Gained Respect

I've always had a lot more respect for Alan Jackson ever since
he sung Choices at the CMA's for George the year that they would
not allow him to sing his entire song. Alan showed them. That
gray hair don't mean a thing! ;D

I agree. It was a HUGE statement from someone of his stature at
the time !

HIM since then!!!!I knew he was a stand up guy by the things
that i had read about him through the years...to me, he is one
of the LAST OF THE BREED out there![/font]

It Took Alan Alot Of Guts & Balls To do That For George. I Read
That George Was In The Bathroom, When Nancy Yelled For Him Too
Come Watch Alan Singing "Choices" On T.V., The Article Said It
Put A Tear In George's Eye When He Saw Alan Performing The Song
On T.V. Out Of Respect For For The Greatest Vocalist In Country
Music History.

Thanks for that. I will look on you tube. I enjoy listening to
Alan Jackson too. Some of the more modern singers, who call
themself country are not my taste at all.
