I have doubts about Kobby's list myself...
Mythbusters busted numbers 11 and 17. I'm pretty sure the reason
for people saying "bless you" is religious. And I'm not sure
about 10 either, don't really see that blood flow gets spiked
like that.

- The Universe is roughly 14 Billion years old...
- The sun is roughly 5 billion years old and is due to start
dying in another 5 billion years...
- The Earth is roughly 4 billion years old and the moon, just
over 3.5 million years old...
- The dinosaurs never really died out entirely, but the mass
extinction 65 million years ago - caused by a massive meteor
that hit a place near Mexico, which caused a global winter event
- wiped the majority of the giants out forever....
None of this sheer awesomeness can explain the natural phenomena
which would result in Honey Boo-Boo...
Also, I once insulted the novelist Greg Keyes' mother...True
story...And it all stems from the time when she used Greg's
sign-in on his forum (that no longer exists) for a
time...Ooopsie...Easy mistake to make...I assumed it was Greg
Keyes Senior and all that... :-\ ...

I have another story about him. I once read in a historically
correct (or supposedly so) magazine that Hitler was sleeping in
a trench at night and suddenly woke up by a bad dream. The dream
was so bad that because of it he had to get up and just walk
away. He got out of the trench minutes before a grenade fell
down right where he had been and exploded.

1.) Porphyrophobia is a condition that is the excessive fear of
the color purple.
2.) The sweat of a Hippo turns red, and can be confused for
blood.
3.) Blood itself however isn't always purple, and depending on
the animal, can be green, yellow and even clear.
4.) Scientists have successfully trialed a breath test to detect
stomach cancer.
5.) There is a metal called Gallium that can melt in your hand.
6.) There is a substance known as "frozen smoke" that is
completely solid, amazingly strong, and weighs almost nothing.
7.) There exists a room so quiet the decibel level is measured
in the negative, and you can hear your own heart and organs in
it.
8.) There is a tree that is called the "rainbow eucalyptus" that
naturally looks like it's been spray painted.

I've heard of the room, and supposedly the longest anyone can
stand to stay in it is like thirty two minutes or something.
