FC Porto, officially Futebol Clube do Porto, is one of
Portugal’s biggest and most successful football clubs. Founded
in 1893 and based in Porto, the club plays at Estádio do Dragão
and is famous for its blue-and-white colors and the “Dragons”
       nickname.
FC Porto is one of the “Big Three” in Portuguese football,
alongside Benfica and Sporting CP, and it has a long-standing
rivalry with both clubs. The team has been a major force
domestically for decades and now face some of the best teams
from across Europe to further enhance their reputation.
The club is known for a winning culture, a strong scouting
network, and developing world class talent and that is something
we will look to continue to do.
Our strategy is usually built around a compact, high-energy team
that presses aggressively, wins duels, and attacks quickly
through the flanks or direct transitions but we will be looking
to develop further on this to make us a side that will be hard
       to beat.

       Diogo Costa
He is an elite shot‑stopper, with quick reflexes and
composure under pressure, combined with excellent distribution
that allows him to start attacks and play comfortably out from
the back. He can occasionally face questions around consistency
and inexperience at the very highest level and is prone to
       making the occasional error.
       Cláudio Ramos
He is an experienced, reliabie backup option and a solid
shot‑stopper when called upon, with a track record of
clean sheets and the ability to step in calmly in key matches.
However, his limited playing time can affect his rhythm and
consistency, making him more of a dependable squad goalkeeper
       than a dominant first choice.

       Jakub Kiwior
Solid defensively, with good composure on the ball, tactical
intelligence, strong duel‑winning ability and versatility
to play across the back line or in midfield while contributing
to build‑up play. Struggles on occasions in more
demanding, high‑press or expansive systems, where his
positioning and consistency can still be refined as he develops.
       Francisco Moura
Club captain and is a modern-day full‑back, offering
strong attacking intent with overlapping runs, chance creation
and the ability to contribute goals and assists while fitting
into a high‑tempo system. Some defensive inconsistency and
average tackling reliability can hamper him in games at times.
       Martim Fernandes
       He is a well‑rounded full‑back, combining strong
technical ability, progressive ball carrying and good attacking
contribution with disciplined positioning and tactical awareness
       for his age.
Still relatively inexperienced, with areas like defensive
consistency, composure and overall match maturity still
developing as he adapts to senior‑level football.
       Alberto Costa
An attacking right‑back, combining strong chance creation
and assist numbers with energy and technical quality going
forward, making him a key contributor in build‑up and
       final‑third play.
Can lack defensive discipline at times and his raw experience at
the highest level, with areas like positioning and defensive
consistency still developing as he adjusts to top‑tier
       competition.
       Nehuén Pérez
Strong in aerial duels and passing out from the back, along with
solid composure and efficiency in possession for a
centre‑back. Disciplinary problems persist and there are
consistency concerns at times, as well as limited continuity due
to injuries, which can impact rhythm and long‑term
       reliability.
       Jan Bednarek
Reliable, strong positioning and dominance in aerial duels,
complemented by high passing accuracy and experience that make
him a very dependable presence at the back. His limited mobility
and ball progression compared to more dynamic centre‑backs
can cause issues, along with a tendency to pick up fouls or
       bookings unnecessarily.
       Dominik Prpić
Has great physical presence and defensive ability, particularly
in ground duels, alongside solid athleticism and
       ball‑carrying potential for a young centre‑back.
Disciplinary issues and relative inexperience at top level, with
consistency, composure and decision‑making are still areas
to refine as he develops further.
       Zaidu Sanusi
He has great pace and athleticism, which allow him to cover
ground quickly and contribute both defensively and in forward
runs, while also showing composure in possession and reliable
passing in build‑up play. Inconsistent when tackling and
defensive sharpness, meaning he can be vulnerable in
one‑on‑one situations and still needs improvement in
       overall defensive reliability.

       Rodrigo Mora
The jewel in the crown at Estádio do Dragão. He has excellent
technical quality and creativity, along with excellent close
control, agility and ability to operate in tight spaces,
combined with strong ball‑striking and a natural instinct
for goals and playmaking. He still lacks strength in duels and
consistency at senior level while continuing to adapt to
       top‑tier football demands.
       Alan Varela
He has excellent composure and passing ability in midfield, with
strong vision, through‑balls and ball circulation helping
him control tempo and link play effectively. He is inconsistent
in tackling and defensive aggression for a holding midfielder,
meaning he can lack bite in duels and defensive transitions
       despite solid positioning.
       Victor Froholdt
An all‑round midfielder, combining technical quality,
intelligent positioning, and high work rate, with strong
passing, composure and the ability to contribute goals and
assists while covering large distances. He is not the most
agilie and lacks physical dominance for his size, with balance
and explosiveness still developing, meaning he can be less
effective in tight duels or quick transitions despite his strong
       overall impact.
       Assan Ouédraogo
Recent signing and another all‑round midfielder, combining
strong technical ability, ball progression and creativity with
good physical presence, vision and the capacity to influence
both attacking and defensive phases. His weaknesses are mainly
developmental, including a need to improve acceleration,
explosiveness and overall refinement of his tactical and
physical game, especially as he continues adapting at a senior
       level.
       Gabri Veiga
Has good attacking creativity as well as a goal threat from
midfield, with strong dribbling, vision and ability to produce
key passes or long‑range efforts, making him effective in
the final third. He can be inconsistent in general passing and
defensive contribution, as well as limited tackling efficiency,
which can reduce his impact in deeper or more physical phases of
       play.
       Pablo Rosario
Defensive solidi and a physical presence in midfield, with
strong tackling, positional awareness and the ability to break
up play while maintaining steady ball distribution. He does
however, have limited attacking output and creativity, with
relatively low-end product and less influence in advanced areas
       compared to more offensive midfielders.
       Seko Fofana
       A box‑to‑box midfielder, combining powerful
ball‑carrying, dribbling and progressive runs with a
strong goal threat from midfield and the ability to drive
attacks forward. He lacks consistency and lower defensive output
compared to his attacking influence, with relatively modest
assist numbers and less emphasis on tackling or interceptions in
       deeper phases.

       Samu Aghehowa
The main source of goals and a powerful centre‑forward,
with very strong finishing, aerial ability and presence in the
box, making him a consistent goal threat and effective target
from crosses or direct play. Offers limited defensive
contribution and relatively low creative output, meaning he is
less involved in build‑up play or chance creation compared
       to more complete forwards.
       Borja Sainz
Is a direct attacking winger, with strong dribbling, pace and
ability to cut inside to create or finish chances, making him a
consistent threat in one‑v‑one situations and
transition play. He can be limited in his creativity and
crossing output for a winger, with relatively lower assist
numbers and chance creation, meaning his overall end product and
       build‑up contribution can be inconsistent.
       William Gomes
An explosive winger, combining pace, agility and strong
dribbling with a clear goal threat, allowing him to beat
defenders and contribute regularly to attacking situations. He
can improve ball control and decision-making whilst he offers a
limited defensive contribution and needs t imrprove in aerial
play, reflecting his need for greater overall maturity.
       Pepê
Has great technical quality and versatility, with strong
dribbling, ball retention and creative passing that allow him to
generate chances and operate effectively across multiple
attacking roles. He can be occasional inconsist in ball control
and passing efficiency, which can affect his overall influence
and decision-making in possession despite his high creativity.
       Terem Moffi
A strong physical presence and direct goal threat, combining
strength, speed and solid finishing to operate effectively as a
central striker and hold‑up option in attack. Limited
technical consistency, particularly in ball control and passing,
along with relatively low creative and defensive involvement,
which can reduce his overall influence outside of scoring
       situations.
       Deniz Gül
Has good physical and attacking potential, using his height,
strength and solid movement in the box to generate scoring
chances and contribute a respectable goal rate for a young
       striker.
Iinconsistency in finishing and confidence, along with limited
creativity and technical output compared to top forwards, which
can make his overall impact fluctuate game to game.
       Yann Karamoh
A direct winger, with good pace, dribbling and solid technical
ability that allow him to carry the ball forward and threaten
defenders in wide areas. He lacks consistency and has a limited
end product, with low involvement at senior level and modest
output in goals and assists, which has restricted his impact and
       playing time.
       Luuk de Jong
A traditional target‑man, with strong aerial ability,
physical presence and positional awareness that make him
effective in the box and in linking play, particularly in
crossing or set‑piece situations. He has limited mobility
and technical dynamism at this stage of his career, along with
lower involvement in build‑up and creativity, meaning his
impact is largely confined to finishing chances rather than
       influencing all phases of play.

       STATEMENT FROM PRESIDENT ANDRÉ VILLAS‑BOAS
At FC Porto, we never hide from reality. The start to this
season has not reflected the standards or ambition of this club,
and no one within the organisation is satisfied with recent
results. But let me be absolutely clear: there is no concern, no
panic, and no loss of direction.
We are at the beginning of a long journey. A season is defined
by how a team responds, not by early setbacks. I see the work
being done every day — the commitment of the players, the
dedication of the manager and his staff, and the unity within
the club. For that reason, my confidence in this project remains
       total.
We are building something strong, modern, and sustainable. The
restructuring of our sporting department, the improvements in
recruitment, and the long‑term planning already underway
are designed to elevate FC Porto for seasons to come. These
changes take time, but they are the foundation of a more
       competitive future.
To our supporters, whose passion defines this club: stay united
with us. Your energy has carried FC Porto through countless
challenges, and it will carry us through this moment as well.
The players feel your support, and they will respond.
I assure you: exciting times lie ahead. This team will grow,
this club will rise, and together we will return FC Porto to the
level of excellence that honours our history.
       Somos Porto.
