I have to say Liz, I'm loving the addition of the shout board.
Y'know, in case that wasn't already obvious rofl ;D
That said, I think I'm getting a little carried away with it.

Specifically what I want done is this:
I want the bars on the side to stay, and have links on them, but
only on the main homepage. It'll have links to our Original
Character creations, which can be submitted to any mod or admin,
and preferably have a picture or screenshot of said character,
as well as a background and maybe stats.
As well as that, links to the fanfiction forum and mod page.
I want two settings for a lyaout, one reflecting Mania and one
reflecting Dementia. Dementia, darker colors, most likely a gray
and red color, maybe even purple. Mania, a bright array of
colors with a hopefully spatter of rainbow colors.
Of course, possibly the arcade staying and maybe actually have
it run to where it SAVES the scores...
Char\t room, maybe do away with the shout box. MAYBE..
Lore about the Shivering Isles and Sheogorath
An "Ask Haskill" AO like the "ask God" website where it just
spouts back smartass answers.
GET RID OF THIS CENSOR IT'S SO RIDICULOUS!

Liz, I LOVE the idea of the different colors. Not complaining,
it is just that this glaring white page accented by bright red -
a bit blinding if you stay on here a while. A soothing NEUTRAL
color would be great (in other words, not black - it is as harsh
as white is; both are hard on the eyes).
I don't know where the chat box is or how to access it. Let's
talk about that! Lol.
Never get rid of a shout box, lol. Oh, I agree on the censor
too - we are all adults here, there are adult stories - and poor
Thorndog has to be mis-named to keep from having his name
bleeped.
You should be able to change the words not allowed or allowed
now; and also change what happens when a "Not Allowed" word is
used.
We could get together and make up words that the autocensor can
change curse words into - EXAMPLE:
$hit could be changed into "Mud Monkey" or "Dukey"
Fluck could be changed into "Doin' the Deed" or "Berry Sundae"
to describe a messier mating.
Baaastard could be "Who's your Daddy?"

I can roll with your ideas, Liz. However I agree with mALX on
the colour scheme, but I guess thatīs something we can toy with
until we find something everyone can agree on :)
I agree the white/red is hard on the eyes after awhile, much
like Bethsoftīs white/black can be too but in another way. Itīs
hard getting it right sometimes.

I agree with all of this. Maybe there is a colour scheme that
does the same job without looking similar?

Chorrol is a soothing beige color on my computer - very kind on
the eyes, and easy to read long pages of type. How is it gray
on everyone else's? My page on there has always been beige!
I would love that beige look, it would kind of be more
comfortable to hang out here.
Don't be too strict on tossing everything that is similar to
Chorrol; I mean - that place was fantastic for a decade, it was
a home away from home for many of us
(Blackie/Treydoggie/Kiln/me) -
I think you need to try to latch onto the good parts of Chorrol,
and discard the bad. Just trying to be completely different
than them is self destructive in the long term.
What you want to do is try to be the best for ourselves here,
and not worry about whether it is similar to Chorrol or not.
That way we will have an Awesome site, and who cares if some of
its features are like any other site out there - these places
are all templates anyway.
