Reading this thread has given me the itch to fire this up again,
see about a runthrough of the MQ and the expansions, minus
mothership zeta of course ;D

Yup, and I want no part of it ;D
I'm thinking I'll just stop fighting it and go back to my
default setting, tech-junkie out of vault 101. Energy weapons
and power armour seems to me to be the way to go. I'll miss out
on sniping, but if I try that I'll only end up pining for energy
weapons...

I never have gone all energy weapons, I prefer regular guns too
much. And power armour is out of the question for me since you
need to do the MQ to get the training.

Heh, I'm too much of a sci-fi fan to pass up on energy weapons.
That, and when I tried using small guns I ended up carrying a
half dozen different weapons, each for a different purpose lol

Yeah, that is a drawback when it comes to ballistic weapons.
Each has its own area of useage ;D

With energy weapons it comes down to three: Protectron's Gaze,
Wazer Wifle, and that android's plasma rifle.
When I played FO:NV, I had the same problem I get in FO3 with
small guns. So many energy weapons available...

Today something remarkable happened! Thanks to me going down
Irradiated Metro I found a place I havenīt been to in my 400+
hours; LīEnfant Plaza!!
I donīt do dungeons so much anymore and I have avoided said
metro because of its name, but it wasnīt so bad and it gave me
what I always want; more unexplored areas! ;D

Been playing Fallout 1, and still not able to get into. It's
just this combat system they've go tgoin, doesn't work for me at
all.
One day I'll get New Vegas up and running again. One day.
