Master of the Tower of Nightlund, Master Coryn Brinefellow of
       the White Robe
600’ tall, the tallest of all the Towers of High Sorcery, once
dominated the skyline of Palanthas, but that is no longer the
case, for the Tower now resides in the Forest of Cypress in the
Province of Nightlund. Two minarets, each more than four hundred
feet high, flank the central spire, each of them capped with
domes of magical stone, the color of fresh blood. The hallways
and chambers of the Tower are grand and sumptuously appointed,
archives and museums, each more wondrous than the last,
intermingle with private apartments and studies. This tower was
considered the greatest of all the Towers and housed the world's
greatest store of arcane lore and artifacts.
Major geographical features of the area include the Dargaard
Mountains on the eastern border with Estwilde, and the Vingaard
River, which runs the length of Nightlund's western border and
north to Kalaman. There is a large forested land of cypress
trees west of the Dargaard Mountains called " The Grove".
Heavily wooded and mountainous, the land was never suitable for
farming. Even before the Cataclysm, it was only sparsely
       populated.
The Tower of Istar/Blood Sea and the Tower of
Palanthas/Nightlund share similarities in their construction,
for one, because of the spiral stairway placement in the center
       of the two towers.
The eastern side of the Tower houses the personal living space
and apartments, while small laboratories, work areas, and scroll
archives are located on the west side of the Tower.

*Not present at the moment, but soon to be integrated
When the tower was moved to Nightlund, the Tower of
Nightlund/Palanthas does show some structural faults from
ripping the Tower from its magical base, the violent act of
magical transport to new magical moorings in a vale within the
Forest of Cypress near the Dargaard Mountains. Huge cracks can
now be seen running up and down the tower. Inside, a few steps
on the spiral staircase went missing. Solinari is working to
       repair the magical structure.
       The Cypress Forest
The Gods of Magic placed a new deterrent to keep unwanted
visitors out of one of the few remaining Towers of High Sorcery.
They created a magical field that saps the strength of those who
step within the forest’s boundaries. Those who venture among the
cypress trees will find themselves growing weaker and weaker,
until they are too weak and finally collapse.
