A touch of whining and winging below deck, whisper has it chaps
a bit uptight about the delays in payment of the Christmas
bonus.

Well, my friend it is not just the delay in the bonus it is the
fact that we decided that the bonus was not to be paid. It is
hardly surprising that this decision has created a certain
disquiet.

Well, Farty all now seems to be organized! We have announced
that the Christmas bonus from 5 years ago will be paid and we
merely to deal with the last four years now. I'll visit the
Treasury Department later today just to see how finances are and
perhaps we could make a large joint payment and update
everything.

Uh Farty, I'm afraid the news from the Treasury is a little,
well shall we say mixed. Apparently we do not have sufficient
funds for the Christmas bonus from 2010 and there seems to have
been a direct order from a senior official to give priority in
payments to the Entertainments Committee, which has led to
certain confusion in the balance sheet.

I knew it! Brains, trying to keep his laboratory rabble happy.
Place an immediate order to prioritize the 2010 Christmas bonus,
quite scandalous!

well Farty it appears that there has been some direct order from
above to redirect funds to the Space Exploration Committee and
this has left the department in a slightly embarrassing
situation.
