People in Talidaar's life
By: Dungeon Master Date: July 7, 2025, 12:29 am
---------------------------------------------------------
People in Talidaar's life
Work in Progress
Eldrin - Arlyne's Husband was slain when Wydara was taken.
Qualinesti Elf. Talidaar barely knew him, but he cared for
Talidaar.
Arlyne-Mother-Has passed on after her father-in-law-in-law
arrived. Qualinesti Elf
Wydara-, Talidaar's Full Qualinesti Elven Sister. -Runs a
Gladiator School first in Tarsis, then moved to Northern Ergoth
Talidaar's Grandfather was a Brownhood Druid and mentored
Talidaar in his youth. He has passed on. Qualinesti Elf
Talidaar grew up in a world without gods, but his Grandfather
educated him about the old gods and told Talidaar that The Gods
of old are not ready to speak to the people yet, after the folly
of the last Kingpriest.
The Brownhoods -A League of druids, rural clerics, and wild
magicians originally heralding from the Western Realms of
Silvanesti in the time of Silvanos Golden Eye, and resisted his
order. This League is connected in a mysterious way to Gilean
of the Book, and his Grey Gods. They lived on the fringes of
elven and human-settled lands in the ancient past. Some of the
league joined migration away from the oppressive dictates of the
Emerald Throne, across the great plains of dust to the ancient
forest of Mithranhana. The secret society is now nearly dead.
Talidaar’s Grandfather was one of the last of this league's last
living members. He passed on the ways and knowledge of the old
gods to Talidaar before he died.
The Qualinesti Royal Family
Speaker of the Suns Solostarin has passed on
His Wife, whose Name is unknown
Prince Porthios Solostarin is still alive. Was a long-time enemy
and recent friend.
Prince Gilthanas Solostarin is still alive
Princess Luarana, the Golden General, Hero of the Lance, Queen
Mother of Gilthas, has passed on during the War of Souls
Tanis Half-Elven Ranger, Hero of the Lance, Ambassador, Passed
on In the Summer of Flame. Former ward to the Speaker's House.
Kira Silverleaf -Qualinesti Elf female, Met in the capital of
Qualinost, on the last visit to see her, Kira's Father and
Oldest brother and retainers beat Talidaar and threw his body on
the frontier. Many years later, during the Dark Reaver quest,
they came across each other again. They would reconnect, and
their love was unlocked. By the end of the quest, Talidar asked
her to become his Wife.
Leaving Qualinesti and the World of Elves behind.
First Friends Talidaar made when he entered the Human Lands
Kel Lockspringer, Kender, Traveling Companion, and friend from
Hylo -Things to know about Kel. Kel's father was in law
enforcement and was well-known and even well-respected in
Abanasinia for his dogged adherence to the law. A Non-typical
kender, I am sure you will agree. Unfortunately, his reputation
painted a bullseye on the good traveling marshall. His body was
never found, but the contents of his bags were dumped out in
front of the Sheriff's station in Long Ridge. When Kel was a
boy, he was kicked in the head by a mule. Kel eventually
recovered, but if anything is off about him, it might be
attributed back to that.
Chieftain's Daughter Nyra Dawnrunner of the Que-Han Barbarian
Tribe -Human female. Things to know about Nyra. She was captured
during a solo hunting trip ceremony. The other plainsmen who
were captured all died, all except for her, but that did not
stop her from wanting to get away. It earned her a trip to the
pit, where she met Talidaar.
Darken Wood
Dryads
Fey
The Forestmaster
Satyr
Faelos, Talidaar's guide to Ithax
The Centaurs of Ithax
Males of Ithax
Tharos Thunderhoof, Chieftain of the War party
Kelmorian - Varrak - Cromm Wildmane - Kaldur, the one who brings
in Talidaar to Darken Wood.
Females of Ithax
Dianina - Althaia - Olyndra - Astyllis - Ismon - Raisya
Druids Section I
First Known Guardian of Merwellyn Cerlin of Balifor before
Kaelan. Cerlin was taught the ways of the woods by Myrrdian, who
in turn was taught by the Brown Hood Oisiodh in the east.
after Cerlin of Balifor
The next known Guardian of Merwellyn was Kaelan the Hermit
Human, who became the first Grand Druid of Chislev of the Age of
Despair, then the First Hierophant of the Age of Despair. He
soon went missing. Grand Druid Kaelan chose Talidaar to succeed
him.

Rotas-Friend -Great Swordsmen
Longshot Farwallker, Kender companion, friend, and general
nuisance, originally went on the Dark Quest, Met Talidaar during
the Dark Reaver Quest.
Lord Rage
Lashia Ambrodel-Damara's younger sister and Kira's best friend,
and a friend to Tallidaar. Lashia moved into the house and
helped raise her best friend's children to help Talidaar through
the difficult time. Years later, they find that they have
complemented each other so well that they just fit together
naturally. After a time, they made it official, and Lashia
became his second wife.
From the Dark Quest of 359 AC
Damara Ambrodel Qualinesti Elf female. Friend of Talidaar,
half-owner and proprietor of the Roaring Griffon
Palainess Darkhammer, the other half-owner of the Roaring
Griffon, Bartender, Rogue, crime boss, and Information broker,
later worked for Karnea as her spymaster.
The Trio -Mutual Defense Pact
Talidaar journeyed with Karnea and Zeva on an adventure and
subsequent alliances through some very difficult times.
Karnea-Ally is Now Master of the Black Robe and Master of the
Tower of Blood Sea.
Zeva-Ally is Now the Grand Empress of Soreel Space.
Aravis- Daughter of Karnea, was fostered on Soreel, and has
recently returned to Krynn.
Prince Lucius- Son of Zeva and Rotas- The heir of the Soreel
Empire
Analis Karnea's first apprentice, later the Schoolmaster in New
Ports, before serving at the Tower of Wayreth, before completely
disappearing. The last Talidaar has heard is that she has
traveled into the northern reaches of Solamnia to an old ruin
called the City of Lost Names. He has been leading a large
concentration of Sorcerers of varying levels and ideological
beliefs. Has recently met with the Conclave to find a peaceful
outcome.
Talidaar and Kira's Children
Marilee-Twin Daughter -Oldest, Fighter maintains a Mercenary
Company called the Sunhawks. Gifted with a Young Griffon that
she bonded with.
Las-Twin Daughter -Mage, Gifted with a Young Griffon she bonded
with. It was Sword and Sorcery for years, but she is more of an
explorer than her sister.
Nebris-Son has followed in his father's footsteps and has become
a Druid.
Talidaar and Lashia's Children
Daera-Daughter Her path is unclear to her. Currently, she is
being trained by Wydara on how to protect herself.
Sator-Son is the youngest of Talidaar's children. He is a
fighter like his sister, Marilee. He is not violent but trains
endlessly.
Borderline of Tolerance
Lord Rage -Death Knight, hard to classify them, perhaps as a
Friendemy. Depends on the year and day, maybe even the hour.
Gilidarius Old Necromancer, now, it would seem he has become a
Lich
Raven Old Elven Vampire
Silvanesti Royalty
Princess Alhana Starbreeze
Prince Silvanosi, Son of Porthios and Alhana, was Speaker of the
Stars for a few days. Talidaar met him as a baby and then as a
small child. He has passed on, but he killed the Queen of
Darkness, and moments later was killed by Mina.
General Samar, Silvanesti Male, is completely dedicated to
Alhana and protecting Prince Silvanoshi. He loves Alhana but
cannot act on it.
Druid Section II: The Grand Druid of Krynn

Merwellyn for a time, has moved to Southern Ergoth

Wizards of High Sorcery

Mistress Jenna of the Red Robe, Daughter of Justarius. Jenna is
now Highmaster of High Sorcery and leader of the Conclave.
Palin Majere, son of Caramon Majere and Tika Majere, was Master
of the Conclave until he closed up Wayreth during the early 5th
Age. Ran the Academy of Sorcery outside Solace until it was
destroyed. He has become the Mayor of Solace
372 AC

in Tarsis. With Wydara to this day in Northern Ergoth
Kol a Klar Dwarf has been Wydara's assistant since Tarsis. Still

the Suns and Stars
Ergoth and the Western Broken Lands
Emperor Mercadior Redic VI of Northern Ergoth.
It should be noted that Talidaar's recent interest in Northern
Ergoth has grown since Wydara moved her Gladiator School to
Gwynned, along with the fact that Las and the Sea Captain she
has taken up with have a Villa in North Old Town in Gwynned that
they stay in for part of the year. A recent development has
brought Talidaar's youngest children, Daera and Sator, to join
Las at her place while Talidaar and Lashia had to go into the
War. And to top that off, Lashia, Talidaar's second wife, is
wintering in Gwynned. It has become a family affair that
Talidaar originally had no intention of having anything to do
with Ergoth. Still, he now finds himself at the heart of a
political situation involving the Druidic Order he is part of
and the Emperor of Ergoth.
Druid Section III

277 AC During the Spring of Talidaar’s fifteenth year. His
Grandfather received a royal summons to attend the Speaker
posthaste. The missive goes on to detail the trouble. The
speaker's young son is suffering from pneumonia. He implores him
to arrive immediately. The Grandfather tells Talidaar to wear
traveling clothes and bring his Robe while he gathers his
supplies and medicines. The Grandfather tells him that to act
out at all will bring great dishonor to our society, and to him
personally, and could disgrace Talidaar’s future. They venture
into the spring night. It was Talidaar’s first visit to the
great capital of Kith Kanan. Talidaar first learned to stay away
from Prince Porthios. Through the spring and into the late
summer months, Talidaar and his grandfather were still guests of
the Speaker while they attended to his young son, Gilthanas.
Porthios orchestrates a trap that an inexperienced Talidaar
falls for and is brought before the speaker. Only by the
Princess's grace was the Speaker able to discern his heir's hand
in the incident. Talidaar is let off the hook, but gets a stern
lesson that carries with it many insights into the class
structure of the Qualinesti people, and Talidaar's place in the
equation. On the last day of summer, Gilthanas comes out of his
illness, and soon Talidaar and his grandfather are leaving
Qualinost. They head for their home in the Forest on the
frontier.
278 AC
3.21 Talidaar first meets Kira Silverleaf at the Spring Dawning
festival, along with Lashia Ambrodel
6.13 Talidaar and Kira Meet at the Summer Home festival. After a
perfect night together, after they part ways, Talidaar is taken
to a hidden place and is badly beaten, nearly to death, by Kira
Silverleaf's Father and Kira's older brother, and two of his
bodyguards. Talidaar is found by his Grandfather, his body
dumped on the frontier. This took an enormous emotional and
physical toll on both Grandfather and Grandson.
279 AC
280 AC: Talidaar’s Grandfather passes. Talidaar leaves
Qualinesti and enters the Realms of Man

Talidaar meets Kel Lockspringer outside of Haven after a scuffle
in town. They decide to travel with each other, and are soon set
upon by Centaurs of Ithax. They learn that slavers have taken
centaur foals and killed their guardians.
Talidaar is imparted with dreams and is tested by the Gods.
Talidaar was already thinking about his own life and how slavers
had ruined his family. Talidaar vows to stop these slavers and
save the centaur foals. Talidaar is soon captured and thrown
into a pit with a stranger. He learns the stranger is a
plainswoman by the name of Nyra Dawnrunner, and that she might
be royalty among the Que-Han. Wild Elves rescue Talidaar and
Nyra, and they free the foals and begin to escape, when the
slaver leader shoots Talidaar with a crossbow bolt, and he falls
to the ground. He had jumped in the way of Nyra, taken the bolt
for her. He comes in and out of consciousness. Talidaar is taken
into Darken Wood by the Centaurs to meet the one person who
might be able to save him.
Talidaar and Nyra first meet the Kaelan, the Hermit of Merwellyn
Wood. It is what is left after the Fiery Mountain struck and
split Krynn open, and it swallowed up the rest of the forest,
and the oceans came in and created the New Sea. What came to be
called Merwellyn by the Druids. Kaelan helps Talidaar further
work out the clues of his dream. He aids Talidaar in approaching
the Giant Golden Hawk to request his assistance. Kaelan adds
that Talidaar is here from the Forestmaster; this is the
Mother's(Chislev's) wishes.
The Lord of the Giant Hawks needs no more information; he
proclaims that he will take Talidaar closer to where he wants to
go. Talidaar admits he must take Nyra, that is, Chieften's
Daughter of the Qué-Han, to her people before he can set out on
his quest. The Lord of the Golden Hawks agrees to take her home
and then will fly him closer to his destination in the North.
Kaelan tells Talidaar to return when he returns, that he has a
place at Merwellyn if he returns. Talidaar sets off on his
Dreamquest.
The Lord of the Golden Hawks flies Talidaar and Nyra the
Qué-Han. The appearance of the Giant Hawk causes quite a stir,
and omens are read. The People are happy that Chieftain's
Daughter is safe, but the political and social fallout comes
with the appearance of Talidaar. It is by the grace of the Lord
of Giant Hawks that Talidaar is given the benefit of the doubt.
Talidaar navigates the tricky diplomatic situation successfully,
without leaving bad blood, and has formed a close, tight bond of
respect with Chieftain's Daughter Nyra Dawnrunner, one that they
will always carry with them.

Kendermore.
Moonsong returns to Goldmoon, badly scarred from the Dragon
Attack.
Months later, Wydara from Tarsis and Talidaar from his forest
guide the surviving and afflicted Kender around the mountains to
help them get to ships at North Keep so they can make their way
to Hylo.
387 AC 4 SC The Dragon Purge Begins: The red dragon overlord
Malystryx begins using a ritual to absorb the spirits of dragons

Dezra Majere causes havoc through Solace, stealing, and
brawling. Tired of her antics, Caramon throws her out of the
house. The suddenly destitute Dezra is approached by the centaur
Trephas, who offers her a large amount of steel coins to aid him
in Darken Wood. Dezra agrees and leaves with Trephas. Caramon
worries that the centaur has abducted his daughter, setting
forth to find her and bring her back. The bard Borlos and young
Uwen accompany Caramon on his quest. In Darken Wood, Dezra and
Trephas are attacked by a group of strange-looking centaurs.
Caramon, Borlos, and Uwen arrive and aid in driving off the
centaur warriors, whom Trephas refers to as Skorenoi. Trephas
then explains that he hired Dezra as bait to draw Caramon into
the forest so that he could help the centaur warriors defeat
Lord Chrethon, who had captured the Forestmaster.
He goes on to explain that Lord Chrethon is aiding a servant of
Chaos, the daemon tree Grimbough, who is corrupting the forest
and has already altered Chrethon's tribe into the evil Skorenoi.
The group begins to journey to Ithax, the meeting place of the
centaur chieftains. En route to Ithax, Skorenoi ambushes the
party again, and Uwen is killed in the assault. The group
defeats the Skorenoi and reaches Ithax, where the surviving four
chieftains ask Caramon to bring back the magical axe
Soulsplitter to destroy Grimbough. The corrupted satyr Hurach
spies on the meeting and reports back to Lord Chrethon. The
Skorenoi chieftain determines to locate the axe and use it on
the Forestmaster to kill her.
Grimbough and Chrethon Undone: Caramon and his group find
themselves before a group of dryads, who aid them in journeying
to the land of the sprites, who are believed to be the ones to
last possess Soulsplitter. The king of the sprites, Laird
Guithern, tells the group that his ancestors left the axe in an
old tower, protected by a stone golem simply called the
Guardian. Dezra manages to get into the tower and recovers the
magical axe. In the meantime, Chrethon and his Skorenoi attack
Ithax, cutting down chieftain Menelachos and a large number of
the centaur forces. Caramon and his group return and are soon
joined by the sprites Fanium and Ellianthe. Learning of Ithax's
destruction, Trephas leads the group to the secret centaur
hideout, Lysandon. Hurach tracks the group to Lysandon, steals
Soulsplitter, and flees back to Lord Chrethon. Dezra decides to
take her money and leave Darken Wood to its fate; however,
Borlos tells the selfish girl off for her callous behavior.
Dezra, somewhat cowed, joins Caramon, Trephas, and Borlos in
making their way to Grimbough's Vale.
As the group leaves, the Skorenoi launch an attack upon
Lysandon. However, Fanium and Ellianthe led the Sprite army to
aid the centaur defenders, and the combined forces defeated the
Skorenoi. Lord Chrethon uses Soulsplitter on the Forestmaster,
weakening her. Arriving in the vale, Caramon kills Hurach, and
then Trephas slays Chrethon in battle. Caramon grabs at his
chest, whilst Grimbough tries to claim Trephas. However, Dezra
takes up Soulsplitter and kills Grimbough with it. Caramon dies
from a heart attack; however, the Forestmaster is freed and uses
her horn to bring Caramon back to life. With the fighting now
over, Borlos decides to remain in Darken Wood, whilst Caramon
and Dezra return to Solace, offering a farewell to Trephas and
the centaurs.

was on its way to fall on Inath Wakenti).

superior godlike Magical powers. Dalamar assists Talidaar and
the Elven Wizards, and the Oge Titan retreats to the North, on

-Talidaar sees Longshot for the first time in forty years, the
only problem is that he has not aged a bit since he last saw
him. Talidaar has trouble figuring out what has happened to him,
as he is unusually quiet on the subject.
-Lord Rage returns to Krynn and comes to Northern Khur to take
over the Undead Army that survived, and then goes to invite
Talidaar on a journey south and fight the Red Dragon that
controls the Dragon Army. It is still in its cave. It has
refused Lord Sargonas's right of command; it has forfeited its
life. Talidaar refuses until Dalamar the Dark shows up and
offers his aid. Dalamar returns to Wayreth and uncovers the
spell needed to bind the Dragon's wings. A small army of Wizards
of High Sorcery joins Talidaar and the Death Knight, and they
travel south to forestall the impending Dragon War.
A Half-Elf Knight of the Skull is betrayed by her Dragon Mount
before she can defect to the Elves in Northern Khur. The Ogre
Titans forced her Dragon Mount to fly and save her from the
raging ogres headed north. She finally escapes her Dragon and,
through many trials, she makes it to the elves. Talidaar
questions her and eventually vets her, and she is allowed to
stay in the valley of Inath Wakenti.
Her Dragon is sent into the Valley and has lain in wait and
knifes the Half-Elf traitor on his way to kill the Speaker of
the Sun and Stars.
The Half-Elf calls out on the magical drum and warns the speaker
and his companions that the Dragon is upon them and is in Human
form. The speaker is saved, and the Dragon is killed; they find
the half-elf dead from her wounds beside the magical drum.
The Dragon Battle over Khur
Talidaar learns the Red Dragon is protecting a clutch of eggs
that are purported to be his and Malay's. After Lord Rage draws
out the Dragon, Talidaar and Lashia enter the cave and take the
Dragon Eggs to bargain with the Dragon.
Overhead, the Two Dragon Armies clash over the Desert. In the
ensuing fight, Marilee's dragon's wings are destroyed, and he
plummets to the ground and tells Marilee to unstrap and save
herself. Marilee saves herself and unstraps. Her Feather Fall

Wizard of the Red Order. Both are lifelong Griffon-Riders. They
are the daughters of Talidaar and Kira Silverleaf, Talidaar's
first wife and their mother. Las was named after Lashia, Kira's
best friend
Nebris shares this lineage with the Twins, with Kira as his
mother, too. She died not long after Nebriss was born. He
follows in his father's footsteps in the rough and tumble life
of a Druid of Chislev, especially being the son of Talidaar, the
former Grand Druid, constantly looming over his shadow. He lived
on the Plains for a long time and learned the ways of the Plains
of Dust on his own to stand apart, but he has since returned to
serve as an agent of his Father. Who knows where his political
fortunes will blow in the future?
Daera, the eldest child of Talidaar and Lashia, his youngest
daughter, has recently been trained by Talidaar's sister Wydara
of how to swordfight like a Gladiator. Her Brother,
Sator is the youngest child of Talidaar and Lashia's children
and the youngest of all the Arabgon Clan. Sator almost lives in
another world. he is perfectly respectful. But he marches to the
beat of his own drum. He has gravitated from youth to being a
swordsman and warrior.

Dae Dyrnastaerynfalos, The Family Keep

Family Keep
Created by DCR
The Shelter's walls are made from living wood. Each of the five
"points" of the Pentagon are Redwoods. The walls are formed from
roots that start roughly 40 feet up the sides of the trees and
angle down to 36 feet in the middle, merging with the
neighboring tree's roots, in all, constructing a keep nearby to
the Main House where Talidaar had lived since arriving in
Merwellyn 65 years ago. The pentagon-shaped structure, to serve
as his family's keep, is 500 feet per side, and each floor is
420,000 sq. feet. It is three stories in height, plus 1 basement
and 1/2 subbasement, thus, the total sq. footage of the Keep is
1,890,000 sq. feet.
The Arbagon family moved into the keep fifty years ago. Talidaar
immediately saw to the removal of the old house. As soon as this
was done, he coaxed the forest back to the cleared ground.
Close family members such as Wydara, Damara, and Hythanas have
bedrooms at the Keep, as do Merrilee, Las, Nebris, Daera, and
Sator. The Twins and Daera had a large room down the hall from
Talidaar and Lashia. The Kender Longshot stayed with the Grand
Druid for several years, and a room was made for him in the
Keep, but he has only slept in a few times during the Age of
Mortals. He's been off on his adventures elsewhere.
Talidaar's longtime assistant Liam Tabat, a half-elf Druid, has
a room in the keep also. Aside from these, there are ten guest
rooms, a library, a study, a large kitchen, the staff's rooms,
five water closets, the dining room, a smaller private breakfast
room, the twins' nursery/playroom, a war room - complete with a
rack of maps, and a conference-sized table - and of course, the
living room.
The courtyard has a rock garden of precious stones from
Thorbardin and an amazing bathhouse. Talidaar was able to tap an
extremely deep underground water source, which now fuels a
natural hot spring. This spring feeds the top of three pools,
each staggered beneath another. This pool is the hottest,
generally reserved for deep tissue relaxation used in medical
practices. The water from this pool overflows down one side to
the next pool below. The second pool down is slightly cooler,
though still quite warm, and is the one used when people want to
relax in a casual setting. The water overflows down one side to
the third, the lowest pool. This pool is cooler than the two
above, but still mildly warm, used for bathing. Underground
pipes to the sea drain the water from this point away.
Talidaar, Lashia, Las, and Nebris each maintain separate
personal laboratories in the basement and subbasement levels.
These contain indoor plumbing for three large sinks, small
ovens/kilns, and racks upon racks of glass alchemical bottles,
jars, measuring devices, pipes, and tubes. A convenient
bookstand, one table of thick sturdy Ironwood, one table of
stone with a slate top, one table of wood with an ½ inch-thick
steel top, and several stools fill the room. An open fireplace
sits on one wall, with iron, copper, and silver kettles on hooks
ready for use.
The laboratories are - thanks to Lashia and Las - magically
shielded against explosions, fire, acid, and lightning. The
doors also - thanks to Talidaar and Nebris - automatically
sealed, preventing any gases from escaping.
A small courtyard, half enclosed, serves as Merrilee's private
training hall, complete with Kicking and punching bags, Weapons
racks holding every conceivable melee weapon, and several
targets of varying shapes and sizes. She has since passed it on
to her younger siblings, Daera and Sator.

(Work in Progress)
At the close of the War of Souls, Talidaar gave over the Staff
of Chislev that had served him when he was the Grand Druid of
Krynn, as well as his years as a Hierophant Druid before the Age
of Mortals. He passed the Staff over to the next Grand Druid, to
be passed with the Office. For himself, when the Gods returned,
he fashioned a Staff from a branch from Merwellyn Forest and
called it the Staff of the Hierophant (Or the Staff of
Merwellyn) with the blessing of Chislev.
