comics on disc

I've been working like a madman downloading comics. Gonna sell
the majority of my actual comic collection now. The discs take
up so much less space and I have a very comprehensive DC, Marvel
and Quality collection downloaded in chronological order. I'm
up through 2011 with Marvel. 2009 with DC and 1937-1956 with
Quality. I'm gonna start on Fawcett soon. Now just gotta find
more time to read the library. I know a couple others have been
doing this too. How far a long are you?

I really need to get back to burning discs. Have been
downloading DC comics chronologically from 1938 on. Am somewhere
in the beginning of the bronze age. Demonoid went tits up and I
sort of lost interest. Alot harder to track down the golden and
silver age issues I'm missing now. But up until what I have is
pretty complete including series like Mr. District Attorney,
Real Screen Comics, etc.
With the Marvel stuff I was downloading different series to
disc. Have most of the stuff I wanted up until around the 80s.
But wasn't really looking for a complete set of those.
Would want the Fawcett and Quality stuff, but the files I found
at the time had big gaps in the collections.

Yeah, gaps are a problem.
Years ago I almost bought at microfiche reader because most
Timely Comics and some Golden Age DC were available that way. I
decided to wait a few more years to give them time to transfer
everything to fiche :D
Then I found a guy at SDCC selling Quality Comics on DVD but
when I saw there were issues missing I didn't buy them.
I'm really awful at downloading stuff so if anyone is willing to
duplicate stuff for me I'd be happy to pay for time and
materials ;D

missing some superhero issues but really not a whole lot. The
majority of the issues I'm missing is romance shit and funny
animal stuff. I'm pretty proud of my Quality Comic discs. I
put some serious man hours into those. I usually get at least
two or three missing issues a month for the quality stuff
through Digital Comic Museum. I love that site. The hardest
part was figuring out the chronology of those golden age comics.
Demonoid was great for the DC stuff, but I'm sure someone else
will start it up again before it's all said and done.
