But yeah, this new cast member stuff is awesome. Feral seems
cool, looking forward to finding out his past. Awesome Prophecy
as usual, new Predacon, and Arcrise being all dimension-y. Good
       stuff.

Yah, Feral's gonna be kinda Dinobot-like, but I conjured his
backstory while writing this ep. Gonna be fun. :P Prophecy,
       likewise.
Skysquawk? Oooh, he'll be fun. :P
And Arcrise, yep, just trying to push all these little plot
       lines along. :3

       Episode 9 – High Volatility
       Airdate: Saturday 15th September 2012
Synopsis: Prophecy and Feral are talking in the former’s room.
Apparently, Feral has been fighting in the Total Conflict, and
had met Prophecy shortly before she first joined the Maximals.
The larger bot is the first Cybertronian from another universe
to enter this re-worked timeline, and he found it incredibly
difficult to enter, hence his crash onto the jungle planet.
Waspinator enters the room, and tells them that they are about
to land on a sulphurous planet. On the planet, Skysquawk is
thoroughly beating Inferno and Quickstrike, intent on remaining
‘free’. He tells them that he has been waiting too long for
escape, and he refuses to become subservient. The two Predacons
insist that they can help him, as they see his true potential as
a leader, more so than in Medusa. Amused, he stops attacking
them, and lets them follow him… he has seen the Epsilon-Zero
land, and is going to confront the Maximals. Aboard the ship,
Blizzard announces that the criminal on this planet is
Skysquawk: identified by an advanced ankle brace attached to
him, as he is one of the most dangerous criminals. She tells
Tidal Wave, Howlback and Arcrise that they, being untrained,
will stay on the ship, while the rest of the bots shall head
out. The moment they do, Skysquawk swoops down on them in
vulture mode, transforming at the last moment and slamming into
       the group.
The six Maximals start to fight back against Skysquawk, but
even in a six-to-one battle, Skysquawk is displaying the upper
hand. Inferno and Quickstrike watch from the distance, wanting
to assist, although Skysquawk had told them not to. Medusa
attempts to contact them, but they choose to ignore her. As
Ironfist unloads a slew of ammo on the new Predacon, Blizzard
orders Waspinator to make an aerial strike. Transforming, the
hornet-bot hovers up, then back down, stinging Skysquawk.
Angered, he keeps Waspinator close to himself and uses him as a
shield against Ironfist’s weapon-fire. Rapticon and Feral then
attack, with the latter managing to cut Waspinator loose.
Blizzard lines up a pin-point strike with her Blazefire Saber in
gun form, but it barely leaves a scratch on Skysquawk. Howlback
and Arcrise are desperate to help, but Tidal Wave reminds them
that, without experience, they have little chance of being of
any help. Nevertheless, Arcrise phases through the ship’s floor,
and watches as Prophecy tries and fails to damage Skysquawk with
a blast of energy. She then mimics this, albeit with a much
larger blast of energy which not only blows away all the
combatants, but also rocks the ship. As she approaches the
recovering Skysquawk, he smirks at her, pleased to find a more
       challenging opponent.
Aggravated, Medusa orders Snaptrap and Flicksting to head out
and investigate (Iguanus and Spinister, working in the bridge,
seem annoyed at their lack of duty). Although the two are still
on poor terms with one another, they Transwarp onto the
sulphurous planet; here, they immediately witness Arcrise and
Skysquawk battling, with the other Maximals trying to assist
where possible. Tidal Wave and Howlback also watch from the
ship, with Howlback expressing her concern for her team-mates.
As Arcrise manages to gain the upper hand against Skysquawk,
Inferno and Quickstrike rush in to help; enraged, their new
leader quickly kills them, making clear that he never needs
help. Ironically, the distraction gives Arcrise time to create
an immense explosion right by the Predacon, sending him flying,
heavily damaged. Snaptrap and Flicksting approach him, telling
him that they can help repair him, but he stubbornly refuses. As
Flicksting goes to take him anyway, Snaptrap notes the irony,
which Flicksting refutes. Just as they prepare to leave, Feral
approaches them, telling the Predacons that he wishes to join
them, pointing out that, in the chaos, he took the opportunity
to stab Prophecy. Cautious, the two nevertheless allow him to
join them as they Transwarp back to Ravager, Skysquawk
helplessly accompanying them. Blizzard is enraged at Feral’s
betrayal, but as Prophecy dissipates “Feral’s sword” (actually
an energy construct) and explains that he’s going deep-cover in
       the Predacons for them.

Oh noes, Quickstrike and Inferno. D: Epic fight scene, this
stuff is epic. :D Skysquawk is an AWESOME villain, more intrigue
from Arcrise with her badassery, and Feral is outside of the
       Rise timeline whoa. :o

Yeah, I figured I might as well kill them now since they were
gonna die anyway. They'll be replaced, don't fret, haha.
Yep! Skysquawk is our Starscream proxy, but he's a much more
effective warrior. Expect some great stuff with him, haha.
And indeed, I figured it'd make a good backstory for Feral. Give
him reason to be in-the-know with Prophecy. And also allows him
to blend easier with the other bots who know, who we'll be
meeting again in season 2 (y'know, Gigatron, Nightscream,
Firecloud and so on). And he's going deep-cover cos I never did
wanna lug him around. Plus it gives a more interesting scenario
of having a Maximal working undercover for a bit.

Episode 10 – Shifting Like Sand
       Airdate: Saturday 22nd September 2012
Synopsis: The Maximals aboard the Epsilon-Zero are watching a
live visual feed from Feral, as he is toured around Ravager by
Snaptrap. All the while, Prophecy is using the feed to construct
a model of the Predacon ship out of energy, managing a rather
good job. Feral asks Snaptrap where Medusa is; the Predacon
remarks that she is dealing with Skysquawk. Elsewhere on the
ship, Skysquawk awakens within a CR chamber, still damaged, with
Medusa waiting. She informs him that she wishes to talk,
regarding his potential allegiance with her team. If he chooses
to join her, she will activate the CR chamber to repair him. If
he refuses… the CR chamber has been outfitted with a torture
mode. As the Maximals watch Feral enter the large weapons
chamber (with Ironfist getting excited at the prospect of seeing
new forms of weaponry), another Predacon signal is detected on a
nearby moon. Rapticon pilots the ship as Ironfist pays close
attention to the Predacons’ weapons outfit. Flicksting
approaches Iguanus while he works; she enquires about Spinister,
asking about her origins. The mechanic explains that she was
originally a Life-Stalker, a group of Predacons who prowled the
aftermaths of battles to find, torture and kill the
barely-living. Flicksting ponders this, then heads off, leaving
Iguanus confused; all the while, Spinister has been listening to
       the conversation nearby.
Rapticon, Waspinator, Tidal Wave and Howlback head out onto the
surface of the planet, which is covered with low-lying plants
and grasses. The four quickly notice a large group of
insect-like creatures approaching, all with rotor-like wings.
They all fly overhead… except for one, who quickly transforms.
He is the Predacon, Vortex, and he immediately attacks the
group, who fight back. Medusa insists to Skysquawk that her
plans will work in his favour, granting him the chance to do
whatever he wishes in return for a short period of servitude. He
asks for how long, and Medusa simply smirks. The Maximals on the
moon continue their fight with Vortex, with the four each using
their own tactics to try and defeat their opponent. However,
Vortex appears to be well-trained in combat, and the Maximals
are struggling to fight him. However, Howlback recognises his
movements, and pre-empts him, managing to knock him back…
straight into the eviscerating blades of Rampage, who tears him
apart. Howlback quickly takes a defensive step in front of the
others, as Rapticon calls in for back-up.
As Feral continues his tour through Ravager, Flicksting passes
through and immediately yells at Snaptrap about his persistence
in the details. As the two argue, viewed by the Maximals,
Blizzard sends Ironfist and Arcrise out to assist the others.
Indeed, Psychosis and Rampage have the Maximals surrounded in
beast mode, threateningly; the group prepare to fight back, as
Ironfist and Arcrise appear too. The battle escalates quickly,
with Arcrise once again experimenting with her powers in an
attempt to keep the two predators back, while Howlback targets
Rampage, only for Tidal Wave to hold her back. He insists that
simply attacking her will not help, and the arts teacher
reluctantly agrees. Medusa leaves Skysquawk alone, informing him
that he shall be healed soon, as the active CR chamber works on
fully-restoring the bitter Predacon. With Psychosis and Rampage
struggling against Arcrise and the other Maximals, they finally
give in, retreating (for now). The Maximals return to the
Epsilon-Zero, and Howlback notes that, before they head off, she
has an announcement to make: she wants to join the Elite Guard.

Inferno and Quickstrike die yet again, awww...
On the flipside, Skysquawk is an interesting new villain, we get
more scheming from Medusa, Vortex sounds pretty badass despite
dying and all, more Arcrise, deep undercover Maximal, and more
Howlback character development, dang this is all so freaking
       awesome! ;D

Haha, yeah, I've got replacements due for them. It just feels
like I was keeping them just to have them around.
Skysquawk is the competent man's Starscream, of course he's
awesome! Hahaha. Medusa is just gonna get more and more awesome
as we go on. Vortex, yus, I think I've figured part of his
transformation, hahaha. But he was one of the criminals destined
to die. And I just had Rampage do it, pahaha.
Arcrise, oooh yus, she's over her constriction-trauma now.
Pushing herself as much as she can. Feral is undercover cos I
didn't know what to do with him, pahahaha. And Howlback? That's
one of the 'new elements added into the ep for the upcoming
alterations to running plans'. Keep an eye on it.
Glad you're enjoying it! We're barely getting started.

       Episode 11 – The Elite
       Airdate: Saturday 29th September 2012
Synopsis: Howlback, Tidal Wave and Arcrise are waiting outside
Blizzard’s quarters aboard the Epsilon-Zero. Apparently, they
are going to discuss joining the Elite Guard; Howlback states
her belief that the other two only wish to join to keep an eye
on her, and is taken aback a little when Tidal Wave confirms it.
He does not fully trust her to manage on her own, and believes
her to be too driven by revenge, but she argues back that it is
more about being trained to deal with combat situations. Arcrise
notes that the two obviously care about one another a lot, and
adds that they were the first people she met, so she wishes to
stay with them no matter where they go. Blizzard has them enter
her room – on the desk is a holographic projector,
live-streaming from Cybertron. The leader explains that she
managed to patch it up and has already briefed the Elite Guard
on what has occurred with Fortress Maximus. The holo-projector
activates… Emberscales Prime appears, and introduces himself and
the Elite Guard to the three potential new recruits. Meanwhile,
on a cliff-face on one of the system’s planets, a Dimorphodon
swoops down, skimming the water below before returning to land,
and transforming. The Predacon, Divebomb, informs his ally, the
Dimetrodon Sail-Away, that he still does not believe himself to
be capable of carrying him across the sea. The two argue, until
they notice the Epsilon-Zero flying over-head. Aboard, Rapticon
instructs Waspinator, Ironfist and Prophecy to be careful, as
       the two detected signals are together and could be dangerous;
the trio then leap from the ship, with Waspinator transforming,
Ironfist using a massive weapon as a jetpack, and Prophecy
forming an energy sphere around herself for impact.
Divebomb and Sail-Away transform and prepare to fight as the
Maximals land down, but between Ironfist using a stun-gun on
them and Prophecy ensnaring them with energy shackles, the
conflict is over before it begins. Rapticon lands the ship down,
visible applauding (in a sardonic manner) the trio. As
Emberscales Prime continues his interview, Blizzard analyses the
Fortress Maximus blue-prints, and the data key from the prison.
As the Maximals continue to answer the Prime, he realises that
only Howlback is truly interested in becoming a member of the
Elite Guard. Tidal Wave clarifies that he simply wishes to keep
Howlback safe, and that while he does trust her, he wishes to be
by her side no matter what as they have little else now.
Impressed, Emberscales Prime nevertheless warns that joining the
Elite Guard is not something to be taken lightly. The two
Predacon captives are escorted into the ship’s brig as Rapticon
prepares to fly back to Fortress Maximus; the ship leaves the
planet, as the two Predacons smirk at one another. They combine
seemingly useless attachments on their bodies to create a
bi-polarising lance… with which they break themselves out.
Transforming, they damage the brig room, before shutting
themselves back in their prison. Waspinator quickly rushes to
the room as the damage is picked up, and the two Predacons tell
him that there is some kind of cloaked creature aboard the ship.
Emberscales Prime gives Tidal Wave, Howlback and Arcrise a
preliminary clearance on joining the Elite Guard, informing them
that they shall attend an assessment session when possible. The
trio are glad to hear this, and Blizzard sends the trio out; as
they leave, she asks Emberscales Prime for clearance to use
Fortress Maximus’ assault mode, as a precaution. Reluctantly,
the Prime does so, but warns her to be careful. Waspinator has
Ironfist scan through the ship – and indeed, there are 11
life-signals aboard the ship. The two quickly head out to its
location, although it is rapidly moving around. As it finally
heads into the brig, the two Maximals enter, believing they have
the perpetrator cornered… except the ‘life-signal’ is actually
an automated decoy, and Divebomb and Sail-Away, once again free,
manage to lock the two Maximals up. They lock onto the Transwarp
signal from Ravager, and manage to Transwarp out just as
Prophecy enters the brig. She apologises for her lateness, and
frees her companions, who are a little embarrassed at being
fooled. Tidal Wave, Howlback and Arcrise discuss their potential
acceptance into the Elite Guard; Howlback once again tells Tidal
Wave that he does not have to join alongside her, but he notes
that he actually has an interest in joining now. The two are
obviously happy, although Arcrise seems a little distant, once
again seeing her hand as being yellow. Out in space, a
spacecraft is headed towards Fortress Maximus.

In regards to 10, epic. Vortex was a hi-and-die character but he
seemed like a cool one. Howlback development is always good, and
I'm rather fond of her now. I see some foreshadowing regarding
Flicksting and Spinister, and the independent Skysquawk... I
doubt he'll stay under Medusa's control for long.
11 ramped up the epic by introducing a fun-seeming duo of
Predacons with epic alternate modes and a cool ability. Tidal
Wave really is a selfless guy it seems as well, lol. Hope
Howlback's desire for revenge doesn't consume her, and EPIC
       CLIFFHANGER.
