2013 Toy Fair round up

DC Collectibles. Never thought I'd see a figure of Vibe and
Katana even in the costumes I don't want. Still buying for my
Justice league display. Saw a mock up of NU52 Hawkman last year.
Still no figure.
Captain Cold figure and costume are shit.

Other than the G.I. Joe Tomahawk reissue I think the best thing
I've seen this TF are the Batman TV figures. Definitely some
cool stuff in the works.

Quite a bit of stuff I want. 66 Batman figures of course.
Gotta find away to get that ML Puck figure. Lotsof gold with
MOTUC. Want a lot of the classic MU figures. Fire is the
fucking bomb and the highlight of the show for me.

Damin Robin looks good. congrats to those that want him. I
might pick him up if it's a slow day.
Ward-Robin's Face/mask look off. Not sure about the cloth capes
but I guess if they can sit in that Batmobile, then ok.
Surf-Batman is just to damn funny.
The 2013 sub looks good. All Characters I'm interested in minus
that red hood. Guess you can't make everyone 100% happy. I'm
sure someone out there will like him. Congrats to them. Will
be hocking mine on ebay.
Bats-Beyond = skip for me.
Good for wings lovers.
Skipping the nu52 stuff for the most part.

I've got my Damian already. this one looks a little too buff
for me. don't begrudge people getting it that only collect
DCUC. I'm not a dumb ass that way like some other people.

Damien would be an easy pass for me even IF I didn't already
have the DCD version because he obviously uses that crappy
undersized buck Mattel used on Kid Flash, Tim Drake as Robin and
Beast Boy. :-\ Huntress looks better than I expected and
Fire was a nice surprise. Still wishing they had stuck that Red
Hood in one of the Batman Unlimited waves instead of the sub.

The ML Rocket Racoon and Puck are must haves for me so I'll
hopefully find a way to get them without having to spend too
much money on shitty figures I don't want. I NEVER thought I
would say this, but after looking over the DC Collectables
offerings .....I actually miss George Brewer because at least he
occasionally put out something I wanted. Only thing that even
remotely interests me by them is the Arkham City Grundy and I'll
prolly pass on that IF the price point is too high.

Well they said Grundy is the biggest, most heavy figure they've
ever made so I bet he's gonna be pricey.

Over all I'm pretty happy with the Mattel sub. IMHO, there are
a few stinkers; Rocket Red (I think most everyone agrees
although I could be wrong), Constantine and the size of
Lead/Tin.
But this year, There seem to be quite a few universe builders
that I"m excited to add to my DC Mulit-verse (I say that thanks
to my current All-Star Squadron/ Crime Syndicate display. Plus
Freddy Freeman was originally from Earth-S) I wish Huntress was
Helena Wayne, but she's not much to the shagrin of a certain
someone one. Still I like this Huntress outfit and she looks
great!
Phantom Stranger: Coming 2/15
Elongated Man: Coming 3/15
Larfleeze: Coming 4/15
Wally West Flash: Coming 5/15
Freddy Freeman: Coming 6/15
Huntress: Coming 7/15. Comes with cross bow.
Fire: Coming 7/15.
DCUC is the only thing I'm collecting right now (until I can
find that wall base thing for TV Batman and Robin and the
Batmobile.

while I do like the DC Direct Huntress, the bitch won't stand
for more than two minutes. And when she falls she always sends
Oracle rolling off the shelf. So I'll be happy to replace her
with the Mattel version. and there is the extra added bonus of
that certain asshole being so butt hurt over it. ;D
