I am the dog that finally caught the car and realizing all my
efforts was to get me this point in almost all the stories and
now I have to plan out the next bit for how things turn out. All
my careful plotting and planing was to get here. Oh.
I have to decide how this conversation with the Speaker is going
to go. Because Lord rage handed Talidaar a chance to stop the
fight and him being a Neutral Druid, he has no choice in not
considering the option. So, I just have to play out the
conversation so i can write it down. But it a complex question.
Then I have to think is it actually possible to actually do
what the Death Knight is proposing. Dalamar is questioning if it
can be done.
So, I am sorry things are held up. I need to go over and do
stuff with Rilla and Rotas, which I close to having done but not
there yet.
Meanwhile I am readying Knights and Elves to go into battle.
Also been doing work on the Conclave, finding out when I can
game with Karnea's player.
Characters we love will come back. I just need to do a few
stories. I am here. Thinking though what is next.

Behind the DM's Screen Vol. VII Working

Greetings. Sorry for the long time between posts. This site is
not dead. Just been working behind the scenes on what is coming
next.
I will be on for a while. I don't know if stories are ready to
go up, but I am working to get another player integrated into
the Forum. I have had to do a ton of research for things to make
sense.
Also been getting things ready for the upcoming Conclave.
Figuring out all the lore around the Night of Eye, the Conclave,
The Hall of Mages, Wayreth, and detail who the Conclave members
are for all the Robes and narrow down who is conclave members of
the Black Robe. Many changes has come to that list, but I think
I have narrowed it down.
Again, it is the names. I had to go through several lines of the
novel Wizard's conclave to get everyone that shows up to the
Battle of Wayreth. Not everyone is named, So I had the find the
right names for them. I have several lists of the Robed orders,
but the names are terrible, just terrible. It can take hours or
days for names to come to find the right one.
Also, you will begin to notice some alliteration names start
creeping into the story. Some names sound good with
alliteration, others sound forced and I won't know for sure what
sounds forced until I set with it for a while.
I feel I am terrible with names, I try very hard to make sure
they are not completely bad, though some get past me and I just
have to live with it. I was talking with my friend and I was
telling this problem and he instantly loved some of the names I
came up with. Like Darius Desaad. He thought that was awesome,
and I admit, It is one of my cooler sounding names.
I've need this time to regroup, I was kind of running myself
into the ground and falling apart there for a while. I had not
had several books for over 15 years. Now i have Chronicles
again, all first printing, that was a surprise, but I'm glad. I
got all of Legends, all the War of Souls.
I am also deciding where to set up Darius Desaad's Story
section, In the Wizard's section, Ergoth section, or his own as
he will have a information page as well. I have decided to set
him in the Ergoth section as he is very tied to Northern Ergoth.
Warning. While I do have some stories plotted and ready to game,
this player has very little time to game, so we will try when we
both can connect, but the warning is this will be a slow burn
like the Karnea stories have turned out. This character has been
in the planning and refining stages for years and years and have
only found the key to crack the code of the character recently
by tying with Dunbar Mastermate, a obscure character that I had
never done much with. I have have done some time wavy stuff with
the character, giving him 20 years back to him by Nuitari. I
think it sets him at the right age if Takhisis had never stole
the world for forty years.
Item: You may be wondering where Return to the Dragon Isles
went. I have moved it off the main page and put it into Lashia's
stories as she played a big part, the stories are still relevant
and not ready for the archives just yet.
Note, I Think that is it for now. The Royal Court of Gilthas is
coming soon, as is the tale of the Barbarian trying to escape
and lead a army of revenge. Still deciding if going up against
this Red Dragon is a good idea or not. I'm still not sure if
they can do it.
So I am still working on stuff.More Rilla, Rotas, figuring out
what I am doing with Wydara and Las and the kids and I am
continuing to get the Conclave Session refined enough to game
when Adam gets time free. The conclave story structure was set
up a while back, I have been building it part by part. I am
getting closer to all the refinements, I am just wondering if it
will fit in the space allotment for the page. There is over 10
page prelude. plus the interludes.
Again, that is it for now. I am not dead, yet. I have spent some
days in bed, some times I have to craft how things will go down
before I go to sleep over a couple of nights. I am very sorry to
leave everyone hanging for their favorite characters and story
lines. I have to be truthful, I needed a break and allow my self
to do this incrementally. Don't lose hope. Things are still
moving behind the scenes. still writing and refining. Thank you
for coming back checking if things are still active here. They
are still active here.
So you guys soon with some more stories posting in the coming
days.

Behind the DM's Screen Vol. VII Pastorian

Hello all. I am headed to bed here soon, but I wanted to come on
and give a update. Sometimes these stories just come to me
whether I want them to or not. It is all about mood. In any case
I have gotten the First Chapter up for Darius Desaad. My friend
has been very busy, so just going to wait on him. I think we can
all guess this Clockmaker sounds like something that is
familiar. All I can say at this point is they might might be a
descendant of the person from the recent Novels. I am still
salty if they are going to wipe out the last forty years of
character development, so I am going to be delicate in how I
proceed with this new NPC, the Clockmaker.
In other news back, to that part where a conversation just
started happening while I was doing other things and all of a
sudden I was like, oh, this is too good, I need to write this
down.
So Horned Intentions has been bothering me for some time because
there is so much story leading up to Story Two and Story one was
just not how I wanted it to end up. So I am taking the timeline
and turning it into Story One. I took the timeline off so things
will be a little bit of a surprise. I can also inject stuff that
I have been wanting to do, but just had no way to pull it off in
Story II. So this will be a godsend to me. I can do it right,
and line everything up, make it all fit organically.
Plus I have not gotten to play with the Library yet in the game.
I got to set up something important that I have been wanting t
set up for a age. Building the relationship with the Library and
Karnea. Plus I wanted to establish Pastorian as the new Bertrem
as he is name dropped in the Rise of Solamnia Volume III The
Measure and the Truth has having the top job at the library now.
It allows me to go ahead with something I had planned to take
place in the finale of Karnea story II Consolidation of Power. I
just was not sure if I could do it, but now I can.
I will get back to everything else. I have just been getting
ready for the upcoming Conclave. I promise I will get back to
the other characters, still trying to figure out if they could
take the Red Dragon. I will do it when I am ready. Its a little
overwhelming. Just doing what I can right now around the
margins.
I was having trouble deciding how a story based about Darius
Desaad would work and then I found my angle into the story.
Anyways, I won't be having Thanksgiving until next Weekend,
that's okay.
I will writing as much as I can once the snow starts coming
down. I have a long way to go. I sometime can't believe what has
been built. Again, I don't know if it is the characters or the
story, or if it is both. I am really proud of these characters.
I miss my girl Daera, and I need to get Lashia and Damara into
action, and Marilee and Shimmer going soon.

Thank you for allowing me to indulge myself to be able to write
the Return of Karnea. I have looked at that Timeline over and
over Karnea Return and I knew there was stories to do that was
important.
Still figuring out the mess I made of the Khur situation.
Throwing the Death Knight in really gummed up the works. still
figuring my way through this part of the story. Fighting against
a writers block.
Going to try to get these stories going again. Still need to see
if Karnea's player is a any closer to getting some projects
done.
With this recent Ruins of Schallsea story, I sort of stepped on
my players toes as he has been working on his Schallsea project
for a few weeks. He has been planing on detailing his former
Tower on Schallsea, located in the Barren hills. I just beat him
to the punch of describing its ruins.
I hope to get the stories going. The seasonal depression has
just been weighing on me. I don't have anything else ready to
post. That is it for the night.

Hello, Greetings all. I am sorry to say I am on cleaning things
up tonight. I have a Story One Karnea story that is close to
being done. I wrote: the Ruins of Schallsea and this other one
called: in Search of the Wayreth Forest. Its about 75% done.
Just been really inspired by this unconstrained new timeline
documenting Karnea's Return in 421 AC.
Adam inspired me with writing this recent Ruins of Schallsea
Tower with him answering some of my questions. I took that went
crazy and wrote and wrote and wrote.
He had been formulating what he was going to write about the
Schallsea Tower, it was all in his head until he wrote it out
today after seeing what I wrote. It was a crazy good synergy. He
had all the information about Schallsea, I have notes and dates,
and rules for everything else, but did not have his tower on
File.
I had forgotten about the elementals. I had forgotten that it
was twenty stories. I remember a lot of other things about it,
but I think I blacked out launching the attack on his tower. I
just don't remember it. He remembers it completely.
The First couple of stories in this new Story One of the Return
has been one surprise after another. I never saw Karnea going to
Caergoth or the Library of Palanthas, but it has all made sense.
That means Coryn will be coming into the picture here soon in
this weird prequel story.
Stuff is coming. I have explained my issues.

Behind the DM's Screen Vol. VII The Clockmaker

Having a quiet day as my thanksgiving gathering wont be till
Saturday. I am on to fix some things that has been bothering me.
I have been writing the Second or third Chapter of Darius Dark.
Entitled the Clockmaker. I am about half done. I am pleased with
it so far. I will work on that today and see if its gets done to
post it. It is just establishing this character into the world
in this this time of 422 AC. She is the decedent of a character
that was introduced in the new Novels by Margaret Weis and Tracy
Hickman. They created a interesting concept that they are
clearly not done with and has inspired me to bring elements into
the game in my own way.
I think she is pretty different from everybody has come before
in my games. I am only introducing this character to be used in
the background and here and there, I don't think she will get
her own stories anytime soon, but a important character
nonetheless, just putting pieces in place so we know they are
there and part of the world.
Switching gears a little bit. I hope people are enjoying this
Story One the Return of Karnea set in late 421 AC. . I am
introducing Karnea into the equation and see how it all turns
out.
Adam is behind on stuff in real life so hopefully one day soon
we can move forward with the Conclave in 422 AC in Story II of
Karnea
Okay, I'm going to do some writing.

Behind the DM's Screen Vol. VII Possible Computer Issue? Its
okay, or maybe its not, its okay, oh, maybe not. Hmmmm

I am working on stuff, but I am alerting you all that the Drive
in my PC is acting like it has a error, writing over on its
drive over and over, when It did not do that before in these
intervals. It had a hick up the other day, its first, but it
acted fine yesterday, but now every once in a while it acts like
it what I described above. Like now it is acting fine. So I have
all my files on my external, that's a plus, but this PC HD has
my Windows writing program on here, so if I am booted off for a
few days, that is why.
I will be getting a new HD ready with a Windows Writing program
on it so I can go back to work.
I am working on Talidaar right now, at the meeting with the
Speaker. This conversation that I have been putting off for
weeks, I am trying to adress it now to try break apart the
logjam that has been building up in this part of the world. I
also came across a spell last night that might help in the
situation, so its taken me this long to figure a way out of the
situation, it has just taken a couple of weeks.
Computer is still acting fine, don't know, I hope to see you
tomorrow. I will see if I can get this chapter out later, that
is my goal. Going to look at Rilla and Rotas later, also looking
at planning out the gaming session for Darius Desaad in the
chapter entitled The Patron.
Update: PC Hard Drive is screwed up. The computer is trying to
fix the error, but I don't think it will work.
It may take me a week to get back up and running. At least my
D&D files are on this external Drive, so that is all there.
Nothing really on this drive, except my writing program and that
will be the main issue to get back. I'll see how it goes. I'm
sorry to leave you all hanging. I am not as mad as I could be.
Hoping this can all go like butter. Having my Thanksgiving
tomorrow.
Using my laptop at the moment and I just don't want to overheat
my laptop.

Hello all. On my Laptop that has an overheating problem. Doing
some little things, getting some more data put down about
Ergoth. I am moving the needle a little bit in Northern Ergoth
by addressing some of the aftermath from the Night of Unrest
that followed the escape of the Barbarian from the Old Round and
defied the Emperor's will.
Getting the court of the emperor established has been a goal
since I got the Northern Ergoth sandbox going. It will allow me
to storytell some important elements and better populate the
court, along with important people on the staff of the Emperor
that will be important in future storytelling in Northern
Ergoth.
Now that I know what the Emperor is going to do, I have a better
idea of what the barbarian has to do to survive.
Doing a lot of research and have been coming up with copious
ideas for stories and scenarios coming down the pike.
Going to get a new Hard Drive shortly, who knows how long it
with take to get every up to speed, hopefully just a couple of
days. Just nursing this Lap top since it is the only connection
to the outside world (besides my phone). Take care and talk to

Hello all. I am back. New Hard Drive, New Word program, nothing
was lost because all that is on the external goodness. So, As
you will have seen by now there has been activity in Ergoth.
Building this court out is a goal of mine, to get to know them,
and we will see what they are about.
Okay, I am now going to destress as all that time I have felt
for days since the computer went down.
Going to calm down and get back on the program.
