Dutch giants Ajax FC have started work to get the club into a
competitive club, over recent seasons Ajax have fallen behind
their high standards since the loss of Eric Ten Haag as Head
Coach. Fans will be wanting the club to get back to the top of
European football, historically they are the most successful
club in Holland with 36 EreDivisie Titles, 20 KNVB Cups with 2
European Cups, 1 Inter Continental Cup and European Super Cup.
Now new Head Coach "Jose Mourinho" takes the role of leading
club, he has a strong pedigree having won several league titles
and a master tactician.
The club have announced the signings of £5 million H_Mkhitaryan
attacking midfielder from Inter Milan and £7.5 million Joshua
Zirkzee forward from Manchester United.
The boss is clearly looking to make a strong squad, the current
squad is a young developing team with 10 players aged 22 or
younger in the 1st team. Rising stars in the 1st team are
midfielders Youri Regeer, Sten Steur and Jorthy Mokio, the club
will look to develop the Jong Ajax team and bring through 1st
class youth talent which is the Ajax way.

Dutch giants Ajax FC have had a busy few days with owners AFC
Ajax NV who are on the Euronext Amsterdam Stock Exchange and own
99.41% shares of the club stating they want the club to be Youth
Focused and develop quality young players.
The Board led by Ernst Boekhorst are very happy with club's
start to season and 100% behind manager "JOSE MOURINHO" and his
decisions for taking the club forwards and into being a world
class club.
Ajax have agreed a deal and picked up 35 year old english right
back Kieran Trippier, this has raised many eyebrows because of
his age but his experience and quality skills in defense will be
a key feature to the team and helping the team achieve a top
four finish.
The Jong Ajax U21s team have been in training and making their
preparation for their opening U21s Development League game on
Saturday night.
20 year old Argentinian Maher_Carrizo is seen as one of the best
prospects the Forward has much talent and a knack for goals, 19
year old winger Kayden Wolf is another hot prospect. In
midfield 16 year old Abdalla is expected to really develop into
a quality box to box midfielder, Tijn Peters is also a player to
watch for in the season.
At the back, 18 year old Lucas Jetten will be the key developing
defender along with Van der Lans.

Dutch giants Ajax FC returned to the top of the Premier Division
after the weekend's results with leaders Manchester United
stunning defeat at Atalanta and Ajax with back to back wins and
beating Inter Milan 3-0.
The star of the season so far has been the signing of Joshua
Zirkzee from Manchester United who has scored 14 goals in 13
games this season is having his best ever season and showed
United what they missed out on by selling him to Ajax.
18 year old rising star Emre Unuvar is showing his potential
with 8 goals in 12 games and working well in attack with Zirkzee
and Alex Sorloth.
Another rising 18 year old is Sten Steur in midfield with 3
goals and 3 assists, but its clear manager "JOSE MOURINHO" is
not resting and looking to further strengthen his team.
The club have made move in the transfer market overnight with
several swap deals, forward Antony who is not well liked by the
fans has agreed to join a foreign club with Dutch forward Brian
Brobbey coming to the club. Brobbey came through the youth
ranks playing for Jong Ajax and then Ajax 1st team joining RB
Leipzig then coming back to Ajax and joining English Premier
League club Sunderland. Now he makes a return for his 3rd spell
at Ajax and will be looking to get settled at the club.
Tomiyasu and Gioukh are joining rivals PSV Eindhoven with Ryan
Flamingo and Joey Veerman coming to Ajax....
More wheeling and dealing is expected in the coming days....

Well Ajax FC fans heads are spinning tonight, we reported at 3pm
progress around the club and the return to the top of the
Premier Division then at 5pm manager "JOSE MOURINHO" went into a
meeting with Chairman Ernest Boekhorst and Board members John
Busink, Marjon Eijlers, Giovanni Fränkel, René Zegerius,
Christian Visser.
We have been told the meeting discussed a 5 season plan of
action built around:
1. Signing Players Under 22
2. Developing Players
3. Players can be sold later for high profit
The Board and agreed on developing a new system on the field,
and set objectives for next 3 seasons with this season being:
Finish in top half
Upgrade Youth Academy Level 3
Sign 3 players Under 21
Promote 1 Academy Player and give at least 400 minutes
Its clear the Board want the club to get back to the "Ajax
Academy DNA" bringing through young players and selling them on
for big profits.
The manager we understand is happy with the talks and approach
and the club are implementing these new plans immediately.

Jubilant Ajax fans in Dortmund tonight after the top four clash
with Borussia Dortmund ended with a 4-1 win for the Dutch side.
The game was a good 50-50 battle between two top teams but
Ajax's finishing was top quality again with new boy Brian
Brobbey scoring on his debut in the 1st minute of the game then
midfielder Youri Regeer made it 2-0 on 12 minutes.
the rising star of the team 18 year old Emre Unuvar scored two
more 2nd half gaols to take his tally to 11 goals in 14 games
and attracting attention from Real Madrid, Manchester United and
Real Betis. Kulusevski and new boy Paul Wanner were key in
midfield with their passing stats and Ajax remain top of the
league....
Defeat for Jong Ajax in the reverse fixture losing 2-1 at home
to Dortmund II, Konadu with the Ajax goal but the U21s failed to
produce a good display.
Jong Ajax have now lost 3 in a row and sliding down the table
and really need to step up and produce the results like the 1st
team.
News coming our of Amsterdam tonight is top scorer Joshua
Zirkzee has been sold to Real Betis for a club record £23
million and midfielder Dejan Kulusevski sold for £22 million to
Napoli. This is all part of the Ajax model sell developing
players and reinvest into club structure, the club have
announced that £15 million is being invested into the Academy
and Training ground.....

Ajax reject lucrative offer for teenage midfielder.....
News coming in from Amsterdam that Dutch giants and Premier
Division leaders Ajax FC have rejected a lucrative offer for box
to box midfielder Sten Steur.
Sources say that two offers have come in for the midfielder but
manager and club have rejected the offer Steur has played 13
times this season and big part of the Ajax midfield with his 31
key passes, 3 goals and 5 assists.
Rising star and hotshot Emre Unuvar has also attracted attention
from Europe's big clubs with his 13 goals in 17 games can the
club hold onto their young stars?
In the league Ajax were held to a 1-1 draw by Atalanta last
night but remain top but Manchester United have closed the gap
and with 9 games to go the title race is really on.
Both clubs are 6 and 7 pts clear of 3rd place Arsenal so is a
two horse race for the title?
So far the club are performing better than expectations and with
Season objectives to finish in teh top half, upgrade the Academy
Level 3, Sign 3 players Under 21 and promote one Academy player
and all have been achieved.
The Ajax board are delighted with manager "JOSE MOURINHO" and
his development of the club and backing up his tag as the Chosen
One.
The only blip on the season so far if the struggling Jong Ajax
team in the U21s league where they have lost 6 games in a row
and sit bottom of the league and may end up relegated out of the
league while FC Porto B sit top.
The team have failed to settle despite having some real quality,
the manager really has his work cut out to try and get the
youngsters playing more like the 1st team and battling for those
results. Many expected Jong Ajax to be at the top so much work
on the training ground and teh coaching staff need to work
really hard.....

Ajax fans left frustrated.....
Ajax fans were left frustrated last night at the Amsterdam Arena
in a shock 1-0 defeat to bottom club FC Porto. The game was
boring to watch with next no action and very little to excite
the fans it was clear Porto came to frustrate and nullify Ajax's
attacking football....
At the end of the match fans left extremely frustrated, manager
"JOSE MOURINHO" also left the touchline not happy with the
frustration tactics and that is team were prevented from playing
their usual brand of football. The only positive on the night
were that Benfica beat Manchester United at old trafford to keep
Ajax still top and 1 point ahead of the Red Devils....
Its getting nailbiting now with 7 matches to play, and Saturday
could be a big title decider as Ajax travel to Old Trafford to
face nearest challengers Manchester United. The boss has full
squad to pick from and he needs Brobbey and Unuvar to rediscover
their scoring form, Kees Smit has just improved and he will key
against a much stronger and experienced United midfield. It
should be an exciting Saturday night at Old Trafford....
Meanwhile the Jong Ajax development team have struggled with
their 6th successive defeat, a slightly better performance in
the 1-0 defeat to Atletico Madrileno.
Midfield have been playing well but the forwards have been
disappointing and not providing teh goals, the team really needs
to lift performances otherwise they will be dropping out of the
league....

Interview with the Manager.....
We caught up with a busy Ajax boss on the training ground:-
How is your squad ahead of tonight's big match, which many are
calling title decider?
We were disappointed with Wednesday night's defeat to FC Porto,
but the players have responded in training and fired up for
tonight at Old Trafford.
United also lost on Wednesday night which makes this match so
much more important for the winners which we hope will be
ourselves.
Who do you think will be the big threat tonight?
Bryan Mbeumo with his 17 goals had to be a concern, but they
have a very strong team in all areas with Mastantuono, Matias
Fernabdes, Touchameni and Mainoo providing a strong middle of
their team. Their defense is strong too so were expecting a
very physical attacking battle tonight.
what do you think to the comments posted by FC Porto manager
GaryG after their win on Wednesday night?
I don't really have too much say about that, he has his thoughts
about Wednesday night and I stated my thoughts about that match.
It was not an exciting match and I personally felt we were
prevented from playing our usual brand of football, but wins in
this league dont come easy and you have grind out your results.
He is an experienced manager and should focus on trying to keep
FC Porto in the league as they have been very disappointing in
the season.
Your arch rivals PSV Eindhoven have appointed former Dortmund
manager Robson as their boss and they will be looking to compete
with Ajax?
I wish him good luck with PSV they should be in the top flight,
like ourselves they have proud history winning trophies and
being one of Europe's powerhouses.
Were the no 1 Dutch club and will relish competition from our
arch rivals and seeing what he brings to the club, he did not
have a successful spell at Dortmund.
But a new club and challenge may well be what he needs, I am
more focused on my own team, staff and taking this club to the
top of world football.
Are there any managers you admire?
I have been very impressed with TenHagg and what he doing with
Real Betis, he has built a very strong team with a good style of
football and developing his club very fast. I like how they
play and his players battle hard and they will be a great team
to have in the top flight next season as sure they will win
promotion.
What will be a successful season for Ajax?
Our agreed season objectives were to finish in the top half
which we will definately achieve, developing Academy which we
have done, sign several U21s players and promoting at least 1
academy player. We have achieved all of these and the Board are
very happy so anything else is a bonus and if we do become
League Champions then this ahead of schedule and we will be
delighted with pour progress......

Nervous Ajax Fans.....
Last night Ajax fans were disappointed and many getting nervous
on social media after losing 1-0 to Sevilla at the Amsterdam
Arena.
A poor showing by the players has got manager "JOSE MOURINHO"
angry with his players in the dressing room after 2 defeats in 3
games could derail their title hopes.
This morning the boss called in his players for an extra team
meeting to discuss their dip in form and examine whats going
wrong and get his team back on track.
Meanwhile a new approach with the Jong Ajax team picked up a
well earned draw last night with a better performance and with 6
games to play to keep their league status.
Fans are very anxious that most of the season Ajax were well in
control of the Premier Division now with 5 games to play level
with Manchester United the players need to dig deep and getting
back to playing their attractive attacking football to bring
home the silverware.... [/i]
