       AC: The years After the Cataclysm
       No other Guardians of Merwellyn before Cerlin of Balifor are
       known of at this time, but there are signs of habitation from
       whoever lived there before in the Caves of the Forsaken
       Mountains. Also, there is the evidence of the Standing
       Orthostat(a large, slab-like stone that has been set upright by
       humans, and is a type of standing stone and was used by the
       Druids and Brownhoods in their ceremonies in the years after the
       Cataclysm)
       First Known Guardian of Merwellyn Cerlin of Balifor. Cerlin was
       taught the ways of the woods by Myrrdian, who in turn was taught
       by the Brown Hood Oisiodh in the eastern Woods. Cerlin would
       name himself the Grand Druid and Guardian of Merwellyn. The
       Druid Cerlin found Kaelan as a young child who was lost in the
       woods and was being kept alive by a Treant's Wisdom, but winter
       was coming, and Cerlin was on a mission to find the fabled
       Forest of Merwellyn, so he took the child with him and taught
       him the ways of the Forest, as they were taught to him. Cerlin
       died in an unknown incident, but he wanted Kaelan to succeed him
       as Guardian of Merwellyn
       The next known Guardian of Merwellyn was Kaelan the Hermit. A
       Human, who became the first Grand Druid of Chislev of the Age of
       Despair with the return of the Gods during the War of the Lance.
       Grand Druid Kaelan chose Talidaar to succeed him. Kaelan then
       became the First Hierophant of the Age of Despair. He has gone
       missing since.
