The Battle of Wayreth of 422 AC and the Forty-six (46) Wizards o
f High Sorcery

[center]The Battle of Wayreth and the Forty Six (46) Wizards of
High Sorcery[/center]

422 AC
one year following the War of Souls, the Tower of Wayreth sits
idle until 422 AC. for some unknown reason. Kalrakin was
traveling with another sorcerer named Luthar, having stolen an
artifact called the Irda Stone from a treasury at the City of
Lost Names. They would escape and travel south until they
happened upon the Tower of Wayreth and entered to unlock its
secrets. They planned on not allowing the Wizards to come back
to the Tower ever. They would desecrate the Last Tower and wreak
havoc upon its internal structure. The Halls of Records were
damaged, nearly destroyed. They gained entry into Storage Rooms
containing dangerous Magical Items that nearly destroyed the
undestroyable Tower.
The Hunt for Wayreth begins.
The elusive Tower does not respond to even the most powerful
Wizards of High Sorcery
Wizards begin converging at the borders of where the Forest of
Wayreth shows up on various maps, no two ever fully agreeing.
A young girl named Coryn Brinefolk arrives at Wayreth Tower and
is able to trick the two (aided by Solinari) into allowing her
to take The Test. She passed and escaped from Kalrakin.
Coryn would come back to the tower along with the Forty-six (46)
Wizards of High Sorcery that answered the summons to Wayreth to
fight against the sorcerers.
When the Wizards see the hole in the side of the North Tower and
wonder what the hell could have done that to the Tower of
Wayreth. It did not conform to what they had always known; the
Towers could not be damaged in this way, and yet, there it was
for all to see.
In a violent and highly magical battle, the wizards reclaimed
the tower from Kalrakin when Coryn punctured both of his lungs
and his heart with her arrows. As he was dying, Dalamar finished
him off with his knife.

In the aftermath, The Dead are mourned, and all are given
special burial privileges inside the Tower Crypts for their
ultimate sacrifices for High Sorcery.
In the Dawning Hours, the Conclave is reborn.

Twenty-one (21) Conclave members were chosen from those who were
present at the Battle.

Jenna is made Highmage of High Sorcery by the Consensus Spell to
vote.
Coryn is amazingly chosen as the Master of the White Robe. There
is some surprise, but even the older elves knew this was what
Solanri wanted.
The Black Robe usually pits the stronger Black Robe candidates
against each other, but at this First Conclave, the moment calls
for a new way, a vote from the Black Robes present. Nalis
nominates his shalafi, Dalamar, but there is an audible gasp
when Inari Westbrook nominates Karnea.
The outcome comes back, and there is an upset when Karnea beats
Dalamar in the vote count. Dalamar knew when Karnea was
nominated that something had happened already in the background.
Despite his attempts at redemption, his god was not with him,
and he immediately knew he did not have Nuitari's blessing this
time. Dalamar did not contest the outcome. He accepted a
position to the Conclave, but tells Jenna mentally he will need
some time away. Jenna nods and mentally asks Where will you go?
He answers a few places; I must rededicate myself to the craft.
Then Dalamar disappears with Nalis onto the Roads of Magic.
