My gaydar is going off like crazy guys. I don't believe for one
second he was duped. He created this fake girlfriend as a cover
story.

Manti Te'o is Notre Dame's star linebacker that was up for the
Heisman award. He got a lot of press this year for all he had
overcome. See his grandmother and girlfriend died within hours
of each other. He got a lot of sympathy and publicity. Only
turns out there was no girlfriend. It was a hoax. She never
existed. He's saying he was duped by someone on the internet
and it was an internet affair now. But in interviews he was
saying he spent time with her personally. He's a weird lier. I
think he made her up to cover up being gay.

That wouldn't surprise me because I've known several people who
have worked at Notre Dame over the years and according to them
it's not a gay friendly environment.

I'm sure they'll try and cover it up if it's a case of him being
gay. The Catholic church is real good at covering shit up.
