       Amethyst arc, take whatever

A notice board stood in the centre of the village, few stopped
to read it. Those few brewed the sickest gossip tea known to
Glenton knew where to get gossip. Kiera stood square to a poster
condemning 'trouble makers, slackers, and rouges' "So the order
own/have/run half of Glenton, our political defence is down to 4
people, none as good as Marketa (No offence, Em), and now the
Order wants me behind bars? I'd like to see them try." She
turned to her sister to find she had walked on without her long
ago. Kiera cast a surreptitious look over one shoulder then spun
back into the foot traffic with a look over the other. No one
seemed to notice her mistake, good. She had enough people
thinking she was too mad to function. She wove her way down the
street, sneaking gold out of the coin pouches of [who is she
stealing from]. They could afford to lose a coin or two.
Grinning as she went, Kiera made her money.
As she strolled, she caught sight of Pansy himself, swaggering
as if he owned the very stones he walked on- seriously, if
you're going to walk like you own the place, go to a place you
actually own- with his black Labrador plodding alongside him. As
the Chancellor stopped to look down on a stall's offering, Kiera
walked up to his dog and stroked it. Damn, she liked dogs. With
a quick glance at Pansy (still wrapped up in his snobbish false
compliments) she motioned for the dog to follow her. He did so,
slowly at first but as Kiera picked up speed, so did the dog.
She grinned as the dog kept up with her and she made her way
       back to the tower.
"Oi, Nameles!" Pansy shouted, realising his dog had wandered
off. Kiera had to supress a giggle as she ran back home, Nameles
on her heels. "Nameles, come!" Pansy had not figured out which
direction his dog had gone but Kiera realised it wouldn't be
long before he spotted her flapping green jacket and aura of
mischief. Also his dog, sleek black against the grey stones.
It wasn't long before she could hear the heavy thudding of Pansy
in pursuit. Fortunately, she could keep ahead of him, fuelled by
the thrill of crime and the encouragement of Les at her heels.
Skidding into the street that led to Amethyst Tower, with only a
quick glance to check if Les was still with her (and the
affirmation that Pansy was surprisingly gaining on her) she
fished her key out her pocket. She only just managed to stop
before slamming into the door. Hurriedly unlocking the door and
ushering Les in, she hastily followed and locked the door behind
her. She bounded up the spiral staircase with a skin-splitting
smile. Pansy knew as well as Kiera that he could do no more. Les
was effectively in her very incapable hands until Kiera came to
       her senses.

Emily's afternoon was predictable, just how she liked it. After
she ditched Kiera, she met her friends for some shooting and
shade, as she liked to call it. The Order owning Topaz had
apparently had little effect- the only difference was more
conspiracy theories shared over pints, predicting times of doom
and darkness to come (and they were shared by members of other
tribes). In Sapphire, however, intellectual discourse was
slipping into minor action. Rebellion. They were becoming
restless without their leader, questions on her whereabouts were
whispered between complaints and accusations against The Order.
They were stirring. Emily mulled over this while buying bread
and some fabric to patch her Ranger uniform (a close encounter
with squirrel kind) and one of Kiera's shirts (a close encounter
with Rita's sword). If the Sapphire tribe didn't settle down
soon, the Chaos that could ensue could give way to complete
Order control. The consequences swirled through Emily's mind,
with little possibility for a solution until she reached her
room. "Kiera, I'm home." she shouted in the hope Kiera was
either in or not completely engrossed in reading. Emily popped
her head in the Kiera's room to see her sister, her older,
supposedly more mature sister, having a staring contest with a
dog. Days like these, Emily was glad she took over the Amethyst
tribe instead of the human mess that was Kiera.
"What do I do, Em." Kiera asked, without looking away from Les.
"Take it back to where ever you found it? Where did you find
       it?"
"In the market. Next to Pansy. Because Les is his dog." If Kiera
had looked up, she would have seen Emily's eyes widen in
       flabbergasted fury.
"Go get the soup and heat it up. Now." Emily ordered. Kiera
stood up, rubbed Les on the head, and did as she was told.
"Right, time to get you home."
It didn't take long for Emily to change into her black dress and
cloak. With a soft click of her fingers, she led Les down the
stairs to the outside. She swept her hair into her hood and put
it up with a flourish. Emily took the dog to a grassy patch and
she absently watched as the dog bounded around, sniffing things
that caught its interest. Emily wished she could keep the dog
but there was trouble enough in Glenton without a manhunt for
her sister over a dog. Les wandered back to Emily, ready to go
home. The dog was obedient, surprisingly, Emily thought, given
how little control Pansy exhibited over people. She walked to
the house she knew Pansy was residing in- it seemed tidy enough,
yet a stark contrast from the over grown hanging baskets and
bunting of her street. Ruffling his fur, Emily knocked 4 times
       before disappearing into the night.
Don't expect much from this or me. I know you don't already but
       more so for this
