We are trying something new this year - trying to pace ourselves
(more the kids) and just opening up a few on Christmas, and then
one or two each day afterwards. Complaints of overwhelming the
kids with too much at once (okay, my wife complaining
mostly....).
So far I've gotten the latest Fables graphic novels and
spin-offs. The two latest Carl Barks Scrooge/Donald books from
Fantagraphics. A pretty hefty book called Marvel: The Untold
Story. Some Marvel and DC glassware as well.
Of course some shirts and stuff like that.
Might be some more good stuff when I get to opening the rest of
the presents.

As nice as all that is the 3 presents I enjoyed the most were
some very old Christmas cards my cousin Bubby gave me that he
found in the attic that my Great Aunt Opal sent to his
grandmother before either of us were born. A very enjoyable
unexpected visit from an old friend and her father who needed a
place to stay while her adopted grand daughter was in the
hospital. I took them to dinner at Ted's Montana Grill and we
spent a nice evening renewing our friendship. Finally after
hooking up with each other for almost a year my 22 year cuddly
cub properly submitted to me. I'll spare you the details except
to say WOOF and he looks HOT wearing a collar. :D

I got a Stanley tool box (I need more tool space , way more than
I had so it's perfect)
really good long underwear (I work outside alot so it comes in
handy)
I will get Dark Knight Rises for my birthday ;D
Gave the wife some perfume , a good ski jacket and a brand new
set of golf clubs..
kids mostly got cash , but lately my daughter like Dr Who...
