Motor vehicles

Hello and welcome to the motor thread! :)
Here we can talk about what we currently drive and what we have
driven and what we would like to drive... Or just anything
motor-related!
I currently have an Audi A4 Quattro and a Kawasaki KLR 650. I
would never go back to 2WD again because winter roads feel like
summer roads with a Quattro, and I absolutely love my Kawa! Itīs
proper awesomeness although maybe a bit too big for that heavy
offroad driving as it can be a little hard to pull the bike up
if you go down.
So what do you guys have? :)

So today Iīm off for the annual checkup on my car. Basically I
have never gotten home with a clean paper, even if it often is
just minor things, and with this car I know I will get
complaints every year because of the tinted windows. I know that
itīs not ok to tint the windshield and the two front windows but
this car has the lightest tint there is and you donīt notice it
when driving in the dark.
They were already tinted when I got the car and I like it.
Whatīs funny is when I did the checkup for the first time last
year and afterwards went to the mechanics who are the only ones
who can do anything about it (canīt do it myself, doesnīt count)
they just laughed at the complaint and never thought twice about
just leaving it there. They thought it was ridiculous since the
tint was so light. So I guess itīs somewhat ok anyway but this
also means I know I will always get that remark every year...

Back from the checkup and as expected there were a few things,
though only minor ones. But this time there was no mention at
all about the tinted windows, and I even had the same guy as
last year!

Just had the bike checked up too and as expected, no problems :)
When I got home I took the time to sort out some papers I have
on it. Always good to have that in order even if itīs not
needed. Anyway, now I donīt have to get the bike checked until
2016! ;D
