon as Necrocide is defeated, and leads them off to Ravager.
Within the inner sanctum, the Maximals find Necrocide,
surrounded by shifting light as he absorbs the energy below.
Emberscales wakes from his attempt to restore Arcrise, informing
Medusa that he cannot get inside her mind. The Predacon suggests
he awaken the others first, and he heads into Ironfist’s mind,
even as Skysquawk and the others walk past, the new Predacon
leader smirking at Medusa – they board Ravager, tractor-beam
Chaos-Blade on-board, and fly off. Ironfist is working on
something when Emberscales appears; the weapons expert remarks
that it has all come down to this, one gargantuan weapon, the
only hope that the universe has. His worst fear – creating
weapons out of necessity. Emberscales tells him that the fight
is not over yet, and he wakes up as Emberscales patches into
Howlback. He finds her crying amidst the bodies of the other
Maximals – she is surprised to see him, and he promises her that
she will not lose anyone. As Emberscales returns with Howlback,
he orders her and Ironfist to join the others. They head off, as
Emberscales enters Dinobot’s mind and finds him watching a scene
remarkably similar to Prophecy’s. The former Prime enquires as
to why their fears both contain the same world, but Dinobot
refuses to answer, instead simply waking. Ironfist and Howlback
join Blizzard’s team, but their attempts at defeating Necrocide
are fruitless – he simply evades and counters their attacks, as
his reach spreads out, across the planet and then beyond,
ever-faster. He states that once he “touches” every living
organism, he will be able to extinguish them with one act.
In Wiretrap’s mind, Emberscales finds the young bot faced
with a dilemma – press a button to destroy Cybertron,
eradicating the Predacons, but killing civilians too. Wiretrap
notes that the responsibility is too much for him, and
Emberscales notes that he will grow to accommodate
responsibility, given time. Wiretrap awakens, and Emberscales
orders him off, before turning to Arcrise. The other Maximals
are joined by Dinobot, but Necrocide is still remaining
unscathed. He taunts the team, sounding ever-more unhinged as he
declares himself the arbiter of life and death. Wiretrap enters
the scene, utterly dumbfounded. Emberscales fails once again to
enter Arcrise’s mind; Medusa boosts the patch, and wishes the
Maximal leader luck. This time, he enters her mind, finding
himself in a sea of blue fluid. He swims towards a port, popping
up and finding Illyiara sat inside the inner portion of the
Arcrise Machine. Naturally, Emberscales is confused, and
Illyiara’s cautious optimism at his appearance decays as she
realises that what she has seen through Arcrise’s eyes is the
true reality now. She informs Emberscales that she will make
sure that Arcrise awakens, and to bid Waspinator a hello.
Emberscales awakens once more, as Arcrise bolts upright, leaps
to her feet, transforms and flies off, Emberscales joining her
in dragon mode. Flying into the inner sanctum, Arcrise collides
with Necrocide at full-pelt, before transforming and attacking
him, actually landing some damage. The other Maximals take the
opening, even as Arcrise charges with energy, silver turning
golden-yellow and blue lights turning red. She ruthlessly fights
Necrocide, just about overpowering him, and with the other
Maximals aiding her, the Valoranian is beaten to the ground, his
reach receding. Arcrise proceeds to atomise him as he pleads her
not to, before collapsing to the floor. The Maximals rush over
to her, but as her colours return to normal, she comes to, and
smiles at Waspinator. Emberscales thanks Iguanus for his
assistance, and the Predacon states that he would like to join
the Maximals. Cross-Shot points out that the other Predacons
have escaped, but Emberscales is simply thankful that Necrocide
has been destroyed. They can now return to Cybertron. Medusa
stands by the Epsilon-Zero, defeated but somehow content, ready
to be stasis-cuffed as her scar tissue continues to seethe.

12-Firstly, the title amuses me for some reason. Dunno why. Nice
to see all the Maximals prepped and ready for the final battle.
Nice to see Skysquawk assert his Primus-given superiority, and
how dare that Ambush be doubtful of his pure awesome! D: Lol
Medusa, you're not in a position to accuse your savior of
anything. Oh u Necrocide, with your smirking and your tendrils
and your love of death and your inhumanely badass name... u so
awesome. Nice to see the Chaos-Blade come back; lol @ Snapjaw
calling Rampage on her psychic powers being loads weaker than
those of Psychosis. Damn it Medusa, stop being untrusting of the
noble and honorable good guys. You should be seeing them as
saps. :P Epic battle, woot for the Chaos-Blade coming along.
Iguanus finally quits, the puzzle-box and Necrocide's master
plan are explained, and the good guys are locked in their own
       minds!
13-Let me say this before I started. I expected le final episode
to be some sort of super-epic affair littered with explosions
and main characters dying horribly and deep drama. I did not get
       what I expected. And that's amazing! :D
There aren't many who would go for a quieter series finale, one
that focuses more on the characters than the explosions, one
that (literally)delves in to the minds of the characters rather
than focusing on the end of all life on the universe. And you've
exceeded my expectations wonderfully; this isn't as epic as the
previous season's finale, if you define epic as EXPLOSIONS DEATH
DRAMA, but it's as good and perhaps even better for it. :) All
in all, amazing job dude. As always, my expectations are blown
away by the sheer quality of Rise.
Okay, now for the play-by-play. At the beginning, I was all
"WTF", before Medusa popped in to save the day. Actually, when
Medusa popped in to save Emberscales from his mind, I was still
"WTF", lol. That said, Medusa may hate Maximals, but she doesn't
fancy dying. It's nice to see everyone's worst fears, and to see
Emberscales, despite how shaken he is, step up and calm everyone
down. "In Prophecy's mind, the fembot is utterly deranged" Not
just in her mind. :P I liked Tidal Wave's mind-glimpse best, by
the way. Blizzard and Cross-Shot had cool ones to, and
Waspinator especially did. Seeing the Predacons stalk away to
fight another day... well, in my opinion, I'm glad. It was
preferable to seeing most of them die; that's what the movie's
       for, I'm betting. :P
       Lol @ Ironfist's mind, of course weapons. Aww @ Howlback's mind;
it reminds me of her back when we first saw her, mourning that
poor disposable mook she was friends with(Bash, was it?). She
still doesn't want to lose anything, and I appreciate that.
Meanwhile, Necrocide is hard to kill And now we see Wiretrap's
mind, about what I expected, but pretty cool. Suddenly, mad
intrigue within Arcrise's mind that even I can barely
comprehend, but it is nice to see Ilyiara again. Arcrise goes
all badass, Necrocide begs to live(lol) and doesn't. Happy
ending for all, though the Predacons are still on the Ravager.
       But then Medusa's scar-tissue seethes, CF3 went "ruh-roh", and
now he wishes to build a time machine and skip to a movie.
DAMN YOU DUDE WHY U DO THIS TO ME THIS IS ALMOST AS PAINFUL AS
THE "WAIT TILL NOVEMBER FOR THE JOHN HURT" THING.

Lot to respond to here, I'm glad! I had to wait over a week for
this. XD (over two for ep 12)
12 - yeah, the 'genius' is just his basic plan. ^_^; Skysquawk
is just his usual 'I'm a badass, deal with it' self. XD Medusa
is ALWAYS in a position to, especially when it's one of the only
people she genuinely trusts. :P Necrocide is badass, yes. XD
Snapjaw/Rampage aggression, but of course. :P I love that
Iguanus quitting bit - it's so obvious he's gone by that point,
but it's him cheekily going 'debt's paid. I really am done,
y'know' and Medusa is actually amused by it. :P And yes, locked
       away! :D
13 - aw, thanks dude! I needed a way to make this episode 'not
just another finale', and thought up the fears stuff as a really
cool way to explore their minds and let them be freed
one-by-one. Honestly, in hind-sight (and with my imaginary
fanbase in my head having discussions :P), I figured that
honestly, it's rather the opposite - too dissonant from ep 12,
especially with the whole season being more Predacon-centric.
Suddenly, the whole ep is about the Maximals' minds, and the
Predacons barely get a look in. But then, if you take both
episodes together, it's a bit more cohesive. :P
Medusa popping up, haha, yes. XD And mhm, that's why Emberscales
is leader and was Prime. :P Prophecy, I don't just mean her
usually cuckoo self, I mean totally babbling lunatic. :P I'm
personally very fond of Cross-Shot's - the fact that she doesn't
want to go, for a moment. Her fear is so horrible - that she'll
be wrapped up in her training so much that she'll be totally
alone. She doesn't want that, but she DOES want to be a hero.
She's stuck. Waspinator hates himself so what d'you expect? :P
The Predacons? Dying in the film? Surely not! Why would anyone
       die in Downfall?
Ironfist, I LOVE that one. It's not just 'weapons', it's taking
his love of inventing just because, and making it a doomsday
weapon which he had no choice but to build. Howlback, well, of
course. Her whole story has been 'protect the ones I love'. Bash
died, she got upset, Rampage threatened her, she decided to
protect those important to her, joined the Elite Guard because
of it... that's her story. :P Wiretrap, glad you're noticing the
development. Arcrise... her head is like the Arcrise Machine. :3
I LOVE that reveal. Illyiara! It's insane. And Arcrise goes all
Illyiara-colours! Necrocide dead! Everyone happy! Medusa right
       there!
Ha, it's only a week and a half. Hardly half a year. :P But of,
you wait. You wait and be amazed.
       A.
