Story One: Black Night
Chapter One: The Lords of Neraka [/center]

Fifty Miles from Neraka
Six Hours before
Mayhem
That’s the only way to describe the Giants running into the Dark
Knights camp. Once they get their bearings, they begin picking
up boulders and begin throwing them at the massing Knights. The
scene is gruesome bone-crushing carnage. The Horn enrages them
and they go after the horn player. They rip dead trees from the
earth and batter any Knight that comes near.
A Horseman departs for Nerka.
Neraka, Capital City
The Horseman rides into the Capital and is taken to the Lord of
Night.
Headquarters
The Horsemen is brought into the Lord of Night
Lord of Night
Baltasar Rennold is tall, standing almost six and a half feet
high. He has thick, dark, bushy hair and sports a handlebar
mustache accented with a graying beard. “Well, what is it?”
The Horseman explains what is happening right now on the Hundred
Mile Road.
The Lord of Night rises and calls for the Lord Adjudicator to
join him. He then orders his adjunct to put an airwing out there
to deal with these giants and run them away and then orders The
Lilly Army to Assemble.
The Lilly Army begins to form on the Assembly grounds after
several minutes of scrambling.
The Dragons take off behind the gathering Army.
Lord Adjudicator Galen Nemedi He has a balding head, a gaunt,
almost skeletal face, piercing ice-blue eyes, and a deep voice,
comes across the parade grounds, resenting the fact that he is
being called anywhere. He marches up the steps into the Lord of
Night’s War room.
The Lord of Night asks him if he’s heard about the attack.
“Giants? What are we doing about it?” the Lord Adjudicator asks.
“I have an Airwing up there now, I’m about to March the Army of
the Lilly down there and see what happened.
“The whole army? Do you think that is wise?” The Adjudicator
asks, not liking this bold front Rennold is exhibiting. I should
be giving him orders the dolt.
“I want you to come with me.” The Lord of Night tells him.
You want me to what? The Adjudicator asks
“I think we need to investigate this.” Baltasar declares.
The Lord Adjudicator agrees finally and tells the Lord of Night
he is riding his Dragon to the site and he walks out.

Fifty Miles from Neraka
The Knights of Neraka travel down the Hundred Mile Road to the
site of the attack.
The Lord of Night surveys the carnage from his Horse. The Lord
Adjudicator rode to the site on Dragonback.
Hundreds dead, hundreds more maimed and injured. The Army
scattered.
Four Hill Giants lay dead, tracks leading off showing two Giants
escaped south.
The Lord of Skull reports that he saw the remains of a young
adult Red Dragon some distance away over the rise. “A Tylor was
feasting on the remains. I want to know what brought a Red
Dragon so close to this scene of violence?”
A Knight of the Skull is investigating the site for his Lord. He
finds evidence and brings it to his master. Broken arrows,
Elven. The Skull Knight tells the Leaders that he found them on
the back of the Giant’s legs. The two guards over there also
have Elf arrows in their faces. I would say this was an elven
operation.
The Lord of Night and the Lord Adjudicator look around the
canyon and see that they are in a perfect ambush point.
They are spooked. They send out troops to scout the area. Lord
Adjudicator sends a Talon out to scout the area over the net
rise. “See what you can see and report back.”

Chapter Three: News from Khur
The Titan-Dark Knight War continues [/center]

Neraka
A Dragonrider from Khur lands in the assembly area, and the
knight races to the Headquarters of the Knights of Neraka.
Soon, the Lord of Night Baltasar Rennold is alerted that a
Knight on the Khur Operation has returned bearing important
information. The Lord of Night tells his aide to bring the Lord
Adjudicator in.
Lord Adjudicator Galen Nemedi is told that his presence is
requested by the Lord of Night’s War Room. Galen is incensed. As
if he is a schoolboy all over again.
Soon Lord Adjudicator joins Baltasar Rennold. “Well, what is it
this time.”
The Lord of Night instructs the Knight to tell the Adjudicator
what he witnessed in Khur. “The Ogre Titans have attacked our
forces in Khur en masse. Hordes of undead, Ogres, and at least
nine Ogre Titans.”
“What of the sizable number of Dragons we have in the area?” The
Lord Adjudicator asks.
“The Titans have some power that allows them to use some sort of
light energy to shoot down several Dragons. The scene was
chaotic, but the Dragons pulled back to decide how to fight this
new threat.”
The Adjudicator is aghast. “This is really happening?”
The Lord of Night answers “It is. The only questions now are
What are we going to do and can we do anything about it.”
"There is something else. General Hengrif, something has
happened to him," states the returned Knight. He has become an
Undead Knight. It happened in the Temple of Sargonnas when
Hengriff was about to die."
The two Lords of Night are taken aback. They both knew Hengriff
and were greatly impressed with his record of getting things
done to be counted among the undead is deeply unsettling.
The Knight tells them that the fire at the garrison in
Khurri-Khan was burned down, there was a riot inside the city,
and many of our knights were killed. General Hengriff ordered us
to the Black Fort. he sacked the new Knight of the Skull,
branded her a traitor, and now, in the midst of marching on Tur,
the Ogre-Titans attacked.
"Lydia Ravenheart." The Lord Adjudicator says, "We just sent her
down there, what proof do they have of her treachery?"
"I cannot speak to why she was sacked, only that her Dragon
spoke against her."

The Titan-Dark Knight War continues[/center]

Word comes from a scout patrol that a large host of Ogres, Ogre
Titans, and Undead are now on the Hundred Mile Road.
The Lord of Night Baltasar Rennold stops what he is doing and
looks to the Lord Adjudicator Galen Nemedi, who is also in
shock.
“How the hell did they get from Khur to the Hundred Mile Road
overnight?” The Lord Adjudicator asks
“It is a different host, they came around Thordin.” The Knight
answers.
“There are two fronts they are opening up. They are coming
straight here.” The Lord of Night Baltasar Rennold observes.
“Call general quarters, have the men report to the assembly area
immediately!”
While his aide departs to sound the alarm, the Lord Adjudicator
walks to The Lord of Night's desk and looks at the Map of the
region. He sees the Hundred Mile Road leads straight to Neraka.
“What are we going to do?” He asks.
The Lord of Night answers, “I don’t know yet.”

Chapter Five: Withdraw [/center]
The Titan-Dark Knight War continues

Neraka
The Lord of Night has decided the Dark Knights will withdraw
from Neraka to Jelek for the time being. The Knights begin the
march North while the Adjudicator of the Skull and the lord of
Night draw up terms, saying they will leave the elves to
themselves going forward and will take no action against them
without the Titan’s approval.
They assign two diplomats to take their message to the Titans
while they head north to join their army.
They will send a message to Hengriff and tell him to withdraw
his army. They do not think he will accept the news, but I hope
he will follow their orders.
The Dark Knight Diplomats' heads are sent back to the Lord of
Knight.
