[center]W/E 30th May[/center]
[center]Ajax and Atletico Madrid maintain 100% starts to the
football league season, with Ajax beating Atalanta 3-1 and
Atletico beating FC Porto 1-0 with Antoine Griezmann scoring the
winning goal. Arsenal and Benfica shared a 6 goal thriller in
the Premier Division with Martinelli scoring twice on the
night...
In the Championship Division AS Monaco and Eintracht Frankfurt
leading the way with 100% records, Monaco beat Real Sociedad 2-0
and Eintracht Frankfurt beat Bayer Leverkusen 1-0.
Lille OSC and PSV Eindhoven starting season rock bottom with
both clubs losing opening 2 matches and looking for massive
improvements in performance and results.
Gianluca Scamacca leads the Premier Division scoring chart with
4 goals for struggling Atalanta, with Nico Barella leading the
passing charts for Inter Milan with 9 key passes and Mason Mount
who has just left Manchester United leads Assists chart with 3
assists.
The Championship charts has Chico Hernandes (Real Betis) on 4
goals and K Mitoma (Brighton) on 4 goals, Malik Tilman leads the
passing charts with 9 key passes followed by A_Zakharyan (Real
Sociedad) with 7 key passes.
J Fazzini (Fiorentina) leads Assists charts with 2 assists but
early days in the leagues.
Mason Mount was one of big transfers this week joining PSV
Eindhoven from Manchester United in a swap deal, Patrick Dorgu
also left Manchester United in a swap deal to Inter Milan with
Yan Bisseck going to Old Trafford. Amad Diallo another player
out of Old Trafford joined Tottenham in a £12 million deal,
Diogo Dalot joined Benfica from Manchester United in a £10
million deal. Midfielder S Altimira left Real Betis and joined
Villarreal in a £10 million deal.

answer the 1st season just to finish inthe top 6 while i develop
my team and get the players i want team isnt good enough yet to
win anything and try reduce the age of my team cause its way to
old

I dont really have any targets i just want young hungry players
at my club so i can build my club around them
What do you see as your strengths for leading Internazionale to
success?"
Knowing what tactics and formation i want to play and not shying
away from that sticking to what i know
"Will you be looking to develop the youth system at
Internazionale?"
I am going to play my youth players in my 1st team i cant
develop a youth team as i dont even have enough for a starting
11 so thats the only way i can do it
"Who do you consider your biggest rivals in the new season?"
Well being from italy is has to be atalanta as they have a top
manager i would say napoli but they have no manager but all
teams are a threat
Who is the one player you would like to bring to your club?"
I did have my targets at the auction but i failed at that so now
i am just waiting for that one player who could make a
difference at this club

[center]We go into the final 5 games of the season and its been
exciting in all areas, Ajax and Manchester United continue to
tussle at the top of the Premier Division.
Ajax have been leaders most of the season under "Jose Mourinho"
who have been playing some attractive football but lately the
team seem to be stuttering.
Star of the team has been Emre Unuvar after Joshua Zirkzee left
the club, the 18 year old has scored 15 goals this season and
with Brian Brobbey joining the club Ajax possess a strong attack
with plenty of goals in them. Kieran Trippier adds experience
at the back and the boss has been building a more youthful team
to develop over the seasons.
Manchester United under "FootballNinja" has been near the top
all season and top scorers in the league. Bryan Mbeumo has
surprised everyone leading the scoring charts with 18 goals in
15 matches, the boss has rotated his forward line and does seem
to be settled with his forwards but Cunha has scored 9 goals and
Sesko 8 goals.
United's strength has been midfield and the manager has been
very shrewd with his signings bringing in Touchameni,
Bellingham, Fernandes, Wharton and Mastantuano giving the team a
very strong combative midfield. Many would favour United to
take the title.
Surprise of the season has to be Sevilla who sit in 3rd place,
4pts off the top two not expected to lift the league title but a
3rd place finish would be remarkable for the club. Manager
"Johnboy" has worked his team well defensively good with
Carmona, Oso, Sanchez and Suazo the key players. Eze and Agoume
has been key in midfield with their passing and creativity
scoring goals has been an issue for them but fans will be happy
their in 3rd place.
At the bottom the relegation battle looks interesting,
managerless Borussia Dortmund sit bottom and after manager
Robson leaving have continued to spiral downwards and llok safe
bet to be playing Championship football next season.
FC Porto and manager "GaryG" have found the season tough they
have been in relegation zone all season club form is very
indifferent and lowest scorers in the Division.
Midfield does look strong but lack of goals is likely to cost
them and expect them to join Dortmund in Championship next
season. Tottenham Hotspur have also struggled in the season and
not been out of the relegation places, manager "Ricky" needs ot
get his team scoring more goals if they are to stay up. Simons,
Bergvall, Sarr forma good midfield but need more help and
forward line need more production of goals our tip they will
also go down to the Championship.
Another big surprise as we look at the Championship is leaders
Real Betis who over last 4-5 games have moved to the top and
looking favourites for promotion and league title. Manager
"TenHagg" was boosted by club takeover mid season and he set
about big spending on players and developing facilities. Top
scorers in both leagues thanks to Chico Hernandez 14 goals,
Josuha Zirkzee coming in adding more goals and on 16 goals for
the season, Cristiano Ronaldo at 41 joined the club and scored 7
goals to help.
The boss has built a strong midfield around Wilson, Isco,
McTominay and Fidalgo our favourites for the league title.
Bayer Leverkusen under manager "Junior" have been in the top
four most of the season and a good show of skills from the
manager as the club are one of the lowest on transfer activity.
Schick and Poku providing goals with Garcia and Tillman the two
stand out midfielders in the squad, the club are on a good run
of wins and likely to win promotion.
Managerless Fiorentina have hit form and looking very good for
promotion, leaving one place to be fought out by Brighton,
Eintracht Frankfurt and West Ham.
Brighton had a dip in form but manager "Amorim" has started to
steady the team Kaoru Mitoma has lit up the season with a
surprising 13 goals from the wing, new striker Moise Kean has
settled well and scoring goals with 8 in 15 games.
Kone, Hinshelwood and Baleba control the midfield and if they
stay tight and Mitoma keep scoring should secure final promotion
place.
Should Brighton slip up, Eintracht Frankfurt could move in,
although former league leaders the club have lost 7 games in a
row and manager "ColinW" frustrated with his players.
Frankfurt's defense needs to step up and midfield to perform if
they are to have any chance and not have a disappointing end to
the season.
West Ham have started hitting form after manager "Luis Enrique"
totally built new team around South American flair football its
paying off with 3 successive wins, unbeaten in 4 games and
looking one of the in form teams.
Wallace Yan and Pellegrino have come in and starting to score
goals, midfield settled with flair and passing and we think the
Hammers will steal that final promotion place....[/center]

[center]Premier Division has kicked off in Season 2.0 with
Defending Champions Manchester United seen as favourites to
retain the title a very strong squad backed by a very tactical
manager and currently richest club in the game.
Manager "FootballNinja" has built a good team with Bryan Mbuemo
last season's top scorer still at the club and leading attack
has been boosted by wingers Rodrygo and Raphinha joining the
club. Young rising stars Tynan Thompson and Shea Lacey have been
promoted and will develop in their first team, Ederson
Tchouameni and Guimaraes give strong spine to the team with
Mainoo and Bouaadi attacking flair.
No one would bet against United retaining that title.
Title challengers could be last season's Championship champions
Real Betis who stormed to the title and promotion with games to
spare.
Manager "TenHaag" has built strong squad, built a good
foundation with the club and staff and future looks good for the
Spanish side. Chico Hernandez and Joshua Zirkzee brought the
goals and if they fire well in the Premier League then the club
could be challenging. Wilson and McTominay the main strengths
in the midfield backed by experienced Isco and Fidalgo, defense
is looking strong and they the club could be darkhorses...
Sevilla and manager "Johnboy" are also expected to be
challengers they performed above expectations last season to
finish in 3rd place and the manager has made the Spanish club
very tough to beat.
Sancho and Vargas scored 25 goals between them last season and
if they can hit those heights this season then Sevilla could be
surprise champions. Midfield really needs to perform well to
supply the front line but the Spanish side will be a team to
watch.
Atletico Madrid and Arsenal would be expected to be there
challenging too, especially Atletico who's manager "Jose
Mourinho" led Ajax to runners up in the league and cup much will
depend Griezmann, Barcola, Sesko bringing the goals and their
midfield staying strong. Arsenal were bit up and down last
season but manager "Darlington" is experienced and although no
signings they have a balanced team and will depend on Gyokeres
and Martinelli to bring goals....
Relegation battle should be interesting with many expecting new
promoted Bayer Leverkusen and ACF Fiorentina to be 2 of the four
to go down along with Tottenham Hotspur who struggled last
season and Ajax who are currently managerless.
Championship favourites are clearly relegated FC Porto and
manager "GARYG" despite coming down and struggling last season
he has built a strong squad.
Borka Sainz is their main man in attack and goals can he be
supported?
Midfield is strong with Froholdt, Varela and Mora a good defense
with Ordonez, Moura and Fernandes they should definately be
winning promotion and possibly league title.
Several new clubs into the mix so not easy predicting
challengers, AS Roma and manager "Ricky" have started season
well and lead the table.
Malen and Ferguson lead their attack and scoring goals already,
Wanner, Pellegrini and Pisilli provide the strog midfield.
Ndicka and Wesley will be key at the back, if they can keep
scoring goals they should be nearest title challengers.
Many expected AC Milan to be challenging or though not had best
start to season, PSV Eindhoven under "Robbo" has built a very
young developing squad and so far unbeaten and riding high but
will they be able to maintain that form.
Defensively PSV are tight scoring goals may be their issue, new
boys Nottingham Forest have fought out back to back wins and
into top six and have a strong squad and could be promotion
challengers along with relegated Napoli and new boys
Olympiacos....
