       QUICK GUIDE
       1Ix: Side bar
1Ia: Picture Icon & Basic Info
       1Ib: Overview
       1Ic: Mail
       1Id: Reports
       1Ie: Inventory
       1If: City/Loyalty/Tax
       1Ig: Resources tab
       1Ih: Troops tab
       1Ii: Heroes tab
       1Ij: Oases tab
       1Ix: Side bar
       1Ia:
side of you screen. Though there is a basic walk through at the
beginning of the game that goes over the side bar I will go over
       it with you to.
At the top you will notice that you have a picture icon of a
male/female person. When you click on that icon a window will
pop up with your basic info on it such as your lords name, your
flag name, your civilization points, your food consumption and
your population. You will see those located on the left side of
the window pop up. Also on the left side of window pop up you
will again see the picture icon of your person. Her though you
can change what you look like to some degree by simply pressing
the change button. On the right side of your window pop up will
be the list of, if you have any, cards that you are using. To
learn more about the cards please see 1Ie:
       1Ib:
It is a picture of a crown for those of you who still no not
what I'm talking about. When you click on the overview button a
pop up window will appear on your screen similar to the pop up
screen that appeared when you click on your picture icon, as
       learned in 1Ia:
Well the pop up window is divided into two tabs: Castle, and
       Heroes.
The castle tab will show a picture of your castle (from a map
view), all your resources, and a list of how many troops you
have. There are also three buttons on the side under the name of
Transport, Dispatch, and Move Castle. Transport allows you to
move resources between YOUR OWN castles, should you have another
one. Dispatch allows you to move troops between your own
castles. And move castle, I think, allows you to move your
castle to another uninhabited vacant spot. For more info on
       vacant spots please see IIIb:
The heroes tab will show you a list of all the heroes you own,
what their level is, what castle they reside in, and what their
stats are. In this tab on the bottom right corner there is also
a view button for each of the heroes you own. By clicking on
the view button it will bring you to that heroes pop up window
were a full body avatar of that hero will be presented to you on
the left. When looking at the full body avatar of that hero, you
will notice boxes to the left and right of that hero stacked
vertically. Those are your hero’s slots. If you have any items
you may equip them to those slots simply by dragging the item
from your inventory, located on the bottom right corner of your
hero’s pop up page, and then dragging it to the appropriate
slot. At the foot of you avatar’s feet, it will show your
       physical attack/defense & Magical attack/defense.
On the right side of the hero pop up window towards the top
you will see your current level of strength, agility, and
intelligence. Also you will note your health bar (the red one)
and exp. Bar (the blue one). Below that will be your potential
points. For every potential point you have, you can put towards
1 of your 3 attributes: strength, agility, or intelligence. You
will get more potential points as your hero levels up. For help
on leveling up see Ib: or IIIc: or IIId: or IIIe:
In the middle of the right hand side of your hero pop up window
will be a list of your skills. When you level up you are given
skill point in which you can use to put towards one of those
skills that will forever help you hero.
On the bottom right hand corner of your hero pop up page you
will notice 3 rows of 5 squares. That is your hero’s inventory.
To put an item into your heroes inventory see 1Ie:
On the bottom of your hero pop up window you see three buttons.
       spell scroll, rename, dismiss
Spell scrolls…well I honestly don’t know much about it. For more
info ask our guild leader jackel. Right now I don’t have
anything in spell scroll button, but my guess is that later on
you can get scrolls and use them for battle and such. But don’t
       take my word for it.
Rename is just as it sounds. You can change the name of that
hero if you don’t like their name.
When you click on the dismiss button it will dismiss your hero
from their active duty. Because you can only have a certain
amount of heroes under your control per city, if you find
another hero that is stronger than your last then you can
dismiss you current hero to hire a new one.
       1Ic:
you cant figure out where it is, it is the button next to the
overview button. For those of you that are directionally
challenged, it is the button with the picture of an envelope. It
is way more simple than myspace or facebook so it dosnt take a
genius to figure it out. Heck, I think your mom may even be
smart enough to figure it out.
Take note though, that all system sent messages will be deleted
       in 10 days after sent.
Oh also, I thought this was pretty cool, but when you send a
message to someone, you can choose the background of the message
you send to them by selecting one of the four greeting card
       backgrounds.
       1Id:
button. The button has a picture of a binocular on it. When you
click the reports button a pop up window will show again on your
screen. Basically it will show you what you have been doing and
give you info on what you did. So for example: if you go and
attack an area, see III:, after the attack is done a report will
come in saying how the battle went. It will show you how many
men you lost compared to how many men you went in with. What
monsters you fought, and the victory spoils. Also it will keep
track of trade. So when you buy or sell, reports will come in
also saying that you bought/sold stuff
       1Ie:
you click on the inventory button, it is the button with a
picture of a bag on it next to the reports button, a pop up
window will appear. The window will have two tabs labeled items
       and treasure.
items tab will show you your packages, cards, and other items
you can use to help your city prosper. To use simple click on
the item you wish to use, then hit apply.
NOTE: your chips are stashed in your items tab also, but won’t
let you apply them. To learn more about chips please see xId:
treasure tab is the tab that holds all the items you can put
into your heroes inventory so that you can equip. To learn how
       to equip please see 1Ib:
To put an item into a heroes inventory, first select the hero
you wish to give the items to by clicking on their face on the
right hand side of the pop up window. You will know that they
are selected when their face is outlined in red. Next drag the
items you want to give to them to their inventory on the right.
       It is a 5x3
On a side note you will see on the top right of either tab your
game coin amount. If you have any game coins it will show you
how many you have at the top right. You can use them to purchase
items. To learn more simple click the shop button or the “buy
game coins” button located on the bottom of the inventory pop up
       window, or visit 2Ih
       1If:
In the middle of the side bar will be 4 boxes. 1 of them should
have the picture of your city on it. If you hover your mouse
curser over it, your X/Y coordinates will appear and the name of
your city. To name your city please visit qq
Basically those squares will just show you each of the cities
       you own and their coordinates.
Underneath those boxes will be a heart with a sword over it.
That is your loyalty/resentment stats. It should show something
       like “100/0”
The number on the left is your loyalty. Taxes affect your
loyalty. The higher the taxes the lower the loyalty. Resentment
is caused by people attacking your city, and levies. If you have
a high loyalty rate, and a low resentment rate, the more people
and the faster they will come to your castle. But if it’s the
opposite, then people will start leaving you castle.
To learn about taxes and levies please see qq
       1Ig:
lower middle of your side bar. The resource tab will display
your display your wood, stone, iron, food, and gold. You will
notice, for example, numbers next to each one of your resources.
       Its will look like
       Example:
       100/500
       50
The number 100 symbolizes how much resources you currently have.
The number 500 shows how much you can store. For more
information on storage please see either xaa, xbb, or xcc
NOTE: You cannot have more resources than you can store
The number 50 underneath the other numbers is your net income.
That is how much you will make per hour.
NOTE: the net income on your food will lower the more
people/soldiers you have because PEOPLE EAT FOOD! I know it’s a
       novel concept.
       1Ih:
picture of a shield on it. It just shows how many troops you
       have at disposal.
       1Ii:
this tab you can either view your hero, as shown back in 1Ib, or
you can make them leave the castle to do things. For more info
on the leaving button, please see IIIe:
       1Ij:
tree on it. It will show you all the oases you own, their
coordinates, and will give you the option of abandoning them.
For more info please see IIIa:
