       LEVERKUSEN: WELCOME TO THE BIG TIME — NOW THE REAL NIGHTMARE
       BEGINS
       Promotion achieved. Champagne consumed. But now comes the bit
       nobody can guarantee: survival.
       Leverkusen have climbed out of the Championship and into
       completely unfamiliar territory. The celebrations may still be
       echoing around the stadium, but the hard truth is that promotion
       has changed everything.
       Last season, this squad was good enough to win promotion.
       Now they have to prove it is good enough to stay there.
       And that is where the questions begin.
       But there are warning lights flashing.
       This isn't a young squad bursting through the door,
       but is an experienced squad trying establish themselves in the
       Premiership.
       THE GOOD NEWS? THE KIDS LOOK SERIOUS
       Too mention a few...
       Axel Tape is only 19 but already carries a defensive experience
       beyond his years  along with  midfielder 21 y/o Ibrahim Maza and
       then there is 20 y/o striker C_Kofane
       This is not a squad screaming relegation fodder.
       But neither is it screaming top six.
       It's a fascinating squad caught between two generations.
       The old guard must keep performing.
       The youngsters must grow up quickly.
       And the manager must somehow squeeze every last drop of
       Championship momentum out of a team entering a completely
       different world.
       The bookmakers may be looking down on Leverkusen.
       The established clubs may expect them to struggle.
       But that's exactly how newly promoted sides like to start.
       Leverkusen have arrived.
       Now comes the question nobody can answer yet:
       Can they stay?
