What a start to World Cup last night with Mexico vs South
Africa, 2 goals for Mexico and 3 Red cards 2 of them for South
Africa.
Actually quite liked some of Mexico's football last night, good
seeing Raul Jimenez playing for the side.

Qatar v Switzerland was good match last night, Qatar played some
good football and Switzerland did not take their chances and
paid the price.
Good to see Qatar get there first ever point...
Thought Scotland were very lucky and not play very well at all
but they got the win, enjoyed the Brazil game although Casemiro
did not look as good as he has been for United in the season.

Very good England performance I thought, especially attacking
going forwards and if not for saves from Croatia keeper England
could have 5 or 6 goals.
But good 4-2 win and Harry Kane in great form, Bellingham's goal
was great to see him blasting forward with the ball and although
dislike Rashford he played well when he came on and a goals from
him....

Anybody looked at Cape Verde group after yesterdays games.
The final group game sees Spain v Uruguay play each other in
what could be a must win game for both because if Cape Verde win
against Saudi Arabia then they will be guaranteed second in the
group and the loser of Spain v Uruguay is third and hoping to be
a best third place to qualify.

I have actually more games than I thought I would, Holland
looked very good against Sweden if they can keep playing at that
level with speed of attack could be one to watch.
Yes, Cape Verde have been playing very well, thought Ivory Coast
were unlucky against Germany they played really well...
Not sure who I fancy to win the World Cup at the moment, I think
its very open tournament

Uruguay v Cape Verde what a good match of football determination
from Cape Verde shocking Uruguay. Was very bored watching
Belgium v Iran thats 90mins I wont get back....lol
I really like Ecuador very tight at the back they just need to
be bit more ruthless in attack, but really admirer of their
team.
Liked the Ivory Coast too and felt they deserved a point only
for Undav to get a 2nd for Germany not that impressed with
Germany.
Predictable win for Brazil but again they dont look that good,
Portugal not looking good could this be England's year?

Loving the Round of 32 games...
Really wanted Japan to knockout Brazil they play with so much
pace on the counter and some very good midfielders but guess
Brazil always seem to find away to pull out the win.
Delighted for Paraguay and seeing Germany go out, I know
controversial goal disallowed but Paraguay defended well and
there penalties were good.
Shocked Holland went out, fell asleep watching the game then it
was penalty shootout...lol..
Looking forward to France v Sweden tonight

sad to see Ecuador lose to Mexico 2-0, really liked Ecuador and
how they play and impressed with several of their players.
Also very happy that Germany are out was not really impressed
with their football or Nagelman's tactics so good riddance now
England's turn at 5pm.
lets see if the players can really lift themselves, was not that
impressed against Ghana or Panama, when you see how French
played last night we really need to lift our game.
Will Declan Rice play?
Would you keep Rashford and Saka on wings?
Thought Rashford was too predictable against panama, just run ta
players lose the ball time and time again.

Still recovering from England win over Mexico, what a game and
probably England's best performance in my life so far...
Bellingham was immense, Gordon had beating of Mexico left back
and was a threat everytime he ran forward with the ball. Good
to see the team battle hard and work well as a unit with
defending, Pickford with crucial saves...
Disappointed with Portugal and Ronaldo they did nothing against
Spain and deserved to be knocked out, Martinez had all that
talent and yet they seem to play with no purpose.
Loved the Norway v Brazil games and Norway played well against
an average Brazil team who just dont seem to have the flair we
expect from them...
England v Norway gone be a great match Saturday

So happy Spain beat France 2-0 last night, really dislike
Mbappe....
Spain got tactics right kept possession played well took their
chances, and Deschamps looked like he had no idea what to do...
clear that its the French players been getting results and
Deschamps has not really had to do that much and got found out
with his tactics or should we say lack of tactics...
Tonight the big one England, Argentina and Messi have their
favourite corrupt referee in charge but i think we have the
unity, pace and players to beat the Argies and stuff one up them
on the field and for all their bad mouthing about Falklands...
I had family who fought in thet Falklands war and we lost
friends.
