       Re: The Hobbit. So who here's seen it?

       Saw it with my 9 year old on Sunday.
       His two favorite movies ever are now Avengers and Hobbit!!  So
       can't complain about that.  Did feel a little long in parts, but
       overall liked it a lot.  He had a few questions about who
       certain people are.  He hasn't seen the LOTR trilogy, so now my
       dilemma is to let him watch those movies or just wait a year and
       a half and let him see the Hobbit movies and then watch the
       LOTR.  I wonder if anyone who hasn't seen LOTR wonders about
       such characters as Galadriel and Saruman - I tried to explain it
       briefly about Saruman and who the Necromancer really is, but
       'eh, he's only 9 so it probably doesn't mean much to him anyway.
       He just thought it was cool.
       We saw it in the High Frame Rate / 3D version.  I've heard
       complaints about it, but really seemed okay to me.
