Heheh, well, I'd rather read too much into it and be wrong than
not enjoy the story at all. ^_^

Killipede is an awesome name, and Arthropleutra TF for the win.
I liked this chapter, epic fight scene, and I like the
description of the planet they're on as well. Good meaty
       chapter.

Thanks! It's now getting to a point where I have to figure how
to make an episode more than just 'land on planet, explore
       planet, PREDACON, fight, done'.
Glad you liked the Arthropleura alt-mode, there are more
       prehistoric alt-modes coming!

Episode 7 – The Harrowing Silence
       Airdate: Saturday 1st September
Synopsis: The Epsilon-Zero is headed towards a small, hollow
moon where the latest Predacon signal lies. Blizzard is sat by
herself, analysing the data of the planet while Rapticon pilots
the ship; he tries to strike up conversation with her, but it is
rather awkward. Quickly changing the subject, Rapticon notes
that they shall be landing on the moon within five minutes.
Blizzard calls the other Maximals to the bridge. Meanwhile,
Medusa is also viewing data, for what appears to be a complex
prison system. She quickly closes the file when Snaptrap
approaches her, suggesting that they go to further methods to
ensure that the other Predacons join the crew; he puts himself
forward as an emissary, heading out to the varying Predacons and
bringing them back to Ravager, noting himself as the only
Predacon to join Medusa’s crew so far. In spite of Snaptrap’s
arrogance, Medusa accepts this, sending Snaptrap out to the
location of the Maximals to prove his worth. With the Maximals
assembled, Blizzard orders Rapticon, Ironfist and Howlback to
join her as the search party, while Tidal Wave and Prophecy will
continue assisting Arcrise after her traumatic experience during
the last mission. The four head out, immediately finding that
the surface is riddled with crater-like holes giving them access
below; as they pass through them, they find that the cavernous
inside of the moon does not allow sound to pass. Ironfist
quickly gets to work on a neural comm.-link, while Snaptrap
       Transwarps in elsewhere.
Deeper within the moon, the new Predacon – Flicksting – is
meditating in the silence. In doing so, she manages to sense the
five new arrivals; she ceases her meditation and heads out to
confront them. Ironfist finishes the comm.-links, supplying them
to the others. Blizzard then suggests they split up, with her
and Howlback taking the lower regions and Rapticon and Ironfist
taking the upper regions. As they split up, Howlback notices a
scar across Blizzard’s back. Snaptrap loads a handheld device,
with which he manages to locate Flicksting’s signal. He heads
out to find her. Rapticon and Ironfist continue through the
higher regions of the cavernous moon; Ironfist points out that
Rapticon is annoyed that he did not get to go with Blizzard,
which the aggressive second-in-command denies. Amused, Ironfist
notes that he always notices the little things, and he knew that
Rapticon liked Blizzard from the moment the two met. Flustered
as much as angered, Rapticon continues to deny it, just as they
run into Snaptrap. A silent fight breaks out, the only sound
being the conversation between the Maximals which, of course,
Snaptrap cannot hear. Meanwhile, Howlback enquires about the
scar on Blizzard’s back; the leader is at first tentative to
respond, but then explains that there are costs to leadership.
From nowhere, they are attacked by Flicksting.
As two fights occur within the moon, the Maximals continue
their conversations amongst battle tactics. Rapticon insists
that he has no romantic feelings for Blizzard, but Ironfist
deduces that he is simply afraid of his emotions, considering he
is typically nothing more than an aggressive warrior. As the
truth dawns on him, Snaptrap takes the opportunity to down him,
forcing him through the ground and into the level below.
Meanwhile, Blizzard explains that early on in her Elite Guard
career, she volunteered for an experiment. The process almost
killed her, the scar being the proof. Howlback asks how that is
related to leadership, just as Flicksting attacks her. Blizzard
notes that it was her flawed leadership of her team in training
camp that lead to her taking up the experiment. Flicksting
patches herself into the neural comm.-link network via her
stinger tail all the while, and responds that she knows who was
involved in the slaughter of Blizzard’s trainee team-mates. The
Predacons’ unrefined break-in to the network means that Rapticon
and Ironfist also hear her; the latter leads Rapticon towards
the source of the intrusion, with Snaptrap in-tow. As Blizzard
frees Howlback from Flicksting’s hold, Rapticon and Ironfist
appear. Flicksting attempts to attack Blizzard, but Rapticon
fends her off. Snaptrap quickly grabs Flicksting and Transwarps
away, leaving the Maximals somewhat defeated, and Rapticon
startled at his newly-realised emotions in the face of saving
Blizzard. As Snaptrap and Flicksting materialise aboard Ravager,
the scorpion fembot turns on Snaptrap, yelling that she was
close to finishing off the Maximals. Medusa interrupts, telling
her that she will have the opportunity to do so soon.

I was thinking Flicksting was a wasp until I saw "scorpion
fembot". Lol hindsight. Epic chapter, the fight scenes sound
fun, and the enemies are starting to come together. First this
lady was meditating and then after transwarping from the fight
she was complaining loudly to Medusa... interesting change of
attitude. This experiment... I get the feeling we'll see more
about it. Good chapter, good chapter.

Hahaha, Flicksting having a spiritual side doesn't mean she's
all calm. :P And she was yelling at Snaptrap. ;)
I'm really pleased with his chapter. It feels really tight,
giving Blizzard and Rapticon development and having a really
interesting location, as well as building a point of Snaptrap
heading out to get the other Predacons. I also like the note of
Snaptrap's arrogance. In my mind, he's a bit like Knock Out. XD
The experiment... hoooo, yes, you'll see more. ;)

       Episode 8 – Feral
       Airdate: Saturday 8th September 2012
       Synopsis: Snaptrap is giving Flicksting a tour of Ravager;
although she generally retains her calm demeanour, she is
evidently not enamoured with her fellow Predacon. Medusa watches
on the surveillance cameras with Inferno and Quickstrike at her
side, and suggests to the two that they take the next mission to
recover a convict. Her reasoning is simple: Inferno and
Quickstrike are expendable and so the other Predacons not being
fond of them is of less concern in the long run. The Maximals
are heading for the location of another Predacon, when they pick
up a new signal. Rapticon suggests they ignore it, but Prophecy
becomes desperate for them to investigate, even messing with the
ship’s controls. Blizzard reluctantly clears the investigation,
but orders Prophecy to her room until they land. Confused,
Rapticon asks why they should bother with the signal, but
Blizzard argues that Prophecy’s “intuition” has never been wrong
before. As the ship heads down towards a tropical rainforest
planet far below, Prophecy creates dual blades out of energy in
her room, before dissipating them. As the Epsilon-Zero lands
down, Blizzard, Waspinator, Tidal Wave and Arcrise exit the
ship, with Prophecy sneaking off after them. The planet is
obviously brimming with life; thankfully, the four are all
carrying detectors built by Ironfist to help them track the
signal. However, Prophecy manages to get herself distracted with
a particularly colourful flower, and loses track of the others…
just as a large, tiger-like creature approaches her.
The other Maximals continue on their trek, unaware that
Prophecy was ever with them. Tidal Wave talks with Arcrise, who
is still obviously a little traumatised from her encounter with
Killipede. He tries to explain that life is not always simple,
but she reasons that she knows this, as she can feel every tiny
string vibration in all that exists, and the chaos and visceral
beauty of existence. Calmly, the mysterious fembot says that she
was simply shocked at the attack, and is OK now, although Tidal
Wave evidently does not believe her. Prophecy talks with the
tiger, referring to it as Feral, and tells it that there is
nothing to be afraid of. Nevertheless, the animal lashes out at
her; unwilling to hurt it, she transforms and climbs into a
tree. As Inferno and Quickstrike head off to find another
Predacon, Iguanus completes his work on boosting the signal,
noting to Spinister that it is now tuned only to the Predacon
captives, and will reach only as far as the outer reaches of
this star system. As Snaptrap brings Flicksting to the room, the
new Predacon seems to find a sense of camaraderie with
Spinister, much to Iguanus’ bemusement. As Blizzard’s team
reaches the source of the signal, they find only some bits of
machinery; Arcrise strings them together, and they project a
hologram. In the message, a bot called Feral asks for
assistance, noting that he will soon lose himself to his
       powerful bestial instincts.
All the while, the tiger (now obviously the same Feral as in
the hologram) tries to attack Prophecy in her tree; the fembot
praises her choice in alternate mode, as Aadorean cats are adept
amongst the canopies. She starts moving from tree to tree, with
Feral following on the ground, predatory instincts focused on
her. Thankfully, the Maximals are headed in the opposite
direction, and as they meet, Prophecy identifies the tiger for
them. Blizzard, Waspinator and Arcrise quickly transform, with
the leader engaging in feline combat with Feral, all the while
trying to reason to his better nature. Tidal Wave contacts
Rapticon, Ironfist and Howlback aboard the ship, asking if they
have any ideas on how to help some struggling with beast mode
instincts. Although Ironfist is about to suggest some complex
device, Rapticon says that all it takes is reminding him of the
greatest moment of his past. Tidal Wave notes that no one knows
anything about him, just as Prophecy leaps down from the canopy,
transforms, and reminds Feral of ‘the Broken Fields of Verillian
CVX’. Feral freezes, allowing an injured Blizzard to back away
and transform to robot mode. After a few moments of visibly
struggling with his own bestial nature, Feral manages to
transform, and thanks the Maximals for their help. Waspinator
asks how he got here, as there is obviously no ship on the
planet, and the Maximal states that he does not know. Blizzard
explains their mission and offers him a place on the ship, and
although he notes that he would rather continue training on the
planet, Prophecy insists he join them. As the other Maximals
head off, Prophecy and Feral share a knowing glance with one
another. Meanwhile, Inferno and Quickstrike are on a sulphurous
planet, when they encounter the Predacon they seek… Skysquawk.
