Episode 0 – An Unearthly Child
Airdate: Saturday 14th July 2012
Synopsis: Earth, year 2455. One hundred and fifty years have
passed since the Unicron Wars, in which the Oracle was saved
from destruction during the final battle. After this, the Matrix
of Leadership – dormant in the planet’s core – shone a light far
out into space, heralding a faraway future Prime. So explains
Tidal Wave to a group of young Maximals: he is a teacher,
assigned to giving Cybertronian history to Earth-born
protoforms. Finishing for the day, he heads off home,
accompanied by arts teacher Howlback. The two discuss the
universe beyond Cybertron’s reach (which is apparently a few
local star systems), with Howlback longing to explore, but Tidal
Wave uncomfortable with the unknown. Their discussion is cut
short by the arrival of their mutual friend, Bash, a
construction worker. It seems as though the society on Earth is
working well as a partnership between humans and Maximals. As
Howlback and Bash depart for their homes, Tidal Wave continues
on, lost in his thoughts about space, and ends up walking into a
silver and blue fembot… Arcrise. He asks who she is, and she
recites her name, before asking if he knows who she is.
Confused, he repeats her name back at her, but she corrects him,
asking who she is as a person, because she feels blank, has no
memories. He tells her that he has to head home, and she follows
him, much to his confusion. From a distance, a Predacon watches.
Tidal Wave opens his door, reluctantly allowing Arcrise in too.
She stares in wonder at his home, as Tidal Wave asks her to
explain everything she knows. Her knowledge is heavily limited:
there was incredible light, and everything running through her
mind as it formed, and then she was in a field. She walked for a
few days until she reached the city. A knock at the door halts
the conversation, and as Tidal Wave goes to answer, Arcrise
hides. The Predacon is at the door, introducing himself as
Monsoon and asking if he has seen a strange fembot. Tidal Wave
lies that he has not, and Monsoon grabs him by the neck,
demanding the truth. Arcrise quickly shoots energy at the
Predacon, knocking him away, grabbing Tidal Wave’s hand and
leading him out of the house. Monsoon gives chase. Tidal Wave is
astounded, asking Arcrise what she hoped to achieve and where
they are going; the fembot stops, asking Tidal Wave where they
should head, as Monsoon catches up with them. Arcrise confronts
him as Tidal Wave watches; the fight leads from the rooftops
down to the middle of the road, causing car crashes. Howlback
watches on TV, and upon noticing Tidal Wave, she contacts Bash.
Multiple police officers (both human and Maximal) appear,
trying to break up the fight, but Monsoon turns on them, and
Arcrise works on defending them. Howlback and Bash locate Tidal
Wave at the roadside, and he informs them of the events up to
now. The two quickly transform into wolf and Ankylosaur modes,
although Tidal Wave is reluctant to do so (his alternate mode is
a Metriorhynchus, all but useless on land), and join the fray.
Noticing the transformations (as Monsoon, too, transforms into a
torrent-fowl), Arcrise reconfigures her standard form, giving
herself transformation capabilities, and then turns into a
phoenix, spouting blue flames from her wings. Noticing this,
Monsoon quickly knocks Howlback out of the fight, and as Bash
and Tidal Wave tend to her, he turns his attentions back to
Arcrise. He informs her that she is an anomalous energy point in
the universe, and he has abandoned his medic post to locate and
study her. Arcrise informs him that she has enough of a concept
of free will to know that his desire is wrong, and proceeds to
release an insane amount of blue energy. As the energy fades,
Monsoon has been frozen in place, and Arcrise is at first
nowhere to be seen, only to reform from specks of dust floating
in the air. As the police swoop in to apprehend Monsoon, Arcrise
swiftly leaves the scene, as Tidal Wave, Howlback and Bash
watch. Tidal Wave suddenly states that they have to follow her,
much to the surprise of his friends. He heads off after Arcrise,
Howlback and Bash following.

Firstly...that bit at the end, BWHAHAHAHAHAHHA. Prophecy, you
ROCK! And in regards to the rest of the episode, EPIC! Arcrise
seems awesome, and I love the rest of the cast! YAY FOR
OCEAN-GOING CROCODILE ALTERNATE MODE(CAN'T SPELL NAME!). Tidal
Wave seems like a chill guy.

Yup, Prophecy is forever epic. And those five, plus the four
newbies, are the hero cast.
Arcrise IS awesome, yes, and she'll be getting development over
the series, of course. Tidal Wave, I love the Metriorhynchus and
haven't used it before. I had a dolphin (Echo; his evolver form
incorporated both Dorudon and Basilosaurus, IIRC) and a shark
(Gigabyte) so I wanted something new. Tidal Wave was named cos
at one point I was gonna do Digimon season 1 inspired cast.
Emberscales Prime, Uproar, Cloudraker, Waspinator, Howlback but
called Phytoshock, and Tidal Wave. With Arcrise and Prophecy
still around too. But when I cut that, I turned Phytoshock into
Howlback, who as I told you before, I coined for my
Transformers: Fractures idea. And Bash was Ankylomon-inspired
for when I was doing a more complicated version.
Tidal Wave is kinda the viewpoint character that Fly-By was
meant to be in Wild (y'know, before I smushed Wild characters
into Infinity and everything went messy). He's your average guy.
He's a bit unsure about going off on mad adventures. Likewise,
development will ensue.
'An Unearthly Child' is the name of the first ever Doctor Who
story, btw.

AWESOME!
Prophecy is as ever epic in that bit in the end. And yet,
Arcrise seems interesting too. I'm not gonna say she's my second
favorite fembot in your stuff JUST yet. But she's shaping up to
be an amazing, interesting character.
Also again I can't stop laughing at Prophecy. May she never
cease being amazing. ;D
EPIC ref in the title there. I like it. ;D
Also love how you chose an average guy for your viewpoint
character.
Overall I'm loving Rise already! ;D

Well, you might wanna watch Arcrise. She barely knows herself
yet. And funny you'd mention 'second favourite fembot' since
I've probably got more fembots than any other fictional
TF-verse, paha.
Yus, Prophecy's bits were the ONLY character-specific lines I
remembered from when I came up with the ad, heh.
Danke!
Yah, as noted above, I was gonna do that with Fly-By before. But
he and his team got pushed forward into (reworked) Infinity and
there were too many characters in too rigid a format for me to
use them well.
Thank you, it's only just starting!

Episode 1 – The Breakout
Airdate: Saturday 21st July 2012
Synopsis: Arcrise, Tidal Wave, Howlback and Bash are heading
through the verdant field in which Arcrise awoke. Tidal Wave is
busy noting down everything that Arcrise knows, which Bash finds
somewhat pointless. As the two debate whether or not they should
be following Arcrise, the mysterious fembot freezes on the spot,
eyes wide in fear. Elsewhere, in darkness, a fembot sneaks over
to a control panel. The fembot – Medusa – reads data on the
panel’s screen, before communicating with Iguanus, down in a
deeper level at a much more complex computer. With little
effort, he manages to achieve his mission… and prison cells all
around start opening. Medusa uses the speaker system of the
prison to inform the released Predacons that they will soon have
revenge on the Elite Guard. On Earth, Arcrise collapses to her
knees, breathing heavily, as the others tend to her… then, with
a sudden burst of light, the four find themselves in the prison,
surrounded by Predacon criminals. Howlback and Bash get ready to
battle while Tidal Wave tends to Arcrise, but before the
Predacons can make a move, one of the walls explodes… and
through it step Blizzard, Rapticon, Waspinator, Prophecy and
Ironfist.
As many of the Predacons back away in fear, Blizzard rapidly
orders Rapticon and Prophecy to take the upper levels of the
facility, Ironfist to head to the maintenance levels, and for
Waspinator to stay with her and locate the intruders. The two
immediately notice Arcrise and co, who insist that they have no
idea where they are or how they got there, but it is only
through Arcrise placing the truth into their minds that the
Elite Guard agents cease their accusations. At that moment,
Inferno and Quickstrike appear; Waspinator works on fending them
off, while Blizzard tries to convince the four to head onto her
ship, the Epsilon-Zero, but while Tidal Wave is eager too, the
others note that Blizzard needs as much help as she can get.
Rapticon and Prophecy split up as they take the upper levels;
Rapticon transforms into beast mode and confronts various
Predacons, while Prophecy strolls through, an energy bubble
around her, using her powers to push Predacons back into their
cells. Ironfist snoops around down below, and ends up battling
with Iguanus.
Blizzard, Arcrise, Tidal Wave, Howlback and Bash rush through
the facility, but an attack by Psychosis takes the latter two
away from the group. Tidal Wave tries to go back for them, but
Arcrise tugs him along. The trio finally reach the central
control chamber, to find Medusa, along with Spinister, awaiting
them. Blizzard is not surprised to see Medusa, and the two start
to dual while Spinister goes to attack Tidal Wave. Arcrise fends
Spinister off as Tidal Wave watches. The other Elite Guard
agents continue their fights, while Howlback and Bash attempt to
fight off Psychosis… only for a Predacon prisoner, Rampage, to
eviscerate Bash. Traumatised, Howlback is rescued by Waspinator
throwing Inferno and Quickstrike into Psychosis, as Rampage
retreats. All the while, Tidal Wave, watching the fighting,
attempts to interrupt the Blizzard and Medusa fight, but a blast
seemingly from nowhere hits him into Blizzard. Cackling, Medusa
takes control of the facility as it rocks about. For the first
time, we see that it is a large floating fortress in space… and
it is headed for a large vortex. As the beings inside brace
themselves (or otherwise), the entire facility falls into the
vortex for parts unknown.

But of course, I'm not gonna lug around NINE Maximals and he was
always destined to die. Well... remember when I said that Tidal
Wave and Howlback were originally created to be in a team with
Emberscales Prime, Uproar, Cloudraker and Waspinator (and
Prophecy and Arcrise)? Well, that would've been formed after a
few adventures with them, plus Vapour, Sonar and Constant, and
so it's not just 'half the old guys die but none of the new ones
do', I would've used another new character and killed him off
too.
Bash just follows that path, haha.
This ep is very action-oriented, you'll learn more next episode.
Only exicted about Medusa and Iguanus? What about the other
four? Haha. And Rampage is one of the new Predacons - the season
will be full of new Preds, some who'll only be in one ep, others
who'll become new major characters.

Episode 2 – Welcome to Parts Unknown
Airdate: Saturday 28th July 2012
Synopsis: Groggily, Tidal Wave wakes up in the control room of
the prison facility. Arcrise is stood over him, and helps him
up, as Blizzard checks on them. She explains to the two that the
prison is the Fortress Maximus, the Elite Guard’s high-security
facility for the criminals they capture. Medusa was intending,
it seems, on releasing the many Predacons to work as an army for
her. Tidal Wave asks what the turbulence was, and Blizzard
points to the damaged ceiling of the control chamber, revealing
tree-tops and a surreal alien sky. Elsewhere, a damaged Ironfist
stumbles through the corridors of the Fortress Maximus until he
meets Waspinator and Howlback – the latter is still in shock
after seeing her friend eviscerated, and the two Elite Guard
Maximals promise to keep her safe. Medusa, Inferno, Quickstrike
and Iguanus have gathered not too far away in the jungle, where
the fembot is deeming her plan a success. Spinister returns with
their craft, Ravager, and the others board. Iguanus notes
Psychosis’ absence, but Medusa shrugs it off, noting that he
will always return to her. Ravager blasts off into space.
As Rapticon works his way through the wreckage of the Fortress
Maximus, he is attacked by a random Predacon: the fight is
rough, with the Predacon taking the advantage, until Prophecy
falls from the floor above and lands on top of the Predacon. She
quips, before shackling him with handcuffs made of energy and
throwing him into a nearby cell. The two Maximals quickly
realise that the power in the facility is down, and Rapticon
seals the cell shut with pieces of wreckage. Meanwhile,
Blizzard, Tidal Wave and Arcrise exit the facility, and the team
leader tells her companions that they should have headed to the
Epsilon-Zero when she told them. Now, they are her
responsibility. Tidal Wave apologises, explaining that he never
wanted to be in a mess like this, and notes that he will likely
not have a job when he returns home. Before more can be said,
Arcrise finishes analysing the Fortress Maximus: there was a
message in the system, telling the inmates to evacuate the
facility as it passed out of the vortex. It also lacks all of
its escape pods… so the inmates have scattered across the
region. Impressed, Blizzard asks Arcrise to analyse star system
they have landed in. Rapticon and Prophecy come across the
remains of Bash; Rapticon believes him to be an unfortunate
inmate, but Prophecy says that he was a civilian who ended up on
the ship through fate. The mech simply notes that it was an
unfortunate fate, before heading on, Prophecy in-tow.
Waspinator, Ironfist and Howlback exit the facility, and
Tidal Wave, noticing that something is wrong, goes over to
Howlback. She tells him that Bash was murdered, and the two
share a hug. As Waspinator and Ironfist talk with Blizzard about
the situation, Rapticon and Prophecy arrive. Blizzard asks
Arcrise if she has finished with her analysis, and the
mysterious fembot produces a projection of the star system.
There are several planets, the largest two having multiple
moons. She then locates the planet they are on, and the
locations of every criminal throughout the system… as well as a
beacon being sent out from one of the planets, calling all
Predacons to make their way there. Blizzard deduces that it is
Medusa and her team. She asks where the system is, but Arcrise
is unsure, simply noting it is in uncharted space. Turning to
the group, Blizzard tells them that they must head out and
capture every criminal as quickly as possible. Rapticon believes
that it would be better to take out Medusa’s group first, but
Waspinator counters that it would leave the other criminals no
reason to stay within the star system, and they would disperse
further across space. Blizzard welcomes Tidal Wave, Howlback and
Arcrise to the team as honorary members, and expresses her
sympathies at the death of Bash; then, she leads her team off to
the Epsilon-Zero to start their mission.
