10 - yus, as noted, Vortex was gonna die anyway, so I figured it
should be by Rampage's claws if I wanted it to be quick.
Howlback, glad you like her! She's a warm and caring character,
it's just taken a few eps to get to that considering her initial
arc. Foreshadowing? Hm, dunno, it's moreso just the emerging
pattern that EVERY FEM-PRED HATES SPINISTER, pahahahaha. And we
       shall see re: Skysquawk.
11 - haha, the two are the replacements for Inferno and
Quickstrike, as it were. Their 'ability' is more just thinking
outside of the box. I figured we could use a slow episode since
we'd had a few action-packed ones in a row. Yah, Tidal Wave is
pretty selfless, but don't forget, he wubs Howlback, hahaha. And
       cliffhanger shall be expanded upon.
       More to come, naturally!

Episode 12 – One Last Effort
       Airdate: Saturday 6th October 2012
Synopsis: Alien wildlife runs away from the scene of a battle –
the Maximals are fighting two Predacons, Leadfoot and Plague.
Between Leadfoot’s dangerous hippopotamus mode charges and
Plague’s infectious touch, the team have their work cut out for
them, and the fight is cut short when Snaptrap and Flicksting
appear, Transwarping the criminals away. Blizzard is furious: in
the past couple of weeks, every criminal they encounter has been
taken back to Medusa. They still only have less than ten
Predacons captive on Fortress Maximus. As they return to the
Epsilon-Zero, Feral contacts them, informing them that Medusa
intends to get moving soon. Besides the Maximals’ captives,
there are only two Predacons left. He sends the coordinates of
Ravager to the team before heading off. Blizzard decides that
they shall fly to Fortress Maximus, repair it… and then fly it
to the Predacons’ location. All the while, Feral enters the
bridge of the Predacon ship, where a large number of criminals
are gathered. Even Psychosis and Rampage are here. Medusa,
however, is nowhere to be seen. The Maximals have managed some
makeshift repairs to Fortress Maximus, and the floating prison
is heading steadily towards the location of Ravager. As
Waspinator and Prophecy chat with Tidal Wave, Howlback and
Arcrise about being in the Elite Guard, the final two Predacons
are detected… and one is the highly dangerous Prometheon.
Blizzard sends Rapticon, Waspinator, Tidal Wave, Howlback and
Arcrise out in the Epsilon-Zero to attempt capture.
As the team heads towards the location of the last two
Predacons, Rapticon and Waspinator discuss what Blizzard may
have planned. They worry for her, although they will not tell
the others why. The Epsilon-Zero lands down on a small moon
covered in spider-webs; the team head out, tracing Prometheon’s
ankle brace, and happening to walk straight into a trap. Ambush,
a trapdoor spider Predacon, welcomes the Maximals, as the
hulking Prometheon appears. Fortress Maximus continues on its
journey, with Ironfist repeatedly performing maintenance scans
of the prison. Prophecy makes note of the data key, and warns
Blizzard that she may not make it out alive; the leader assures
her team-mate that she is well aware of this. As the Predacons
continue talking (and, in some cases, scrapping), Feral
discretely hides the signals of Ambush and Prometheon to prolong
their recovery. Spinister approaches him, asking him for
assistance with setting up a trace-link barrier. He follows, as
Flicksting watches on, sneering. As Ambush reprimands the
Maximals’ perceived entitlement to do as they please across the
universe, Arcrise manages to free herself; she decides to attack
not Ambush, but Prometheon, keeping him busy (albeit only just)
as her team-mates also escape. They, too, start to fight,
although Prometheon alone is more than a match for all five of
       them.
Medusa is in her quarters aboard Ravager, handling some sort of
ancient puzzle box, when Psychosis enters, apologising for not
greeting her earlier. The fembot notes that he should actually
apologise for his prolonged absence; he notes that he was busy
training Rampage, while Medusa herself was simply waiting for
fugitives to make their way to her. He enquires about the puzzle
box, and she informs him that it is of Valoranian origin.
Snaptrap and Flicksting enter, noting that they had been tracing
the locations of the last two Predacons (Snaptrap actually
states that he alone had been doing the job, with Flicksting
correcting him), and the signals recently vanished. Medusa
orders the two to investigate. As Ironfist analyses the scan
data from Fortress Maximus, he realises that the secondary
docking bay had been used shortly before they returned… and was
vacated shortly after the Epsilon-Zero left. However, there is
no data on the ship that was there. A pensive Blizzard states
that it does not matter. As Prometheon and Ambush continue their
assault on the Maximals, who do their best to fight back using
cunning, a new arrival attacks the larger Predacon, finally
managing to beat him back. As Prometheon recovers, the Maximals
realise that the cavalry is Emberscales Prime.

Woot Emberscales Prime arrival! I wonder what Plague and
Prometheon transform in to, and also what Valronians are. Epic
chapter all around, seems like it had some nice action, and
trapdoor spiders are cool. And why is Prometheon highly
       dangerous?

       Yus! :P
Plague, not sure what he turns in to. Another of my 'Four
Horsemen' character ideas that I didn't really come up with
ideas for, like Sinnertwin and Vortex. Prometheon transforms
into an amphiptere. Some badass-looking mythical beast. :P
Valoranians? Oooooh, you'll find out... >:D
Yus to both action and trapdoor spiders. :3 I've had my fill of
spider-bots, what with Tarantulas, Blackarachnia, Arachnatak,
       Spinister and now Ambush. XD
Why's Prometheon so bad? Remember Nocturn from Bionicle? Dude
who managed to shatter his own island cos he hit it in the right
way? Think him. :P But a bigger brain. Also, cos he was
originally gonna be the big bad. Then I thought up a better
idea. Which may be related to something else I've mentioned in
       this post. ;)
Season 1 finale (under re-worked plans) next week! :3

       Episode 13 – Mission Status
       Airdate: Saturday 13th October 2012
Synopsis: As Emberscales Prime greets Rapticon, Waspinator,
Tidal Wave, Howlback and Arcrise, Prometheon attacks him from
behind. The two bots brawl, equally matched, as the rest of the
Maximals attempt to apprehend Ambush. Their attempts fail, as
Ambush continually manages to trick them; nevertheless,
Emberscales Prime manages to beat Prometheon down. The titanic
Predacon begins to rise again, however, and only Arcrise
notices… unleashing her power, she destroys him, before
realising what she has done. Snaptrap and Flicksting Transwarp
in, noting that one of the signals has just vanished, and upon
noticing Emberscales Prime, they quickly snatch Ambush and
Transwarp back to Ravager. Arcrise apologises profusely to
Emberscales Prime, but he calms her down, not holding it against
       her. He then enquires as to where the rest of the team are;
Rapticon simply says ‘Gigas Drive’. Ambush is greeted by Medusa,
who welcomes him to her crew, before leading him, Snaptrap and
Flicksting to bridge. Here, she makes a speech, announcing that
they will soon be headed to the Grave of the Light, but before
she can explain further, the earth shudders. Fortress Maximus
has landed, and Medusa orders her Predacons to prepare. Aboard
Fortress Maximus, Blizzard orders Ironfist and Prophecy to head
outside, while she gets the facility ready. Both of the Maximals
are concerned, but Blizzard insists, rushing them off before
inserting the data key into a port. Flying the Epsilon-Zero
towards the location of Fortress Maximus, the other Maximals
worry about the inevitable conflict. Tidal Wave, Howlback and
Arcrise insist on having ‘Gigas Drive’ explained to them, but
Emberscales Prime is hesitant to do so. When Howlback asks if it
is connected to the experiment that Blizzard undertook, Rapticon
snaps at her to stop poking her nose. Waspinator tries to help
him calm down, assuring him that Blizzard will be OK, as
       Howlback apologises.
The data key finishes its task, granting Blizzard access to
some sort of remote control; taking it, she heads out of the
ship, all the while telling Ironfist and Prophecy to attempt to
draw the Predacons out of Ravager. Prophecy, with some
difficulty, creates a small army of energy duplicates; Medusa is
not fooled, and has her crew fire on the ‘army’. The
Epsilon-Zero arrives just then, with the Maximals aboard rushing
out – noticing Emberscales Prime, many of the vengeful Predacons
charge out of the ship, in spite of Medusa ordering them not to.
As most of the Maximals fight back, Rapticon pleads with
Blizzard to not follow through with her plan. She refuses,
stating that their mission is in too dire a status now.
Activating the control, she summons a large mech suit from
Fortress Maximus; hopping into it, she then activates Fortress
Maximus’ assault mode. It shifts, transforming slowly into a
gargantuan robot form. In her mech suit, Blizzard hops on top,
with the entire suit transforming into a head. Attaching on,
Fortress Maximus’ assault mode is fully engaged. The Predacons
quickly start to fret, but the Maximals (especially Emberscales
Prime and Arcrise) manage to keep most of them busy. Only a few,
including Iguanus, Spinister, Snaptrap, Flicksting, Psychosis,
Rampage, Skysquawk, Feral, Divebomb, Sail-Away and Ambush,
remain aboard Ravager with Medusa. The leader snarls that if
Blizzard does what it seems she is about to, they will leave
       without the other Predacons.
Tidal Wave, Howlback and Arcrise are amazed at Fortress
Maximus, but the Elite Guard members warn that when Blizzard
first attempted this, she very nearly died. All the while,
Blizzard activates a massive central vortex in Fortress Maximus’
chest, which sucks in all registered criminals. The battle field
is quickly cleaned of Predacons, while the engines of Ravager
start up. The ship lifts up, and starts to activate a vortex
much like that which Fortress Maximus fell through, but Blizzard
manages to strike the ship, damaging its engines. It careens
through its vortex, vanishing off to parts unknown. The Maximals
are cautiously optimistic, as Fortress Maximus doubles over in
agony. Blizzard manages to crawl out of its head, before
falling; Emberscales Prime transforms and catches her mid-air.
Landing down, he notes that the recaptured criminals should be
automatically sorted, and suggests that Rapticon, Waspinator,
Prophecy and Ironfist track Medusa while he and the new recruits
move Fortress Maximus back to its regular location, and take
Blizzard back to Cybertron. The group are all uneasy, but
Emberscales Prime makes it an order, and wishes the Epsilon-Zero
crew luck. Prophecy seems uneasy as they head off, noting to
herself that ‘it’s not too early anymore’. On the temple planet
Manterax, four shrouded bots are analysing carvings on the
walls… they work out as coordinates to the Hollow Globe. The
four bots are Cynder, Razorbeak, Abydos and Dinobot.

When has a season 2 EVER continued on directly from a season 1?
:P Sorry! Hang on in there, you'll get your fix soon.
Yup, came up with that idea ages ago. XD Very pleased with it.
EP (as Prophecy calls him) owns, yus. :P
Gigas Drive is to do with Fortress Maximus. Rapticon saying that
was basically an easy way of saying 'Blizzard's about to
activate Fortress Maximus again', since when she previously did
it, she was testing said Gigas Drive within it. ;)
And eh. XD More great villains to come. Trust me. >:D
