I've played elder scrolls on PC, PS3, Xbox, and Xbox 360. I've
played similar games on the others

Ah, I was going to say that it wasn't until Oblivion that we got
TES on Playstation 3...
At some point they may release the others on PS4's streaming
thing...Who know?... :D ...

Wouldn't that require you to buy the game again, effectively?
Seems like a way to gouge people instead of implementing
backwards compatibility, but I can't say I've looked into the
thing.

Er...Yeah, but what I'm hoping for is for stuff like Morrowind
and maybe earlier being released...It's possible, the code on it
isn't all that removed from PC...Well, apparently so anyways...
I admit, what I've heard is only Playstation
Backcatalogue...Which will likely include the
Oblivion/Skyrim/Fallout 3 combo somewhere along the line...I'd
just like to see the earlier ones without taking up the comp for
more hours on end...
I'm already pushing it with the amount of weekend daylight hours
writing I'm doing at the mo... :D ...

I doubt the older TES games will pop up. From what I've heard
they lost the source code for Daggerfall, so they'd basically
have to remake the game from scratch. As for Morrowind, I don't
know what sort of deal Bethesda made with Microsoft to get
Morrowind onto the Xbox, but I'd bet that it ruled out the
release of the game on the PS2. Sony might be able to port the
Oblivion/Skyrim/Fallout for the PS4, but that'll be done by
them, not Bethesda. And only if they can get the licenses for
them sorted out. They'd need to get permission to change the
code, and it would have to be Sony's end, rather than
Bethesda's, since they don't go back to their old games.

I play on the 360 mainly. I've always preferred the ease of
plug and play consoles over the PC because of xompatibility
issues and such.

I play exclusively on PC. I've never owned a console or played
on a console. I'm not even sure what a console looks like. :D
