South Coast of England club Brighton who are well known for
finding rare talents and developing them have been accepted into
the new Championship Division for the new footballing season....
The Seagulls have appointed "AMORIM" as their new manager, with
the boss having much success with Sporting CP and now will look
to build and develop Brighton the way he did at Sporting. The
Seagulls Board are 100% that they have appointed the right man
to lead the club and the target is promotion to the Premier
Division.
Currently the new boss is at the AMEX stadium meeting the Board
and discussing plans and will later meet the players and set-out
his vision for the club....

Brighton are moving forwards with their season preparations with
new boss "AMORIM" appointing defender Jan Paul Van Hecke as club
captain for the season.
The hardworking defender joined the club in 2020 and plays at
centre back he also has 10 caps for Holland working with him
will be Vice Captain Diego Gomez the 23 year old Paraguyan
midfielder who the club rate very highly. Gomez has 23 caps for
Paraguay and has previously played at Inter Miami and has become
a favourite of the fans with his silky passing skills.
The club also announced new sponsorship deal today with American
Express to continue their partnership with a fee paid up front
and further rewards should Brighton finish in the top six of the
Championship Division. Currently the Board and Manager are
discussing investment in the club and whether any new players
need to be brought to the club...

Brighton fans and manager "RUBEN AMORIM" were disappointed last
night as the Seagulls crashed out of the Manager's Trophy at the
first hurdle.
In truth Brighton played very poorly and only Kaoru Mitoma
raised his game and scored both goals for his 7th goal in 6
games and man of the match but his team mates played poorly and
let the team down. Real Sociedad surprised Brighton with their
fighting performance and deserved their win now the club have
just promotion to fight for this season...
In the U21s Development League the Brighton U21s played very
well beating Atletico Madrileno 3-0 in Spain and a good solid
team performance from the players.

Brighton have hit a patch of indifferent form lately but still
sit in 4th place, but manager "[i]RUEBEN AMORIM" has been
disappointed with many of his players.
He met his players this lunchtime on the training ground and
news coming out of the club is that changes are being made and
approach moving forwards with likely change in tactics.
Its clear the boss wants to keep his counter attacking football
at the club but make the team more into scoring goals from
their counter attacks and not worried about possession football
for his team...
Leaked news has shown the boss wants to build his team around:-
Bart Verbruggen
Van Hecke
Senesi
Baleba
Diego Gomez
Mitoma
then bring in players to play with the above named key players.
The club have received new first team players this morning with
box to box midfielder Manu Kone joining the Seagulls, attacking
midfielder M_Brescianini with Harry Howell promoted from the
Academy. In attack Moise Kean and Matias Soule arrived to boost
attack with 4 players having left the club, Lewis Dunk, Pascal
Grob and Solly March are all being released today as part of
culling of the 1st team and wage bill.

Brighton boss"[i]RUEBEN AMORIM" slams his team after another
poor performance last night with the 1-0 home defeat to Real
Sociedad.
In game of very little action the first half went through
quickly with no goalmouth action then into the 2nd half,
Brighton did have several chances but Real Sociedad got the
winner to boos from the fans and a distraught manager on the
touchline.
The Seagulls have only taken 2 wins from their last 6 matches
not exactly promotion form and the boss will need to rally his
players and getting them playing better football if the club are
looking to win a place in the Premier Division.
Fans are worried that the current form will cost them with 8
games to go in the season, Kaoru Mitoma seems to have lost his
scoring form and the rest of the forward line not coming in with
enough goals.
Midfield are playing well with their passing stats but more is
being demanded and can the club really push for
promotion?....[/i]
