The movie about MERLE'S LIFE???

???Does anybody know how close they are coming to finalize the
movie about the hag? I've heard so many stories..when is it
gonna be done and ready for us to see?

I hope very soon it will out sell "I Walk The Line" Im sure.
Merle's life was much more extraordinary than Johnny Cash's. His
life and songs are about true experiences. Cash's were partly
fiction like the old Kristofferson song "The Pilgrim" says.

There has been so much talk for a long time. I know Robert
Duvall was involved at one time. I have not heard of any
progress for some time, but it sure would be great !

I think Robert Duvall would play an awesome Hag in his older
years. Iknow Robert Duvall is a huge Haggard fan. To bad James
Deen isnt alive he looks alot like Merle in his younger days. I
dont know who would be good candidate too play a younger Merle.

MERLE DID TELL ME THAT HE WAS NOT GONNA HAVE THE "OLDER" MERLE
IN THE MOVIE, THAT'S WHY HE CHOSE BLAKE AS THE ADULT MERLE.

I wish they would do a movie not just about his early years, he
has had such a great career. I hope they include that as well. I
was disappointed in the Johnny Cash movie because they stopped
at the end of the 60's. I think people would like to see more.

At some point it was rumored that Hag's opening act on the road
The Milpas Brothers... one of them would portray the younger
Merle in the movie.. Nothing yet after that...

I hope the movie is released soon. It would be a very long movie
if it chronicled Merle's entire career but Robert Duvall with a
little make up could probably play a Middle Aged Merle, alot of
Merle's tunes during the 80's were chart toppers.
