       Ugh.
I abandoned the Bandit Slaughter, I looked up the reward and
it's just something I'd end up selling.
Moved on, to see if my guns are up to the task.
       I. Hate. Those. Damn. Rats.
Bloody things move in the most erratic way when you aim down the
scope at them, forget getting headshots once they start
       shooting.
And then the crystalisks. The first one I found took 15 shots to
put down. As it turns out, I can drop one in about 5 shots,
under optimal conditions. Optimal conditions in this case being:
First shot in the mag, fully charged amp shield, last possible
       moment of deception.
       Need. Bigger. Guns.
So I've retreated back to Fink's Slaughter house, for another
       session of reloading and praying.
Edit: That's it. I'm done with this. I've not gotten a usable
sniper rifle all day. The only ones with good stats have had the
worst scope possible, which is pretty damn counterproductive for
a bloody sniper rifle. And it's not just the elemental snipers
either. Every Jacob's sniper rifle, the ones that pack all the
       power, have been the same.
Damn game won't let me snipe.

The Circle of Slaughter are not really good for pure sniping.
Too much free-for-all- except they DON"T attack each other- just
       you.
For those- with Zer0- judicious use of deception skill and a
bladed gun- because of his other skill being melee.
Or- as you say- just skip the whole thing.
As far as sniper rifles, you will get a Sloth from Mordecai (or
       you can) from Rakkaholics Anonymous.
Otherwise- fight through the Bloodshot area and loot the chests-
lather rinse repeat- until a decent sniper turns up.
A more contained area, with some lockers and 4 chests is
Southpaw Steam and Power.... And it is a good place for sniping

Finally done with all the sidequests before heading off to the
       wildlife exploitation preserve :)
I have no idea what's about to happen...

Working on the Crumpet search- and dying frequently....
So- was going to go back to "Bunker farming"... which I am
doing. BUT- I got a Bee shield! Yay me!
Figure I will work the Bunker area to get enough drops to sell
to the machines to get the "For the Hoard" challenge completed.
Then back to the Forest- where I can die some more. But I will
go play the one-armed bandits at Moxxi's first- so I can- A)
Lose all that money and/or B) Complete the slot machine
       challenge.

       Ugh.
About to head off to Opportunity, been doing some side quests in
       Lynchwood.
There are not sufficient words to describe how much I hate
Lynchwood. Trying to play a sniper in a place where enemies
spawn 6 feet away is a damn nightmare.
Especially when the only weapon you have that isn't a sniper
       rifle is Rubi.

       That's it, I'm done.
I'm putting away my sniper Zero.
Right now, there are two things killing me: The fact that my
weapons are 5 or 6 levels lower than I am, making one shot kills
a rarity, and the lack of range, which is a real problem when
running a sniper class mod and an amp shield. At this point, I
can only guarantee a one shot kill from the first shot in the
mag, because I have a class mod that adds four points to one
shot one kill (meaning +108% gun damage!). After that anything
tougher than a standard marauder takes two shots to put down.
I'm betting it'd be great fun playing a sniper when playing
co-op, but when going solo, having enemies spawn in shotgun
range really puts a cramp on it. Kinda pisses me off that I'm
closing in on the end of the game (level 31, trying to get to
       the info stockade).
Think I'll fire my Siren back up...

Okay, decided to push in with Zero, exploited the Captain
Scarlett's DLC to get a weapon vending machine with guns at a
better level. Died more times from then on than I had in all th
game before that, in the course of some of the scrappiest
[s]sniping[/s] shooting I've ever committed in a game, and
finally bludgeoned my way through it.
       COMPLETED!
Took my Zer0 to Tiny Tina's DLC. Lasted three seconds in the
       first fight against those Skellymens.
       Now I've really retired him.
So now the question is: Finish my Maya run, or restart with
       either Axton or Gaige?

Zer0 (Trey) has finally collected 3 million dollars (Dr. Evil
       voice)
So he will now go to Sanctuary and gamble it until he gets that
challenge- or runs out of money.
Either way is good- because if he is broke- dying won't cost him
anything... And dying in Tiny Tina's game of Bunkers & Badasses
       is quite frequent.
Meanwhile, Gaige is looking for the Firehawk...

       Well, I'm kinda annoyed.
A weird glitch popped up in my Siren game, so a few of the fast
travel locations weren't accessible from the terminals. So I
headed over to The Fridge, the easiest of the missing ones to
get to, and tried traveling from there. Even then, it didn't
       show up on the list.
So I had to scrap that game.
Now I'm back to the question of: Siren, Commando, or
       Mechromancer?
       Hmm...
