Let's catch up.

Feels like forever since I've talked to alot of you guys.
Figured it'd be a good time for us to all to fill each other in.
I'm now living in Florida in the house the wife and I bought a
couple years ago. Moved down here for good this past November.
Still working for the gov'ment; but since the move haven't had
much time for customizing. Something I needs to change. Little
Jack is particularly happy about the move as he now has alot of
space to run about. Though he now only answers to the name...

WHO THE FUCK IS THE TALL HANDSOME GUY????? :D :-*
So, bought a new car yesterday. We bought it for my wife who got
a new job which she will have to commute to 3 days a week. This
effectively puts me OUT of work due to the need to have someone
here in the morning and afternoon for my daughter. This is all
OK as my wife will be making more money than we've ever made
together.
As for everything else...well it's been hell since she lost her
job in June, so my attitude and confidence took a major
nosedive. I've been depressed and really unmotivated to do
anything that wasn't related to trying to get us in a better
situation. Now that that has been taken care of, I'm hoping to
pick up SOME of the threads of my old life and become less
reclusive and more a fixture in the new year.

Hey guys. I am back in school now believe it or not. Who would
have thought that? Got laid off from my graphics job, they
closed that office. Trying to learn to design for the web so
help me. Much different than print design. A lot of code. Blah.
I am working as a photographer at an auto dealer. Work is easy
taking pictures of cars for the web but doesn't pay above
minimum.
I haven't customized much but have done much except with spare
parts I have left over from when I had money. I have a few that
I finished that I have been meaning to post but never got to it.
My life is code, code and more HTML5 code right now. On break
from school and start again in January.
Jack I can't believe you kid is that big. Wow.

as for recent events:
my father passed away last year
im currently a photographer with a local company doing events
and focusing on car shows
i own a camaro seen here
ive all but quit comic collecting due to general disgust with
the way things are going
i still collect SOME toylines but very rarely anymore
i still live in kansas in my dads house which i inherited, but
plan to move next spring
my facebook has pretty much been my sounding board for things.
its like the ol doosh only more expansive
been dating off and on.... nothing worth noting at present
oh and im lot less douche-y, had to grow up a lot when dad got
sick. more so after he passed.
thats about it i think
my former handles... ones i remember anyway...

no i made a camaro version of kitt... looks better than the
mustang version if i do say so myself... and he does have
limited interactive capabilities...im working on it

Hey Guys!
Great to see everyone jumping back on over here. Got kind of
lost over on Crit Mess. Jack, your kid is too damn cute! Wish I
had an outfit like that when I was his age!!! You definitely get
the cool dad rating. :D
As for me, still working as a programmer - C++ mostly. Kids both
have permits and will be getting licenses soon. (Damn, got to
get another car!) My oldest is in his last year in High School,
but because he has Aspergers, they let him take a course at the
local community college in the afternoon. He is doing real well
at it - can't wait to graduate. My youngest is a wild man behind
the wheel - scares the crap out of me! Reminds me too much of me
at his age.
Otherwise haven't been doing much customizing. A few figures
still sitting on the shelf. But new 52 kind of killed my
motivation. Bout the only thing I feel like doing is finishing
up my LOSH. Still playing DDO with my buds occasionally, but
been spending alot of my "free" time (time I should be
sleeping!) writing a book. Fantasy based on the DND game I'm
currently in. Don't know if it is any good, but the guys seem to
like it. So I'm giving it a shot.
Stars - sorry to hear you lost motivation. I hope you get it
back. You are awesome and taught me alot of what I know!
Max - good luck with the web design buddy! That is the area to
be in.
Darren - sorry to hear about your Dad. Went through the same
thing with my Dad and Mom a few years back. It's a tough road.
Really good to hear from everyone. ;D

my goodness... i knew what some of you guys were going through,
and other stuff surprised me to read.
but i am glad i am now a part of this and will be able to focus
more on finding out what's up and being there for you guys.
as for my time... i graduated from school last December (with a
degree they could not print on the diploma)
spent half my year job hunting, doing
community/amatuer-professional theatre, and trying to get my
customizing skill back to snuff from breaking my
writing/painting hand.
got a job 3 months ago at one of the Hotels here, and now work
as a 'front desk agent' and bellman.
Booster will be joining soon, and he can tell you all his good
fortune. he had a better year than me.
oh.... and stars and jack, thank you for threatening me until i
joined.

Wow, seems like alot has changed for us since the DOOSH.
Darren - Sorry to hear about your dad. I lost a brother some
years ago, so I have some idea how you feel.
