Episode 13 – Ringing in the Air
       Airdate: Saturday 2nd February 2013
Synopsis: The Golden City. Flare-Boom is de-atomised by Zero
with the zero-gravity gripdrive during the Darkest Hour.
Suddenly, he is revived on an unknown planet, surprised to be
alive. Nearby is Steeljaw, who is already planning on rebuilding
the Overreach Fleet. Flare-Boom steps forward. At a later point
in time, he is deep in one of the Overreach ships when Darkspine
reports the loss of Steeljaw in combat with Oblivion, who also
perished. Flare-Boom grimaces, and dons two gauntlets, even as
Darkspine orders the entire Fleet to prepare for a strike on
Trayka. In the present timeline, Flare-Boom explains to his
enemies – in vague terms – how he is from an older timeline, and
has been operating towards vengeance. Dinobot snarls that
vengeance leads nowhere, but Flare-Boom announces that the Ruins
are actually the remains of the Enigma, and it is currently
stationed at the heart of the Hollow Globe. He plans on using
the ship to enhance the Hollow Globe’s power, spreading it out
‘as far as can be’ in hope of altering ‘all things’. The
Maximals quickly go to attack him, but his gauntlets prove an
incredible asset to his powers. All the while, Snaptrap catches
up with Tidal Wave in the energy stream, and tries to bite him,
but the Maximal manages to head through an opening to the
surface. His new beast mode proves much more manoeuvrable than
Snaptrap’s, and the Predacon is forced to transform. He attempts
to crush Tidal Wave with his pincer, but the crocodile
transforms, slicing the pincer with his blades, before
efficiently and heavily damaging Snaptrap himself. The Predacon
is left in a sorry state as Tidal Wave continues on. As Rapticon
rushes through the Hollow Globe, he receives a message from
Prophecy, telling him to head to the heart of the Globe and
destroy the Enigma. Headstrong bumps into Rapticon as the
second-in-command asks the soldier to accompany him. As
Flare-Boom fights off the Maximals, he orders his Warriors to
help him; they refuse, and he apologises in shallow manner
before controlling them into fighting. All the while, Medusa and
Psychosis attempt to control the Globe for their own purposes,
but Arcrise manages to keep them busy.
Tidal Wave, Cross-Shot and Uproar run into each other, and soon
find Divebomb and Sail-Away. The two Predacons attempt to defeat
their opponents, but are soon end up tumbling into the Globe’s
generator room, a crackling hall of energy. Uproar informs his
students that the two are most definitely dead. Rapticon and
Headstrong continue on their way to the Globe’s heart, with
Headstrong enquiring as to why he and Tidal Wave keep having
one-on-one talks. The Velociraptor-bot admits that he loves
Blizzard – his further attempts to explain himself are drowned
out by Headstrong’s cheering and congratulations. His ruckus
draws the attention of Bloodtide, up ahead; the Predacon is
blockading the path that leads to both the upper half of the
Globe, and the heart. Headstrong tells Rapticon that he will
hold up the violent Predacon. Transforming into rhinoceros mode,
he charges, as Rapticon swiftly sneaks past. The Warriors
continually apologise to the Maximals as they attack them
without control; Waspinator calls out for Arcrise to help them,
but she is too busy fighting both Medusa and Psychosis. Prophecy
generates a large band of energy around the Warriors, and it is
only then that the Maximals notice that Flare-Boom has already
reached the top of the spire, and is programming his details in.
Emberscales Prime transforms and flies up to confront him, but
Flare-Boom likewise transforms into his jet mode, and an aerial
dogfight begins. Rampage, Skysquawk, Ambush and Drain appear,
and attempt to help in fighting Arcrise, although the other
Maximals in turn confront them. Rapticon finds the entrance to
the Enigma, and is granted access by its systems (unknown to
him, this is because he registers as a Revon).
Headstrong and Bloodtide continue fighting, although the Maximal
is now exhausted; he continues on anyway, which Bloodtide
remarks to be almost admirable, before killing him. Tidal Wave,
Cross-Shot and Uproar join the other Maximals as the fighting
continues in the spire; Flare-Boom manages to pin Emberscales
Prime to the wall, and finishes entering his programming with
his free hand. He goes to start up the process, but his Warriors
interrupt – while their master was distracted, they were free of
his control. Rapticon enters the generator of the Enigma, and
works to connect the four energy pillars to short out the
system. Knowing he will be killed, he sends a message to
       Blizzard’s quarters on the Epsilon-Zero.
Rapticon: OK. Erm… heh. I don’t even know what to say now. This
is Rapticon. I’m sending this from the generator of the Enigma.
This place feels familiar and I have no clue why. I’m going to
die, Blizzard. I know I am, and I’m OK with that. I’m a hero,
       after all. A Maximal. I know I wasn’t always… I changed. You
changed me. Oh Primus… I love you. I really do, with everything
in me. And I was scared, because I knew a day like this would
come and I was worried… if you and I… I couldn’t do that to you.
Couldn’t leave you with a broken spark like that. And here I am,
doing it anyway… but I needed to tell you. I’m sorry I couldn’t
say it sooner. Aw slag… I can feel the energy build-up now.
Just… don’t be too sad, ‘kay Blizzard? Be happy. Be yourself. I
love you. I always have. Always will. Goodbye.
Completing his task, the ship overloads, exploding, which
Flare-Boom is alerted to. While he is distracted, Dinobot drives
his blade through the Decepticon’s chest, killing him. As the
Warriors assist Emberscales Prime, Medusa slithers from the
ceiling, transforming and inputting her programming swiftly. She
activates the Hollow Globe, and then calls her Predacons to
retreat. Prime orders his Maximals to follow. The Predacons
board Ravager, with Flicksting carrying Snaptrap, and the ship
leaves before the Maximals can catch up. However, Feral is
waiting; he insists on the Warriors coming with him to ‘other
places’. Cynder, Razorbeak and Abydos all immediately step
forward, but Dinobot refuses, noting that he feels he has work
to do in this world. Uproar instead steps forward; he wishes his
students and friends luck, before he, the three Warriors and
Feral disappear. Prophecy knowingly suggests that the others
board the Epsilon-Zero; Blizzard continually notes that Rapticon
and Headstrong are still M.I.A., but receives no response from
Prophecy, and so heads to her quarters, finding a message on her
system. Aboard Ravager, Medusa is sat in her quarters. She
finally solves the puzzle box, and smirks, only for a more
concerned look to cross her face.

Episode 4- Woot, gotta love the crew getting back together.
Wiretrap is cool as usual, and I'm betting the entire Elite
Guard fleet together is an impressive sight. Snaptrap flirting
is awesome, not something I'd have expected from him, even if it
is sarcastic. Skysquawk's mere presence is badass enough to make
them leave, lol. That puzzle-box, as usual, is intriguing. Ha, I
knew that despite the strong front, Cross-Shot was affected by
the wholesale slaughter of the other trainees. Eager Ironfist
brings back good memories too, lol. Blizzard is awesome; pity
the mood is so tense. Tidal Wave-Howlback OTP! Also, holy crud
Feral's back in the Total Conflict. :o
Episode 5-Captured Predacons just SCREAM trap. Snaptrap's
sarcasm, as usual, is hilarious. The interactions between the
Maximals and Predacons are very interesting, all in all. Woot,
nice to see a whole bunch of returning characters! YAY FOR
HOWLBACK BEING EMOTIONALLY PERTURBED! Cross-Shot, thanks for
comforting her. Tidal Wave and Snaptrap insulting each other
lol. Holy crud Prophecy's prophecy... very interesting.
Episode 6-SUDDENLY DINOBOT AND CYNDER KEWL! Very interested in
all this Hollow Globe and Death stuff, and the planet being
under attack, very nice! Yay it's Bloodtide's team again! More
emotionally perturbed Howlback, OOH PALM GLOWING. Aww poor
Arcrise and her guilt, lol Cross-Shot always business with you.
Medusa's smirking, this is such a trap. Ha ha, breakout, knew
it! Poor Blizzard. HOLY **** DEATH WHY WOULD U DO THIS! D:

So good to finally have comments. XD
4 - yup, this ep was pretty much just setting everything up for
the rest of the season after the first three eps. Glad you like
Wiretrap, and yus, Cross-Shot is affected, she's just too proud.
I realise, having read over this season, there's themes of 'what
it means to be a warrior' in Cross-Shot and Rapticon. Snaptrap
flirting is just for shiggles. XD Skysquawk is a major badass so
of course they fear him! And Feral, yes, he's out there in the
       wider world. :P
5 - I loved the basic idea behind this ep. Pairs of characters
shut off to interact. Poor Howlback. XD Cross-Shot is nice like
that. And Prophecy's prophecy, mhm, yus. :3 Btw, 'structural
integrity' bit is Ironfist going 'so, you're plotting against
       Medusa, right?' :P
6 - XD Haha! Yup, all-out badassery here. Waspy getting hints of
       Legacies-verse. Arcrise going red-mode again. Cross-Shot
absolutely idolises the idea of being a hero. She's like Karen
in that way. :P Blizzard wasn't expecting that, yeah. XD As for
       "Death", keep watching. ;)

Episode 7-Ha ha flustered Waspy, though I support
Streetwise-Waspy most of all FYI. Headstrong seems like an
interesting dude, tell me his alternate mode plx. :D Ha,
Snaptrap and his verbal sparring as usual is awesome, nice to
see more of Bloodtide. Some intriguing things are going on with
Iguanus, that's for sure. Prophecy says funny things every other
sentence, and highly interesting tidbits and prophecies all the
other ones, I swear. Lol Headstrong really was hit with a warp
hammer. TIDAL WAVE-HOWLBACK OTP! xD Epic team-changing, and yay
return of Skysquawk after two-episode absence! :D
Episode 8-Headstrong wakes up, but more importantly Tidal Wave
       loving Howlback=confirmed! :D I'm seriously getting curious
about this Hollow Globe thing, and Medusa's strategizing is as
smart and cunning as always. Prophecy, as always, giving amazing
tidbits of info. Snaptrap verbal abuse never grows old,
Bloodtide meditates lol. Lol Waspy intrigue, lol Cross-Shot
having no idea how to help with love. Headstrong backstory, I
sincerely think there's more to him then just that. Oh noes
       Spinister! D: Also yay Streetwise!
Christmas Special-Very funny, as always, and I love all the
little tidbits about the new few things. Nova Supreme sounds
very interesting, as does the bringing-up of the Total Conflict
again, and all in all I had a good laugh and a good time with
       it.
Episode 9-AWWW WASPY DOESN'T KNOW WHO SHE IS BECAUSE TIMELINE
REBOOT! D: Fibonacci spiral, and Streetwise is epic as usual
hope they get together! :D Aww she left again! D: Hypnos-17 is a
funny planet name, nice briefing Rapticon. Predacons vs. Team
Death sounds like it's awesome! :D Aww all these feels @ Iguanus
talking about Spinister. Sail-Away r funneh. Wait, what the heck
is the Grave of Light? Medusa and that puzzle-box man. Predacons
retreat after Team Death unexpectedly join Maximals, dat Hollow
Globe hope I see it soon. Also, time for epic attack. :D

7 - WaspyxStreetwise is SOOOOO 2010. :P Seriously, though, odd
ship considering a) you never read them being together and b)
they've been seperated for over five years in-story and he moved
on. Headstrong is a rhino. Snaptrap and Bloodtide both own. :P
Iguanus, ooh yup. :3 Prophecy, absolutely, those lines are SO
prophetic it's crazy. XD As for Tidal WavexHowlback...
8 - XD Yup. Hollow Globe, just wait and see. ;) Bloodtide
meditating... dunno, focusing his crazy? XD Waspy is kinda like
a big brother figure to the trainees. Which works for later. ;)
Cross-Shot's lack of love experience will bear fruit one day.
Spinister, eh, who cares. XD Streetwise! The bot who changes
personality whenever I feel like it! :P You know she was a
       seeker at one point? XD
Christmas ep - paha, I had fun writing it too. XD Nova Supreme
(that's Magneto in X-Men: First Class and David in Prometheus,
btw) will indeed be epic. Downfall! Costa! Much to be excited
       about. :3
9 - seriously, dude, even if you're eh on Illyiara, Cloudraker
e.t.c... you'll change your ship one day. :P Iguanus re:
Spinister, eh, that's the point. XD And yus, the eavesdropping
thing made me chuckle on re-read. XDXD Grave of the Light was
       mentioned in season 1 finale. ;) Puzzle Box, keep watching;
Hollow Globe, keep watching. Warriors of Death joining their old
       allies? But of course. :P

Episode 10-Woohoo, backstory on Team Death! Ha, Dinobot being
reluctant about living, that is so him. This "Death" dude is
really interesting, and I'm curious to know what he finds wrong
with the universe. Poor Dinobot II, though it is cool what
Dinobot's been doing behind enemy lines. Lol bitter Cynder.
Claws definitely has an agenda unrelated to that of Death's.
Manterax again, a bunch of interesting markings, and I still
really want to see this Hollow Globe thing. I wonder how they've
been reformatted. Duality myth, cool, good luck Claws and
Laserbeak! Ha ha Prophecy being awesome again!
Episode 11-Ha ha, Medusa and that puzzle box even in the midst
of an attack! xD Sounds like an epic battle is having aboard the
Ravager, for sure. Ha, and Rapticon-Blizzard, nice. Confused
Uproar is confused. Emberscales vs. Psychosis, awesome! Epic
battle between Team Predacon Not On Ravager and Team Death! D:
Skysquawk's chest, Cross-Shot you bastard! D: Prophecy with
Iguanus intrigue, poor Divebomb and Sail-Away! xD Ooh, Team
Predacon Not On Ravager won! And Skysquawk is a badass yey! :D
       Endgame time!
Episode 12-Finally they're reaching this freaking Hollow Globe
thing, and Rapticon, love is cool and you should get with
Blizzard. Aha, Medusa is eerie as usual, and lol at Sail-Away
and Divebomb trying to hold off Arcrise. "Death" is badass, lol,
and wow not even Psychosis could do a thing to him. Rapticon,
stop denying your own feelings. :P Bloodtide's crew yey! :D
Icepick and Venecrom nuuuu D: But on that note, badass
Cross-Shot! :D Ha, knew Iguanus would do this. All the players
gathered in one room, and the identity is revealed! Am I
supposed to know who this is?

10 - yup, I said in Synergy that Dinobot had been disguised as
DBII for a few years, but I needed to retcon it for future
stuff. Everyone is bitter after 5 years of intense war. Claws is
quite independent anyway. Reformatting, dunno, just different.
:P Yup, duality myth will be explained. Claws is off. Prophecy
message is epic. XD This ep was gonna be the Epsilon-Zero and
Ravager flying through an asteroid field, and the Warriors
explaining their backstory to the other Maximals, but I decided
on-the-fly to do a full backstory ep. :3
       11 - of course, Medusa owns. :P Rapticon/Blizzard, indeed. :3
E.P. is a total badass, of course. XD Like Skysquawk got hurt
badly by that. :P Prophecy is nice to Iguanus, haha. Love
Divebomb and Sail-Away being comically owned. XD
12 - heehee, oh Rapticon. :P "Death" is epic, yup. Yus,
Cross-Shot (and Iguanus) wiping out Preds. :P Not to mention
Tidal Wave owning Snaptrap. As for Flare-Boom... yeah, see,
that's kinda a flaw considering you'd not read Infinity. He was
a Seeker who Starscream hired to snoop around for him. In the
end, he went batshit wanting to be Oblivion's right hand, and
Zero killed him with the zero-gravity gripdrive (finally giving
purpose to that bloody tool XD). The reveal falls flat to anyone
who's not seen Infinity. My apologies. :P

Episode 13-OKAY, HOLY **** WAS THIS AN AWESOME SEASON FINALE! In
chronological order, RIP Sail-Away, Divebomb, Headstrong, and
Rapticon. In order of importance, RIP Rapticon, Headstrong,
Divebomb, Sail-Away. But dang... just dang. Everything came to a
head, Medusa's finally solved the puzzle box. Rapticon's last
message very nearly broke my heart, I'm glad Howlback is still
alive, lol Flare-Boom died and I forgot to include him in the
RIP list. I'm really glad Snaptrap is alive, I'm curious what
the Hollow Globe does still, and all in all a super-epic season
finale! And yay for Feral and three of Death's warriors
rejoining the Total Conflict! Liek a bass! (BAWS)

Headstrong, the guy I introduced just cos I said he was in the
toyline, is more important than the comic-relief Preds who've
been around for a whole season? :P Puzzle box solved, but
Medusa's a little concerned. Glad Rapticon's message hit you,
I've had the idea of him dying for ages and knew it'd be
alongside his confession. Of course Howlback lives on. :P And
eh, Flare-Boom was being a badass. XD Considering he was like
the Decepticon equivalent of Tidal Wave for Infinity til the
end. Snaptrap also lives on, yup. I wanted to give him a revamp,
turtle mode isn't very useful out of water. Hence Tidal Wave
having upgraded from Metriorhynchus to crocodile. :P Hollow
Globe is a map of the universe which shows hidden pathways. That
was explained over the course of the season. XD And yup, main
Maximal cast for season 3 is same as this season, minus Rapticon
       and Uproar, plus Dinobot. :3

       First of many review posts.
First episode- oh snap, massive casualties, poor Arcrise, Medusa
knew all along @ Feral, wowsers. Also, Cross-Shot sounds
awesome. Can never have too many awesome femme-bots IMHO! And
archery= an instant-win. Wonder what Prophecy's on about with
Iguanus, and of course, the episode begins, and ends, with a
       BANG!
Second episode- all sorts of awesome stuff, dealing with the
fallout of the (literally!) explosive first episode, awesome new
information about the new timeline, YAY DINOBOT X3, tons of
great stuff. Gigatron is a great name, BTW. Seriously. The
Hollow Globe stuff is really interesting. And again,
       DINOBOOOOOT! ;D
