first they pull the crap with the movie and release it a year
later, along with pulling the toyline-- which were pretty bad
quality anyways--
now they are really bloody overpricing the subscription figures.
i remember when they came out in 2007 they were $5 for me to
get.

the subscription figures start at $25. the in-store figures are
$10.
and one website i was looking at wanted $70 for a couple
subscription figures

Yeah I really wanted a couple of those subscription figures too.
It's just the $50 fee to sign up to the club, then $25 per
figure that kept me away. Still might get a Footloose eventually
if he's carded. He was one of my favorites. But that fan club
has kept me from really collecting Joes for years now. There'll
be one figure I want in a set they're asking $500 for? ::) And
MOTUC fans think they have it bad.
I've mostly been buying vehicles for my vintage collection
lately. Put my Christmas money toward buying the Defiant Shuttle
Complex. So I'm happy having that back now.

i don't trust the club as my cc got hacked there and i'm iffy on
how well they will get the sub figures out

That sucks. My card got hacked when I used BBTS. Took forever
to get that shit straight.
